Things I liked:

Great gun shoots smoother and is more refined than the Tx200. Nicer looking too. ( I own both guns)

Things I would have changed:

Resettable safety??

What others should know:

Cocks plenty easy for just about any guy. I will admit my daughter could not cock this gun. Why would anyone rate this gun lower than the tx200??!!! The Tx 200 should definately be rated less stars than this rifle!!

Things I liked:

Finish ad wood detail is nice.

Things I would have changed:

I receive two in row which would not go into battery after firing a dozen or so shots (wouldn't close completely). I did request to know what was wrong with them but never received a response. I have another underlever - a Hermann Weihrauch - so it''s not like I'm new to underlevers; I can't imagine this was any sort of user error.

    Things I liked:

Perfect balance, don’t notice the weight because balance is that good. I am 6’ tall with long arms and big hands. The stock is a great fit, really appreciate the fullness of both the forearm and the pistol grip. Craftsmanship is outstanding. I’m picky, and I’m loving the attention to detail in both design and build. Attractive checkering. Shallow cut, nonetheless the crisply cut edges provide reasonable grip. Black Friday pricing incentives really helped make this purchase doable. Thankful for that assist. Prompt shipping, especially considering it was Black Friday weekend. Very well packed, double boxed.

    Things I would have changed:

Walnut stock is fairly pedestrian in appearance. A nice piece of wood but straight grained, not figured as is often seen. I realize wood is variable and buying unseen is a bit of a lottery, but nonetheless disappointed. Can’t uncock. Known before purchase but still unfortunate feature is lacking. Really nit picking here. Opted for the 10 for $10 inspection. Okay for what it is, but as a result gun then also shipped fingerprinted and with slight scuff near dovetail. Wouldn’t do again for a high-end gun. Knocked a point off for this. Rifle itself is a 5 so far.

    What others should know:

Just received my new Pro Sport today so these are just very initial comments and observations. Don’t even have a scope yet as it’s on back order. Besides, now in far northern Minnesota it’s full blown winter and d__m cold outside. Will update as I go long with using the Pro Sport to make this review more helpful.

    Things I liked:

The quality, the looks and above all the accuracy. The reviews are accurate in that this rifle will consistently give you dime size groups at 35+ yards. Would I like to lug it around for hours? I suppose that depends on the day. It took a few years to decide to buy one but now I regret waiting so long. In my opinion its that good.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe try some open sights? But then again I get why it doesnt have any.

    What others should know:

Adds a whole new level of enjoyment gotten from shooting springers. It hits where its aimed.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful fit and finish (I got the walnut stock). Well-tuned from the factory. Relatively quiet. Well balanced. Open bottom at the loading port so if (when) you drop a pellet while loading the pellet falls right through. Outstanding accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

A tad on the heavy side. Small learning curve to load pellets without dropping them (especially if you have fat fingers).

    What others should know:

I don't think you'd find a better built, more accurate springer on the market.

    Things I liked:

This is a beautiful rifle and to be honest, this was the primary reason for buying it. The quality of manufacture is excellent and the general fit and finish is just stunning. The blueing is the richest I've seen on any air rifle / powder burner. The checkering on the walnut stock is just perfect and feels great in the hand. The trigger is fully adjustable should you need to, but mine arrived perfect for my taste, very distinct second stage with a crisp break at a little over 1lb pull. I'm sure the gun will be accurate, but as yet I've only put 30 or so pellets down range so its too early to say. Its not the most powerful springer on the market, but I knew that when I bought it and I'm fine with that.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have loved to have it arrive with some iron sights and as far as I can tell fitting after market ones would be difficult. For the money, it would have been nice to have it arrive in a hard case like FX do.

    What others should know:

The cocking mechanism is challenging and takes some getting used to. It takes some time to figure out the best way to hold the thing while cocking and loading and the sheer effort required to cock it was surprising. This I assume will get a little easier over time. Be aware that the action can feel like it has completed its cycle when in actual fact it hasn't. Your clue is the cocking arm will not fold back flush and you will not be able to release the safety. Simply pull down the arm and crank on it some more until you hear it engage and you are good to go.

    Things I liked:

    It's beautiful.

    Things I would have changed:

The fit and finish on my rifle is not the same as my TX200 was. This rifle was a rush build and will either require I return to Pyramyd (likely with an ETA of replacement of forever due to stock) or fix the issues myself by buying a new stock and disassembling the rifle. The cocking action is very stiff when returning the cocking arm to the stock, nothing like the review videos I've seen. Hopefully this will loosen up over time, but between the fact that the cocking arm rubs the stock when returning the to the action and the stiffness. The screw taps are roughly done and not filed to remove shavings for the screws that hold the stock to the action, and I think the mounting arm where the stock attaches to the action is either slightly crooked or the stock was improperly made...either way I expect better for an $800 rifle. My barrel was very dirty, I'm wondering if mine was used and put back in a box for resale as new instead of refurb, as it took about 8 patches with Ballistol to clean.

