Things I liked:

I like the fact that it is CO2 and not break barrel. I am 67 years old and have been plinking since I was a teenager but lately I have found the break barrel too strenuous at times. I also like the bolt action you can see if the pellet is going in correctly especially if your eye sight is not as good as it used to be.

Things I would have changed:

No. It's a good value for an air pistol. If I could go into my workshop I might be inclined to make a wood grip as opposed to a plastic/synthetic grip.

What others should know:

Airguns are not toys. They can inflict serious injury.

Things I liked:

Easy to cock and load. Good sights. Grips ok.

Things I would have changed:

Sight mount. With the wrench supplied it was impossible to engage the screws. I found a wrench .03mm smaller, and then it was difficult but possible. The trigger is really bad. Lots of gritty creep. Specs say adjustable from 1 to 4 pounds. I found the range to be 3 lb, 12 oz. to 6 lb. Safety may interfere with some LH shooters.

    Things I liked:

Mine was bought at an actual firearms dealer in 2005 of2004 manufacture. In .177 cal. as such it fires at 520fps for 7.4 gr pellets . It has the 10.1 inch Lothar Walther Barrel with a 6inch moderator attached for a total barrel length of 16 inches. optic is a Pinty refelex multiple rectical gunsight on a utg mount. All this with the 1399 stock atached. Insanely accurrate It can shoot better than I can hold it. It is a PEST DESTROYER. I have killed with it out to 20yrds. And it looks as radical and shoots as good as it looks. Oh and it holds a gas charge for up to 90 days. Yes it is my finest CO2 gun and has been so for 17yrs now and still goin strong. I have about $260.00 in the gun. and worth every dime!

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like to see a full powered carbine hunting version of this gun in .177cal. They have the .22's well covered.

    What others should know:

These guns are infinatly customizable. you can spend real money on them. But they are such a gas too shoot. I don't think youll be disapointed.

    Things I liked:

My 2300T has been a pleasure from the beginning. Iy is the most sparing of all my c02 guns60-80 rds per CO2 cartridge. Great sights, excellent balance, totally reliable.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

This is a target pistol, and is not powerful enough for hunting.

    Things I liked:

First of all this pistol is an absolute dream!!! It's weight and balance are beyond any co2 pistol I have ever shot. With the right pellet ( Crosman premier hollow points is what this particular pistol likes ) it is dime size accuracy with 20 shots from 35 feet away and it's truly a blast to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have maybe given it a little more power but does fine the way it is for a target pistol and other than that, For the price what more could you want?

    What others should know:

If you work on your shooting technique especially trigger squeeze this gun is very accurate you just have to be consistent and find the pellets it likes. Once you do those 2 things I think you'll love it as well.

    Things I liked:

The feel and the accuracy of this pistol are arguably the best on at this price range.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt is not crisp like the 2240 and the grips need to be shimmed in order to stay tight. But these are still not a big issue.

    What others should know:

For a little more than $200 you can't find another pistol at this quality level. I can't honestly give 5 stars for this pistol based on a comparison to the 2300s but I will give it a 4.8. based off all other pistols at this price I will give it a 5 plus right out of the box.

    Things I liked:

I own 2 2240's, one stock and one modified. The modified one has a steel breech, 14.6 " barrel, rifle stock and a hawk red dot. Love them both. I recently bought the 2300T and put a Williams peep sight on it. I like target shooting with it. I don't think that I'm going to modify it, not until it needs repair anyhow. These pistols have been around since caveman times. They work well and are well designed. They can be readily modified from mild to wild. If you don't have one of these, you should do yourself a favor and get one. I recommend the 2240.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. But you can change just about anything on these pistols if you want to.

    What others should know:

My only gripe is that the front sight is canted to the left on the 2300T. The barrel is indexed correctly so I'll have to tinker with the front sight to correct it. Fortunately it's not very far off so I'm just going to leave it for now. At longer ranges it would be a problem though.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate fun pistol to shoot. nice sights. large shot count per CO2 cylinder. Quiet.

    What others should know:

Trigger has a little creep and drag. Can be remedied. Crosman 2300's and 2400's have lots of aftermarket accessories available.

This gun is great. The trigger is nice and lite, over stop adjustable and pull weight adjustable. The sights work good. The gun shoots consistently in the same spot. I can drill a 6inch steel plate from 35yards over and over.

    Things I would have changed:

Thinner front blade sight, more power would be nice.

    What others should know:

Excellent target gun, will kill small pests but its not a rifle.

    Things I liked:

Well after shooting about half of a tin of those pellets with the little red tip on em and 4 months later this damn gun still shoots c02 thats off of 2 x 12 gram cartriges it does not leak any air not a drop I cant beleive I can just pick it up and pull the bolt back and dry fire randomly and its still shooting co2, An this gun is super accurate it beats any other gun ive had, although the mp40 bb gun that shoots semi and full auto is a extreamly accurate gun as well but it ran out of air after 2 weeks and i barly shot like 3 magazines worth. if you want a tarhet gun get this crossman 2300t it can also chang to a .22 barel and has a but stock option thats what i will be doing to it in the future with a little pistol scope as this is picatinny rail compadable attachment gruves on the breach, yeah if you thinking of purchasing one dont think. just fuckin buy one

    Things I would have changed:

I think i saw the option to attach a magazine to the gun cold have been something else but yeah make this a semi auto then its the best gun for target non fire arm that has ever been on the market

    Things I liked:

    Barrel length over 2240.

    Things I would have changed:

More power to reach out to targets. Low power makes shooting at any distance harder to accomplish; underpowered.

    What others should know:

Better length of barrel does not equate to better distance and accuracy.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy is unbelievable, im literally stacking pellets. The overall look of this gun is very nice, better than i expected. The sights that come with it are really nice, too

    Things I would have changed:

Add a muzzle brake, and the hand grips,

    What others should know:

Because my eyes are not what they use to be, i added a red dot sight ,works very very good, also polished the seer and trigger, a must to remove that crunchy feel when pulling trigger, added a .042 spring in hammer as well, definitely woke this gun up, nice POP ! Change out that trigger spring for a lighter one, these same mods i have on my 2240, a trick i did to both, i removed both hand grips and filled the back side with rtv, adds a little weight and makes them feel solid, takes that hollow feel away.

Difficult to load wadcutters. I called Crosman and they said that some people do have trouble with loading. They did give some tips and suggested using pointed pellets.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, good looking, balances well in hand, well made (one of Crosman's best), click adjustable sights, adjustable trigger pull, ambidextrous grips, easy to use, and a bargain at the price. On a warm day, it seems to shoot forever on a CO2 cartridge.

    Things I would have changed:

Too much trigger creep. I normally don't mind creepy triggers, but this one has too much and it's rough. Grips could be fatter for my big hands.

    What others should know:

I shoot both left and right handed so the ambidextrous plastic grips work well, just wish they were more hand-filling. Accuracy is a little wild right after a new CO2 cartridge is installed; gun settles down after 8 or 10 shots. I normally target shoot at 50 ft. Accuracy seems to improve the more you shoot it...or maybe that's just me.
