Things I liked:

Fairly consistent pellet weights, easy pellet insertion and uniform unbent pellet skirts.

Things I would have changed:

Screw top lid on container.

What others should know:

I bought these pellets primarily for plinking with three match pistols. A Feinwerkbau 90 Match, Beeman/Diana "Original" Mod.10 Match, and a Russian Bikal IHZ-46M Match. The only reason that I mention the makes of the pistols is because two of them are spring air and one is a single stroke pneumatic but they are all recoilless which gives them superb accuracy. Also, all three pistols have Leupold/Gilmore 1 moa Red Dot sights which also helps to improve their accuracy. Normally for match shooting I use RWS R10 7.0 Grain Match pellets. If I bench mount these pistols and use R10's, I am able to get one hole targets at 10 yds. and the hole is not much bigger than the pellet. This is especially true with the Feinwerkbau and Diana. However when I used the JSB's Exacts, at 10 yds., I found that they will also give me just slightly larger one hole groups than the R10's (no kidding). When shooting both R10's and JSB's bench rest at 20, 30 yards and (even at 40 yds. just for grins), there is no contest. The JSB's beat the R10's by a fair margin for for both accuracy and less pellet drop. but that was to be expected or was it. One last note: Finally I tried these pellets in a Feinwerkbau 300S Match Rifle at 10 yds. and things got even better. One hole, 5 shots .190 dia., not to shabby for a dome pellet. These are now my PPP's (plinking pistol pellets) of choice and maybe after further testing, even for some of my slower rifles. Give'em a try.

Things I liked:

Nothing

Things I would have changed:

Better quality control

What others should know:

Perhaps I got a bad batch, but the quality control on these pellets is AWFUL! Many with deformed skirts, uneven skirt shape, flanges at base of skirt. As you would expect, equally bad accuracy, even at only 20 yards.

    Things I liked:

Like the weight and shape of these along with the exact sizing. I figure if I get a flyer now I won't be able to blame it on the ammo. Packed very well .......... with a little hole drilling the foam block will make a nice holder of pellets to protect then even further.

    Things I liked:

Product availability and prompt shipment are always as expected.

    Things I would have changed:

Product was not packaged for safe shipment as in the past. Past shipments were stacked and contained with tape to guarantee the products safe journey. This time it was not stacked or taped allowing it to escape the foam blocks and wander around an oversized box during transit. These are precision pellets for bench rest competition. 8 cans of pellets don't belong in a box 20x6x6 plus inches in size. Packaging people were in too much of a hurry or not trained very well.

    What others should know:

Past shipments and experiences were up to standards and acceptable.

    Things I liked:

These are an inexpensive but consistent round nosed pellet, suitalbe for informal target shooting. They tend to run slightly smaller than other brands and load easily but seem cosistent. The round nose punches a clear and scorable target with less tear-out than flat nosed pellets.

    Things I liked:

Pyramyd Air knows how to package pellets for shipping! And, at least to my address, they ship fast. Other companies just throw them in a padded envelope, and the pellets arrive all beat up.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't know what could be changed other than the price.

    What others should know:

At least out of any of my guns, these pellets group nicely. But Crosman Premiers shoot just as well, and they're a whole lot cheaper. I buy a lot of different pellets out of curiosity.

The 80% that sized at 4.52 and 4.53 shot well from my modified Beeman P-17. with the 4.53s grouping the best at 30 yards (1") The 15% 4.51s shot poorly. I threw away the 5% that were smaller.

    Things I would have changed:

    More consistent sizing.

    What others should know:

If you care about accuracy use a pellet sizer

    Things I liked:

(see photo of chronograph results) These pellets shoot extremely well in my Beeman R7. Ten shots averaged 678 fps with an extreme spread of 7 fps and standard deviation of 2 fps! At 21 yards I keep shots within a 0.50" circle. Considering three .177 pellets placed side-by-side measures 0.531" wide, that is pretty amazing. Most of the time all pellets in a string are touching. This is shooting from a sitting position with only the forestock resting on a bag. Of course the Beeman R7 has a lot to do with this but it does not shoot as well with other pellets under the same conditions. Finally, they come in a nice screw-on lid tin.

    Things I would have changed:

Inside the tins there is a circle of foam padding between the pellets and the lid. There was no circle of foam padding between the pellets and the bottom of the tin. I would suggest they add foam padding to the tin bottom in addition to the foam at the top.

    What others should know:

I believe these are essentially the same pellets as the Falcon 7.33g. In my shooting the Falcon labeled pellets have done ever so slightly better than the JSB labeled pellets. The Falcons are $1.00 more per tin than the JSB. I'm only guessing, but I'd suspect JSB makes the Falcons on a dedicated die or they inspect them more closely for uniformity. Anyway... I buy the Falcons over the JSB whenever they are in stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Slightly smaller than some of my guns prefer, and more variation than with the Exacts. All fit looser (than the Exacts), but about one out of 20 are really a loose fit. I got these thinking they would be great for my R7, buy they don't work that well in it. They shoot quite well in other guns though.

Have shot a few tins of these in the low velocity Avanti 747. Very consistent. I guess what prompts me most to write this review is that the latest tin I got had a THREADED TOP! Way to go, JSB. Unfortunately the other tins of JSB that I bought at the same time do not have threaded tops. Maybe eventually all will have.

These pellets are the favorite of my Kral Puncher .177. They are packed in a container that is easy opened and closed. Each pellet is uniform and clean. After shooting hundreds of pellets I'm very happy with both pellets and AirRifle. Bulls eyes are the common not the exception. Having tried many different pellets, these are my favorite and suggest if your looking for what shoots best in your AirRifles, give these a try.