    What others should know:

Air Arms quality is slipping. Combine that with a recent price hike of $100 and you have a recipe for unhappy customers.

Looked good, felt like a regular rifle, excellent trigger. Only got one shot with it before it failed.

Cocker filed to return to locked position after first shot. Sending it back for warranty work since there are no more in stock. More later.

Smooth shooting - VERY Accurate - Comes perfectly tuned out-of-the-box - Great 2-Stage Trigger - Beautiful walnut stock & bluing - Relatively quiet

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing to change unless you want to change the 'perfectness' of the rifle

    What others should know:

It is a bit on the heavy side and bulky feeling, but that's what makes it what it is. It does balance nicely, though and is VERY accurate! A small 'learning curve' is needed to load the pellet, and if you have big fingers, and/or, you scope is too far forward, it makes loading a little more difficult.

    Things I liked:

I tested my walnut prosport. 22. Mounted a mint Redfield 3x9 fine crosshair scope. At 40 yards, 3 shots on Terminator 16gr went on the same gong spot, and it is windy today. So, a tack driver on hunting pellets. Yep, a dream rifle if I ever shot one.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, but shipping department better tape better. Box was open at top, and looked like it had been kicked. Luckily it was double-boxed. No damages. No flaws. It's the prettiest air rifle I ever shot in 53 years of air riflery.

    What others should know:

It is not a powerhouse spring-piston. It's a Rolls-Royce rifle. If you are a connoisseur of fine air rifles, then you will appreciate this rifle. I like 700fps on Spring-piston. I'd like 880fps better, but I have PCP rifles for power. This is a gentleman's air rifle.

    Things I liked:

She arrived in an open box at top, and a foot sized dent in the box. However, the Lord has blessed me with no damage found. I've never seen such a beautiful air rifle in my life. The wood grain on my stock is as nice as some of the prettiest models I've seen online. The blue looks like my 1961 Colt Python. That good. It is from polishing the metal out properly. Deep. Like seven coats of laquer on a hot rod. Old vintage Redfield scope blue matches rifle too. No matte finish scopes for a rifle of this quality. One piece mount. I feel very lucky today.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I'm going to zero the rifle after the wind dies down. I will elaborate on the performance at another time. It's prettier in hand than online. It is a dream rifle. Thank you Pyramid air. I know you guys are having a rough time with the scamdemic. The rifle escaped damage, and looks beautiful. I'm floored. You're the best!

    Things I liked:

I don't know whether the rifle had to be broken in, or I just had to learn how to shoot it, but not until after a thousand rounds did I begin to see accuracy that satisfied me. And after two thousand rounds the accuracy became superb, regularly yielding 1/4" (c-t-c) 5 shot groups at 35 yards. While it shoots most pellets well, I have settled on 14.3 gr Falcon pellets which also give superb accuracy in my FX Impact. Topped with an SWFA 16X42 scope it is now ready for the hunting seasons to open up. Everyone seems to rave about the fit and finish on the Pro Sport. I will agree that the finish is top shelf on both the wood and metal, the fit is just average mass-produced fair. The gun displays gaps between wood and metal around the barrel channel and uneven surfaces around the trigger guard. But then, nobody is asking custom prices for this gun. The checkering is beautiful, but too fine and uses flat top diamonds, yielding little effective increase in grip.

    Things I would have changed:

This gun needs to go on a serious diet (but then, so do I). When I first picked it up it felt like a cast iron baseball bat. The wrist is overly large and both forend and butt could stand some serious trimming. perhaps that mass in the wrist is necessary to withstand the stresses of cocking which is definitely not a job for the faint of heart. At 6' 3" and 300 pounds I certainly don't fall into the 98 pound weakling class, but the first time I cocked the gun, with the butt against my thigh, I didn't think I could manage to do it a second time. Now I accomplish the task by placing the butt on the ground, braced against the side of my left foot and using my body weight to easily depress the cocking lever. Earlier this week I managed over 400 rounds through this gun in one day, so obviously, cocking is no longer an issue. The trigger is not bad at all, but could be better; but I grew up on Anshutz's and Feinwerkbaus, so I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to triggers.

    What others should know:

No matter how many airguns you own, this rifle could be the showpiece of your collection. It has the classic rifle profile with smooth pleasing lines rather than the futuristic angles and sharp corners seen on so many other airguns. The bluing, or blacking if you will, is flawless looking, as others have described it, like black glass - truly beautiful. It is heavy, so take care in your choice of scope. One of the 34mm tubed tactical scopes with steel rings could easily raise the package weight to almost 13 pounds (I don't know what that is in stones). Bottom line - this is an elegant design which has been beautifully manufactured with high quality exhibited in every part - an airgun you can take pride in for years to come - for you and and your grandchildren. Worth every cent.

