Air Venturi Tank Adapter Assembly Reviews

The bleeder valve is bad and there are plenty of reviews that say this exact thing so its not user error. I have had two that didnt last a farting spell. I understand that a lot of folks have got ones that work, but two in a row have not for me. Its a fair amount of money so fix it if your gonna sell it.

If your a lucky individual then buy it if not Id look elsewhere.

Worked very well. Just as expected. The tank I have has a meter on it, so this connector was perfect. Only had to hand tighten the nut to my bottle. No leaks

Include just a little instruction regarding the release valve. I feel it is overpriced. Should be in the area of $50 or so.

Shut the release valve before connecting to gun. I am finding that I am losing VERY little air when opening the release valve. Like that.

It works very well at pressures below 3000psi

At about 3000psi air starts to seep around the O-ring getting worse as the pressure increases. I don't really know if the problem is as simple as a damaged O-ring but since there were no extra O-rings provided I won't know until I am able to swap the current O-ring. It would be better if the hose was longer.

I bought this product about 4yrs ago. I didn't use it but a few times because the only pcp I had was the Sumatra 2500 & I tethered it to a tank using a external regulator. I recently bought another pcp that can take a 250 bar fill & the regulator doesn't regulate that high so I pulled this out to fill it with a 4500 psi tank.After one fill the hose leaked air from the relief valve & when I tried to close it it just spins back to a open position. I called pyramid air & the guy I reached was very argumentative. I asked if there was a fix from this known problem & he told me that he'd never heard of this issue & that thousands of these have been sold. I told him of at lease 3 reviewers on their own site that had this issue.He continued to argue that thousands of others don't have a problem but only 3 on their review page & I informed him only 26 people reviewed it. He argued more then hung up on me. I will continue this review, I only hope they will post it.

Not much. The first one was inconsistent as to where to position dial to release air. Air Venturi was very acomodating in replacing assembly. The new one is not much better. Pyramid does not seem to have a better alternative to buy. I will probably use this assembly on a secondary tank and look for a more user friendly one in future.

The bleed valve is not a good design. When filling the gun and filling the tank, several adjustments are needed to tighten it up to stop the leaks. The last valve only lasted 18 months of light use before failing altogether. The replacement looks identical. Fingers crossed this has more longevity

I have had nothing but success with the Air Venturi Tank Adapter, the first time I hooked it up to my 4500 psi SCBA carbon fiber tank I put a test plug from my hand pump and a pressure gauge to test pressure as well as seal, once I figured out how to adjust the bleed valve, hooked it to my Airforce Condor and filled the tank, no problems with this one...

It's my understanding that this is only for the 4500 psi SCBA air tanks, not the lower pressure tanks, my tank is a used SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) rated at 4500 psi that I picked up from my local Fire Department.. When you Close the Bleed Valve you push it into the tank as you twist it, there is no stopping point so just snug it down, once you do it a few times it's really simple... Don't forget to shut off your air before you bleed the line and then disconnect from your air gun tank...
