Things I liked:

Value-oriented gun. Hard to ding it for ANYTHING based on the price-to-quality ratio. Rifled barrel = very good accuracy at 25 feet (length of my basement range). I only use pellets -- read on another site that use of BB's in a rifled barrel will reduce life span. And yes, I do get an occasional jam, which is typically due to a loose-fitting pellet in the mag. It's a quick fix, and in my opinion doesn't warrant knocking a star -- or two -- off the rating. And I would agree that the double action pull takes some getting use to. But it's not intolerable, and when you can use single action, why worry about it? I'm slightly amused by those people that buy an air gun to try and simulate (for practice purposes) the actual weapon, and then give 1 star because it didn't do the job. C'mon, this gun can be purchased for as little as 40 bucks -- try and get a new M&P 45 ACP for under 600 bucks. Factor in the cost of operating the powder burner, and I don't know how anyone can complain.

Things I would have changed:

Thumb screw for CO2 loading could be metal.

Things I liked:

Looks like an M&P

Things I would have changed:

On 2cd CO2 cartridge, can't get it to seal, CO2 leaks out in minutes. When changing to a new cartridge to try it again, backstrap fell off. Still can't get cartridge to seal. Junk.

What others should know:

Mine is junk.

    Things I liked:

Everything. I wish Umarex would make more pistol replicas that utilize that reliable 8 shot clip. Solid polymer slide/frame, metal internals, metal 'slide' release/safety/trigger. Not quite a tack driver at 10 yards but pretty close, for the price I've got zero complaints.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have liked a co2 mag like the Umarex cp99, that would let me toss a grip sleeve on.

    What others should know:

Do yourself a favor and pick up a cheap rear sight red dot plate and a red dot sight. You can go as cheap as you feel, it doesn't need to hold up to any recoil. I use the UTG RDM20 plate and a Pinty dot. Remove the grub screw on the rear sight, it slides out, slide the plate in and you're ready to go.

    Things I liked:

Accurate representation of the M&P 45. Able to use UTG RDM20 mounting plate to put a red dot on the thing. Trigger is actually pretty good, with two distinct stages, the first where it's rotating the cylinder with the pellets, and a very crisp second stage break when it fires. As with any CO2 powered gun, the power does drop off pretty fast, especially when firing rapidly, but I am able to get around 96 shots off and maintain 8 shot, 1" to 1.5" groups at 25ft with cheap Crosman 7.4grn pellets before things start spreading out more.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better CO2 cartridge loading system.

    What others should know:

As I am putting red dot sights on many of my firearms these days, I bought this as a pellet pistol to mount a cheap one and get more practice in. First setup was just sticking a Pinty pistol red dot on the flat top with double stick tape, but I found that the UTG mounting plate that is made for the firearm version which also works with the Pinty as it is setup like a Vortex for mounting.

    Things I liked:

I like that this gun has a similar trigger pull as my little .380 bodyguard. I like that it has the capability of using pellets and bb's. It is very accurate. It is a very fun and affordable way to practice.

    Things I would have changed:

It looks like the price of an additional mag for it is very expensive in comparison to the price of the gun.

    What others should know:

This is my second gun. If I had not contacted pyramid air when the first one had an issue, my review would have been much different. From the start, the first one had a very hard trigger. I thought that's how it should be. Then it got harder, and eventually wouldn't shoot unless you cocked it first. They gladly replaced it. The 2nd one is a total joy! Keep in mind, it should have a very long trigger pull, but shouldn't be too hard. If it does, you may have gotten a faulty one. Before giving the gun a bad review, contact pyramid air. They are wonderful to work with.

    Things I liked:

This is a close replica of the real fire arm. The single action and double action are nice features and the eighty or so shots per co2 cylinder are useful. The removable rear sight allowed for the installation of a dovetail red dot mount and sight. Also appreciate the picatinny rail for inclusion of a laser sight as illustrated in the included photo. Reasonably accurate with wadcutter ammo out to 30 feet. Though not a target pistol, it's good on soda cans and knock down targets.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price of this one, I can't fault it, it's a fun shooter that gives a sufficient number of shots and hits the target 95 percent of the time. It's also customizable.

    What others should know:

Spent about $100 for the red dot mount and sight and this included the green rechargeable laser also. The pistol shoots well with open sights if you're not inclined to upgrading. You can also pick up a S&W M&P carry case for less than $25 to complete the set.

    Things I liked:

Perfect for my needs to get a micro red dot onto a pellet gun for practice. Given that it's now a blowback and has a flat top, was able to mount a cheap optic to it with double stick tape. Total cost of the gun and optic is actually under what I would spend in ammo these days on a typical range day.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish it had the CO2 loading system of the Umarex M1911 A1. The double action trigger is a little on the heavy side but at least its consistent.

    What others should know:

Never bothered shooting it with the iron sights.

    Things I liked:

very well made. Most accurate of this type, 5/8 inch group, 50 shots at 20 feet. Gets 100 shots per cylinder. Great 3 lb trigger. I will order another one. Very happy with this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Became impossible to open the action after 200 shots. Simple solution to the problem was to bevel the locking lugs that allows better opening. removing the barrel screw and front slide gave easy access to the locking lugs .Magazine causes cocking to be a little hard as the magazine rotates into position while cocking the single action feature. Magazine sprockets need to be a little more pronounced. The gun breaks in after a while and becomes easier to cock. no further adjustments made this a perfect gun.

    What others should know:

    Get one or two.