    Things I liked:

Pro Sport Fit and finish are second to none. The accuracy is excellent, 62yds with ease, JSB 14.3gr pellets. The Trigger at 1.5lbs and is two-stage. The underside cocking lever is easy to operate and allows for many shots before fatigue makes you stop shooting. The position of the loading port allows for easy loading, even with a Hawke 4-16 x50 scope. A set of SportMatch high rings are the ones to get and make use of the pinholes at the top of the receiver, stops ring slip. Get a Hawke and SportMatch high rings combo, there is about 1/4" space under the bell of the scope between the receiver. The medium rings are too short for the 50mm scope bell and will not allow for good cheek position/ stock weld due to the comb height. The 30mm tube diameter,15mm radius measurement, plus 18mm ring height, =33mm total from center of scope to the receiver. AKA: 8mm gap under the scope bell on the Pro Sport. The noise is back yard quiet, compared to my Air King loudness. Walnut stock great

    Things I would have changed:

It was hard to find out which scope and ring combo to get but the info above should help everybody. They should have suggested a ring and scope combo, for the Pro Sport, to help buyers get the correct combination and fit.

    What others should know:

Accuracy is essential and the Pro Sport is great. Not the fastest on the chronograph but ease of cocking and accuracy is the best thing about this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

stiff and slightly rough cocking effort may get better as gun breaks in.

    What others should know:

This is the 3rd Pro Sport that I have owned in my lifetime. I liked the first one so much that I bought a second one. The second was not as good as the first so I sold it. Always loved the look and balance of it over the TX. Was concerned that because this was the last one in stock when I ordered it (the walnut version) that the previous buyers may have gotten the pick of the litter and I would end up with a not so nice one, but I was wrong. Kudos to Pyramyd for the packing and delivery effort. The Stock was wonderfully figured. Being a stock maker, I rate Walnut from 1 to 5 with 5 being a exhibition grade. I would rate this about a 3 as it has figure from the butt to the end of the stock but the figure gets more subtle as it goes from the butt. The walnut was well worth the $$ upgrade. Put on a Burris 4-12 compact scope in BKL rings and zeroed it and proceeded to hit pellet sized targets at 30 yards with it.

    Things I liked:

The Accuracy Weight Balance and Power. I dont think they could have gotten it any more right for me. It is a hefty rifle but the balance is perfect. It is not hold sensitive at all and shoots almost like it is tuned rifle straight out of the box.The accuracy is excellent @ 35 yards 5 shot groups can be completely covered with a dime. The rifle shoots the H&N 14.66 @ 720 fps avg. for 16.88 ft/lbs and CHP 14.3 @ 728 fps avg. for 16.83 ft/lbs. This is after about 200 shoots. What I was amazed by was that this rifle shoots faster than my TX 200 MK lll which shoots 14.66 @ 690 . Also the shrouded barrel does a pretty good job of holding the sound to a minimum. With that said most springers are fairly loud due to the shot cycle more so than the muzzle report. But I consider it back yard friendly. Hope everyone finds this imformation helpful.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at all.

    What others should know:

I wish I had bought the Pro Sport first as I have been searching for the perfect Springer. I will be purchasing a .177 in the near future. That will bring my collection to 14.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

My ProSport is a 12 ft-Lbs version in .177 caliber, walnut stock. I purchased it last year in Europe. It is NOT a U.S. version with a 12 ft-Lbs tune kit installed. The walnut stock is beautiful and the metal bluing is deep and rich. The gun is much easier to cock than the U.S. version. I even compare it to my Diana 34 which has a much longer 19.5 cocking lever vs. my Pro Sport with a 13”, the Pro Sport is significantly easier to cock. The ease of cocking allows me to use it as an all day plinker. This is the easiest cocking spring gun I own so far. Firing cycle of the Pro Sport is a “thump”, no buzzing and no “twang” sound. So far this gun is shooting 0.25” groups at 25 yards. This gun is quiet (backyard friendly).

    Things I would have changed:

Make the gun at least half pound lighter. Make the handle of the cocking lever more comfortable.

    What others should know:

JSB Exact 8.4 grains average 755.9 fps (10.66 ft-Lbs). I can see why people like this gun. In addition to its good looks, sleek lines and a hidden under lever, it is supremely well balance, better balance than any spring air rifles Ive tried. The gun is exactly 9 Lbs but it doesn’t feel heavy like a 9 Lb gun should be, even when you are shooting in the off-hand position.
