Things I liked:

This is a weighty pellet that is a good value for your dollar. It groups just as well as the Winchester Round Nose and the price can't be beat. Offers a consistent and snug fit in the breach. I haven't had issues with any falling through the barrel. If anything, they need a bit of a push to seat properly.

Things I would have changed:

They can be a bit dirty and given the shape of their head they can be a bit more difficult to load (than say a round or pointed nose) on guns with a snug breach but that's more an FYI than a deterrent.

What others should know:

These are great pellets for the Beeman P-17 (one of my favorites for this gun), Gamo Swarm and Daisy 880. Given the head shape, they aren't as easy to feed into the Beeman as a round head but they are a bit easier than a wadcutter. They can hang up a bit when fed into the Swarm magazine but nothing that a little wiggle won't fix. Very pleased with the consistency of the groupings on all guns from 5-25m.

Things I liked:

They shoot fine.

Things I would have changed:

Label the actual weight.

What others should know:

I weighed 10 of these on a lab scale accurate to 0.01 grain and they were all between 7.5 and 7.6 grain, nowhere on the tin or package do they state a weight, makes me suspect all Winchester pellets are not the claimed weight? I checked several other brands, JSB, Crosman, etc, and all were exactly the claimed weight.

    Things I liked:

Great value for a tin of lightweight hollow points. I like the lid screws on. Decent accuracy with my trusty daisy 880

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing, they are fine

    What others should know:

Use a pellet pen for ease

    Things I liked:

They shoot pretty well for budget pellets

    Things I would have changed:

Weight marking on the tin would be nice, also less flashing on the skirts

    What others should know:

Like Richard's review, when I scaled my tin of pellets they averaged about 7.65 grains. There's a lot of pellets with flashing on the skirts, though none were bent, and all seemed to have a reasonably consistent shape. The best group I obtained was 7/8", about par for my 1077 rifle, but it wasn't consistent; the next clip of 12 shot 1.5"; the best I got from my 1377 pumper was 1". Clear 90 degree day, light breeze, 50', benchrest, 3" Birchwood Casey Shoot'N'C, BSA red dot on 1077, iron peep on unmodified 1377 with shoulder stock. Good for plinking at tin cans or frightening geckos and 'bird' spiders.

    Things I liked:

Price is good, very uniform, no bent skirts or dinged heads.

    What others should know:

They shoot fine, about "normal" groups. Nothing great, nothing bad. However they are NOT 9.5gr, I weighed 20 of them and they average 7.7 to 7.9gr on my calibrated reloading scale. The weight is not listed anywhere on the tin, nor anywhere else online.

    Things I liked:

Definitely the cost at $5.99 for a tin of 500. Screw on top. Shallow depth of the skirt, similar to Crosman Premiers. Accuracy, consistency, and velocity when shot with my Crosman .177 Nitro Venom.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

On testing this pellet for accuracy and velocity, thru my Crosman Nitro Venom, I was very impressed. Both this Winchester HP and Winchester Dome performed equally, this pellet was .05 grains lighter than the dome. In fact, testing this HP against the Dome, I did not have to make any sight or scope adjustments, they were equal, it is a toss up. I shot this at a 2 inch Birchwood Casey stick on target as I did the Dome. No fliers or damaged pellets. The distance was 80 feet, temperature was 68 degrees, altitude was 50 feet above sea level. Chronographed across my ProChrono Digital was: 897, 894, 895, 875, and 890 fps, averaging 890.2 fps I do recommend this pellet. I will certainly purchase the pellet again. This pellet also performed well my other breakbarrel rifles. Get a chronograph. Woodys World.

Great price, perfect for my single shot, break barrel rifle that I also got from Pyramyd Air. It is my go to varmint rifle, much quieter than my 22 rifle.

    Things I liked:

Price and quantity of pellets. Seem fairly accurate. At $5.99 a tin, makes good target ammo too.

    Things I would have changed:

Cleaner ammo. This stuff is a bit on the dirty side.

    Things I liked:

I use 3 of this brand, pointed, domed and hollowpoint. All of them work very well in my airguns. The most accurate in my pest removal rifle are the hollowpoints. The bore of this gun is .176". I measure one tin at a time and set all of the .176" head dia. aside for hunting. The others are used in my can busting guns. I no longer have any flyers while shooting at 100 ft. with the sized pellets. The range of these measure .170" to .180". Most come in at .176".

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, they are very good quality overall and at a great price.

    What others should know:

I am new to airgunning at a very old age. I have learned much in the last 5 years and have much more to learn. P. A. has a very helpful person in Mr. Tom Gaylord. Read his stories and learn. This a great sport for both the young and old. Always be safe and "good shooting".

    Things I liked:

Accuracy for the price. These are heavier than a standard pellet but not too heavy to require a high fps gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Dirty pellet, lots of lead shavings in the tin.

    What others should know:

Try the Winchester line of pellets as they are severely underrated. The Hollow Point and Round nose pellets are great shooters. The accuracy of these pellets are on par with other brands that cost more and have less pellets per tin. I shot a 1/2 inch, 10 shot group at 15 yds disregarding a few flyers with my QB Chief. The extra weight versus standard the 8.5 grain or less pellet should perform quite well on small game. Only the H&N Baracuda Hunter/Hunter Extreme hollow points shot better. BUT remember they cost twice as much, have less pellets per tin, plus shipping because you can't purchase them locally at big box or sporting good stores. Seriously give them a try.

    Things I liked:

I primarily bought this 9.75 grain Hollowpoint pellet for my Ruger Air Magnum air rifle which will shoot this pellet well over 1000 fps very accurately with devastating hitting power. It is also equally accurate in the other three air rifles, which are also used in evaluating and reviewing this pellet. This will be one of my go-to pellets when a shot needs to be taken. It loads in the breech, in my opinion, snuggly without a lot of effort. Pyramydair's price for a tin of 500 is unbeatable. This pellet is a joy to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I tested this pellet for review for accuracy and velocity with four different air rifles. I shot five shot strings each at a 12"x12" target with a 1" bullseye 70' feet away. For velocity I shot them over my Competition Electronics Digital Prochrono with the following results: Gamo Hunter "220" averaged 707 fps with a low of 693 fps and a high of 721 fps with an extreme spread of 28 fps. Beeman RS2 Silver Kodiak averaged 767 fps with a low of 737 fps and a high of 783 fps with an extreme spread of 46 fps. Gamo Big Cat 1250 averaged 753 fps with a low of 744 fps and a high of 760 fps with an extreme spread of 16 fps. Ruger Air Magnum averaged 1029 fps with a low of 1023 fps and a high of 1037 fps with an extreme spread of 14fps. Excellent performer, in my opinion.

these pellets performed well out of my ruger airhawk, as well as my lower powered guns, printing good groups at 10 and 20 yards. The low price makes them good for plinking and the heavy weight seems to give them a little more knockdown power.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

not the best pellets, but considering the price they are hard to beat.
