Things I liked:

This is a hard hitting pellet due in part to its increase in velocity and shape retention. I use it in my S & W 686 and it zips through 2 tin cans with authority.

Things I would have changed:

The packaging is not user friendly, if no careful one could easily spill the entire packet contents onto the floor.

What others should know:

Be aware of ricochets as this alloy holds its shape, wear safety glasses always.

Things I liked:

They're "pretty" in their 100-lot holder system package

Things I would have changed:

Make them accurate! Using an Air Arms Xtra FAC Superlight S510 PCP Rifle; Benjamin Regal Nitro Piston Rifle...couldn't get either one to hit the center of the targets (Gamo regulation 50 yard 5.25" x 5.75", 100-ft "Light Rifle" NRA Official target), or even come close! They were all over the place, even after multiple attempts at scope adjustments...it just didn't matter, the rifles did NOT like these pellets!

What others should know:

Expensive little jobs for so little response, and zero accuracy! I would not waste my time with these if I could be so bold to give my recommendation based on my own experience with two very high quality, maintained immaculately PCP and Nitro Piston rifles. If there were some redeeming factor to my purchase I'd give it right here, but there was not: I wasted $10 on these!

    Things I liked:

Its good to have a harder metal than lead for penetration, especially if you are shooting an air gun with muzzle velocity below around 800 fps.

    Things I would have changed:

However, these are too low mass ( grains) and too pricey to be a good choice for my replica pistols

    What others should know:

Mass helps in accuracy, carry and muzzle energy

    Things I liked:

Hyper is right: hyper speed, hyper consistent, hyper consistency. Trajectory is hyper flat with hyper accuracy shot from my modified 1377 at all power levels and distances. They have jewelry quality aesthetics. Superb lead-free pellet!

    Things I would have changed:

Cost. The high quality is easily observable, so I am totally sure the manufacturer is charging a fair price. Even so, I can't afford to shoot a lot of these at $0.10/pellet.

    What others should know:

Using my FX Pocket Chronograph, I measured ~850FPS avg (>8FPE) at 65F out of my modified 1377 with a LW 14.6" match barrel, an upgraded valve, port, and spring and an ungodly quantity of pumps. For comparison, the Predator GTO 6.79gr achieved ~700 FPS avg (>7FPE) at the same #of pumps. The HyperMax simply rip through hard targets like nothing else I've seen! It frightens me to think what they would do in a high powered PCP... If you want to splurge and try out some excellent pellets, go for it, and invest the $10.00!

    Things I liked:

These pellets are all very consistent in size with respect to each other , they're like match grade in my opinion. And to be individually placed in little pockets , preventing damage to each other is a plus.

    Things I would have changed:

I own a GAMO Quiet Cat break barrel rifle , and in my case these pellets are a bit loose. They even tend to slide down the barrel before I even pull the trigger. Maybe the manufacturer honed the barrel out 0.0005 in. too much ??

    What others should know:

For those of us that reside in California , I'm glad these pellets are "lead free" .

Very clean, nice, I really like the packaging, no deformed pellets, very sharp. I like how pellets are easy to grab and that you can stack multiple packages of them.

    Things I would have changed:

    Mostly price and pellet count

    What others should know:

I fired these in my modified Crosman 1377. I get very good accuracy with these and very good penetration. In my penetration tests into blocks of soap these had similar performance as crosman hollow points. These will work for short range small game. I shot a rat at 15 yards through its nose and out the back of its head.

Great ammo to see what FPS your air gun can really do.

    Things I would have changed:

    Heavier weight choices

    What others should know:

This is not for everyday shooting . They are loud. If your rifle or pistol does 900 fps on leads. They will go super sonic . Very fast, very loud. But if you have friends that say air is a joke. Touch one of these off and they will change mind.

    Things I liked:

These pellets are a bit pricey, but their accuracy in my Crosman Vigilante (CO2 pistol) makes up for that. From a bench rest I shot Crosman Premier Match 7.9grains, and Crosman Penetrators through my Vigilante as well for comparison sake and the HyperMAX grouped the best. If you like to target shoot tight groups and you can afford them these are great pellets. I like the packaging as well.

    Things I would have changed:

They are the most expensive lead free pellets out there, I'd like to see the price come down a bit, but not at the expense of quality.

    What others should know:

Judging from the comments by air rifle shooters about sound barrier crack, etc. these pellets probably work best in low power guns (600fps velocity) like CO2 pistols/rifles, within a thirty foot range. Alternatively, I found the RWS MeisterKugeln 7.0grain lead pellets (@ 03 cents each) are just as accurate as the HyperMAX alloy pellets( @ 10 cents each). I've tried a variety of pellets in my pistols, and RWS has my vote hands down, with JSB in a close second place.