    Things I liked:

Where do you start. First of all it's an excellent training pistol (for both ladies and men) when you can't always make it to the range. The wife likes it because it reminds her of her Shield. Good weight to the M&P 45, with the metal slide, great balance and grips also. Really enjoy the CO2 loading system. Simply load, twist and click shut. No removing grips, grip plates or anything. Quite realistic too. Easy loading, Excellent safety. Plus no obtrusive white lettering all over the pistol. Highly recommend for all weather training.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at this time

    Things I liked:

I like the look, weight and feel and the yellow dot sights (highly visible). Like that it so closely resembles the firearm. Like the 8-shot rotary magazine and I bought 9 in addition to the 3 included. I like being able to fire multiple pellets without reloading right away like I have to with my single shot pellet pistols (which is why I bought this). I like the rifled barrel and fairly good accuracy from 30 feet, getting 2 to 3-inch groups pretty consistently with frequent "bulls eyes" (7.4 gr Crosman wad cutters). Easy to load the CO2 and rotary magazines. Convenient to operate the safety. I like that I can make it single action by cocking it each time before I fire - much easier trigger pull than double action. Got this idea from the Pyramyd experts - it's not in the manual. I appreciate the 10 for 10 Pyramyd service to ensure that I got a working pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

Have the pistol and accessories all come in a sturdy box rather than a blister pack.

    What others should know:

I get about 100 powerful shots with 1 CO2 cartridge (Umarex cartridge) at 70 degrees F. Buy at least 9 additional rotary pellet magazines. You are likely to use 12 or more during a shooting session. Follow the Umarex suggestion to only use wad cutter pellets or domed pellets, not pointed pellets because they can jam when they extend beyond the rotary magazine. I won't shoot BBs because I don't want to destroy the rifling in the barrel.

    Things I liked:

The gun is beautiful. I like the feel, the sights, and the ease of magazine loading. The trigger pull is hard, but as a woman of the 80s, I had a Taurus Model 66 .357 magnums as my service revolver, and THAT was a hard trigger pull. That said, the trigger pull doesn't bother me.

    Things I would have changed:

I've read many comments on the CO2 loading mechanism being plastic. I, personally, would prefer a metal catridge-loading mechanism. As easy as the magazine loading is, the falling out of the magazine is unfortunately easier. I'm not certain what can be done to remedy that one minor problem, except for positioning the pistol in a way where the magazine won't fall out. Thank you.

    What others should know:

The magazine falls out easily IF you're not careful. As I load the magazine, I hold the pistol upright (logical, yes?). As I click the barrel back, I tilt the pistol back, and it locks just fine. Please don't be too harsh with this gun. Nothing, and nobody is perfect. It is not THE firearm, so there will be issues. Pyramyd has excellent customer service, and they WILL help you when you call. Thank you.

Very realistic back windage being adjustable is good safety works great sights are good

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger pull is very hard does not have to be that stiff co2 piercing knob being made out of plastic there is more than a little seepage of co2 when tightening piercing screw. I have a gamo pistol that the piercing knob is made out of metal and no co2 leaks out when tightening cylinders that system is made very cheaply wish I would have done a little more research before I had made my decision I was trying to match my m&p 9 mm

    What others should know:

Just what I wrote above and maybe spend a little more research or money on purchase

    Things I liked:

I really like the feel of this gun. It is the same size as the firearm and feels good in the hand. The accuracy of this gun is excellent and I was surprised I could get 1 inch groups at 15 feet. The gun is actually more accurate than me. Also liked the 3 dot sights, which are yellow but are very easy to acquire.

    Things I would have changed:

I would prefer an all metal piercing tab, the plastic tab is a bit of a struggle for my old hands. I would like a smoother double action trigger pull, however, its okay for a $65 gun.

    What others should know:

The single action trigger pull is crisp and makes for excellent accuracy. The double action trigger pull is rather heavy. I did discover that the double action trigger pull was slightly better if the pellets are seated in the rotary magazine with a pellet seater. The gun is not pellet picky. I got very good groups with Wadcutter, domed and hollow point pellets. Using Umarex CO2 canisters I got 152 shots, but with Crosman CO2 canisters I got only 68 shots. I also had 2 Crosman CO2 canisters that would not seal and leaked out all the gas. I highly recommend using Umarex CO2 and avoid Crosman CO2. I have shot about 1,000 rounds through this gun and I am extremely happy with it. I recommend this gun for a fun plinker.

    Things I liked:

I like that it's SA and DA or revolver/fake semi-auto or whatever. I like that it's not blow back as I want the CO2 just launching pellets - although in a airgun of this type there's some blow-by/loss. I like that the barrel is rifled so I will choose pellets every time over BBs. I like the rear sight is adjustable and that the sights are good enough that I'm able to produce 1"-1.5" groups of 5 at 50' often. Blasting small cans at out to 50'-60' is no problem. Figure 8 eight shot mags per CO2 - maybe 6 on a day in the 60s F. temps.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd have $300 versions made in .22 with say 3" more of quality bbl, refined trigger, refined tuned performance valve and sealing. 20 shot belt looped mag fed launching 14.3 gr. pellets at 400 fps MV on a 80s F. temp day. I'm being reasonable :-)

    What others should know:

I use the short bent end of a small Allen wrench to press the pellets just in flush or so. I've gotten pretty good and fairly quick at it. Some smaller dombed and pointed pellets will work/fit. With CO2 bulb/cartridge in and ready to twist knob to pierce hold pistol with butt down and quickly twist knob snug then back off quarter turn or so. If that floppy knob slips your fingers you may end up dumping the CO2 charge - that's no fun! The slight backing out is to improve flow from bulb/cartridge. A dab on oil on the nipple of every 3 or 4 CO2s will keep the 'smith' away. LOL