    Things I liked:

I find these pellets are perfect for use in my Walther CP88 (4" and 6" barrels) and my Baretta 92FS. Even though Umarex does not advise using pointed pellets in these two handguns, I find the length of the HyperMax pellets is a perfect fit into the alloy magazines. Never a jam. Plus, with CO2 pistols, which are not extremely powerful, the penetration from these pellets is great. In tests I find HyperMaxx pellets, used in these handguns, can penetrate steel soup cans and thick plastic containers where dome pellets cannot. The packaging, as others have said, is also wonderful and protective.

    Things I would have changed:

A bit high priced, in my opinion.

    What others should know:

Be cautious as some .177 pistols do not like these pellets. My Beeman P3 and P17 pistols do not work well with the Hypermax. They jam every time I attempted to use them. Also, these pellets do not work particularly well with powerful .177 rifles.

    Things I liked:

Packaging is outstanding. all hold there shape perfectly. The alloy they are made of is extremely hard. A perfect pellet for my Gamo MP-9 and P-25 Co2. Accurate with lower velocities. However when fired through my Gamo Whisper Fusion Elite with 1300 fps it sounded really cool but lost accuracy at such a high speed. As I expected

    Things I would have changed:

I would offer a stacked package with 200 count but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Perfect for anything less than 850fps

    What others should know:

I would not recommend this for a air gun with a velocity greater than 850fps

    Things I liked:

great match grade quality pellet, if used at the right speed and distance

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

info about light pellets is they are for close range and like all pellets you must keep them subsonic, they have match grade accuracy if they are used for the right speed and distance, if you have a magnum air rifle or shooting long range you have the wrong understanding of pellets, light pellets are not for long range, as a matter of fact your heavy pellets will get out to long range quicker and have more speed and triple the energy, light pellets are a short burst of flat trajectory and have speed for a very short time then it rapidly dies off, a heavy pellet at long ranges will be going faster and arrive at the target quicker, this is due to the fact that heavy pellets retain velocity better, it a myth that ultralight pellets get to long distance targets quicker, they only get to the short distances quicker in a race, long distance heavy pellets are able to retain more speed, energy and accuracy, like a ping pong ball lightning fast for a short distance, so it is with light pellets

    Things I liked:

Precession made very sharp tip, and stronger skirt for maximum seal all throughout the length of the barrel minimizing pressure loss as with thin, soft skirt cheap pellets. Very accurate when used in the proper gun ie. RWS Model 52 and up higher speed rifles. I've tried sever other pellets than the coated RWS models only to find terrible lead fouling in the barrel and my nasty fingers handling them. Also the accuracy got worse and worse as you used them because of nasty barrels. These fire witch a crack sound like a 22LR. I expect braking the sound barrier of 1115ft/sec as soon as it leaves the barrel is the loud sound. Awesome sound when firing these.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a dang thing! These are just awesome used in an RWS Rifle. You might emphasize these are engineered for RWS Rifles and may not perform as well in other Models. Need 1100 fps + rifles using like the 8.3gr Superdome Pellet dropping to 5.2 gr HyperMax. These are only .04 grams heavier than a 177 BB, to compare to the Super-H-Point of 6.9 gr. and Superdome Max knockdown power 8.3 gr. The old saying goes, you pay for what you get emphasis on RWS over other Dime Store Rifle. I've over my life from age to have my own gun I've had 5 other so-called popular brands only to be disappointing in time.

    What others should know:

Don't use McDonalds if you want a great steak dinner. IMO use what your gun manufacturer builds or suggests for their guns. The issue of most of these reviews is Consistent shot groups on the target ie "they are scattered all over the place". My RWS Mdl 52 side cocking produces 10 rounds at 25 yards hid over with a quarter coin. Moral of the story, don't slam ammo designed for the best pellet riffle ever made in the world using a has or never been firearm. If you want to use the best ammo made in the world then shoot in the best gun

    Things I liked:

Esthetically, these pellets are very appealing, but not limited to just beauty alone. These pellets come in a single layered tray, face down, which reflects the due care and attention employed by RWS while manufacturing. Compared to other alloy pellets such as the crosman SSP, these pellets are far superior in feel, shape, and performance. They are not mailable and easily squashed. Over all performance, I would say, during usage with high power air rifles (1200 fps), I get great shot distances with relative ease compared to other alloy pellets and lead pellets. Power, weight, and performance is all adequately maintained over distances in the 30-35 meter range (100 + feet).

    Things I would have changed:

Although performance is good compared to lead pellets; I would say the one thing I would change is price. However, this could be due to the retailers sell-point price ($ 20 bucks at Cabela's in Canada).

    What others should know:

Yes, this pellet will effectively pass through 1' wood products, such as, particle/composite board (NOT MDF), within 8 meters, and nearly through 2x4 stud (1 5/8 inch penetration on 2x4 stud from within same 7-8 meters). Great pellets when fired from high powered air rifle with velocities exceeding 1200 FPS. Knock down power, power retention over greater distances, and easy to load into tight breech.
