Things I liked:

It has a nice design. I like the simulated bullets.

Things I would have changed:

The plastic for the grip is cheap and cracks too easily. I wish it came with the tool needed to mount the rail. It is a pain trying to aim with the iron sights.

What others should know:

Do not drop this gun. It breaks too easily.

    Things I liked:

Fantastic feel, solid construction, great range and very accurate. It fires both BBs and pellets and you can get so many shots out of one CO2 capsule that i lose count. The iron sights are easy to see and the rail on top is perfect for scopes, I also love that you can move the rail around or even take it off if you don't want it. I put an ACOG style scope on it and replaced the grip with a real wood one and now it might be my favourite airgun in my collection. Im surprised at the price for how amazing it is. More than worth every cent.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe an under barrel rail? but honestly it doesn't need it so nothing.

    What others should know:

Don't buy it. If mine ever breaks i'll want to buy another and I don't want them to be sold out. :)

    Things I liked:

The pistol is Quite impressive.. Very realistic, great heft to it. Very accurate, especially firing single action style... Double action firi g has tendancy to pull upwards.

    Things I would have changed:

Problem.... The cylinder mount where it attackes to frame is quite loose on mune, and that keeps cylinder from rotatin... If I push in on the ejector rod it works fine, solution? Where the ejector rod goes thru the frame, there should be a harder metal bushing, if I knew of a gunsmith, it would be an easy fix, but as is???? The gun IS a waiste of money, due to that one weak point.

    What others should know:

Dont purchase this gun if you plan to do alot of shooting with it.... Sorry, as nice as it is, it pains me to say this... The frame is too soft of a metal.

    Things I liked:

Long barrel, Picatinny rail, adjustable sights and loading shells.

    Things I would have changed:

To be more accurate, since it has a long barrel.

    What others should know:

I was expecting a better accuracy based on the reviews I read about. However, after 60 shots on target at 24-25 feet, using Feyachi 4 MOA Red Dot with resting grip and gun, only 37% of shots were inside the 1.5" bullseye (Point of aim in the middle of bullseye), 58% made 1.5" group and 20% were outside the 3" circle. Maximum of 72 shots per CO2 to keep a reasonable accuracy at 78 F.

    Things I liked:

Excellent replica of the "real steel" version, very good "fit and finish", realistic cartridges and loading. Easy on CO2

    Things I would have changed:

The hand grip could be more realistic and have a more secure closure system.

    What others should know:

This is a very accurate replica, with nice weight, great feel in the hand , and very accurate. Highly recommended!

    Things I liked:

    Accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

The speed loader doesn't work and the rail mount for a red dot has to be mounted after the gun arrives. You can only have it set up for either iron sights or the optic rail can be on but not both like the earlier models.

    What others should know:

I have an older one of these when it was a Black Opps brand and it it much better. It also has scope rail already mounted that can be used as iron sighted as is without mounting optics. It was a much better system then than now before they switched over to Dan Wesson name and "improved" it. Sure would like to know why they did that.

    Things I liked:

Almost everything but mainly the accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

When the c02 cartridge is installed it lets out a whoosh of gas and the speed loader I got with it hits the cylinder and makes it pretty much useless.

    What others should know:

This gun is very fun to shoot, even without the "speed" loaders. Even losing the whoosh of air I get about 50 shots out of the c02 cartridge.

    Things I liked:

I'm new to airgun shooting. I wanted a BB pistol that was accurate and fun to shoot, like my Daisy CO2 200 was. This gun fits my needs. Very accurate, less expensive to shoot than my 357. I don't find the weight of the 8" too difficult to manage, even after several hundred shots. And it is easier to aim with the adjustable sights on the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The speed loader doesn't fit well, but works adequately. I have two, and they both work the same.

    What others should know:

Grab the grip near the base to open it for the CO2 cartridge access. Otherwise it is more of a struggle. Also, make sure the CO2 cartridge snaps into the grip space before screwing it in. I lost a cartridge by not doing that. Also, make sure the BB's snap into the cartridge. Get more than 6 cartridges. I bought 12 initially and am buying more now. This is a great fun gun!

    Things I would have changed:

The barrel has some play in it which I soved by removing the pins and spreading the and reinstalling.

    What others should know:

The bullets that hols the bbs ware down with use buy extras and I found steel bbs work the the best. Look up mods on you tube for this gun it is worth it

    Things I liked:

Looks good, feels good in my hand, color is gray, not black, but I like it, speedloader works well, pretty accurate at 20 feet indoors, rail holds a red dot.

    Things I would have changed:

The cylinder is a bit wobbly and it moves around too much. Not sure how to fix it. The hammer also is not solid. That being said, they work fine. Trigger is heavy, but OK, a nice break. A lighter trigger would be really good on this gun.

    What others should know:

I have three of these pistols. The Dan Wesson 6" silver, and the 8" 'black', are functionally very close. I'd have to say the 8" is a bit more accurate because of barrel length but it is more muzzle heavy. I use a rest for the 8" because it's tiring without one. For $90-$120 dollars these guns are really beautiful. My third for comparison sake is a Smith & Wesson true black 327 TRR8 and that is my favorite. It shoots the best, looks great, and feels great in my hand. The construction of the 327 seems to have more integrity than the Wessons. All three are essentially the same gun which you probably know if you are shopping for one. This 8" and the 6" tie for second place, still good.

    Things I would have changed:

Well the only gripes are the pistol grips the move when shooting just a little higher manufacturing tolerance.

    What others should know:

yes shoot the stuffing outthe D.wesson revolver b/4 30days. Check for cycling with cylinder to hammer miss firing, check pic up pinns gears for slop. by lots of BBS and Co2 .other wise their good to go i owen the real deal s&w 686 7shot 357magnum.close but no gigar lol.

I liked the overall heft and feel of this pistol. It is close to the real DW in .357 mag that I have.

    Things I would have changed:

This is only my first revolver with the shells. At this time nothing as I've only shot it about 35 times being the weather cold and snowy.

    What others should know:

I loaded the bb's right in the carriage using the tip of an old ballpoint pen, works great.Mine seems really quiet,I expected it to be loud.My wife thought I bought another one until I showed her the shells.

The heft and feel. The accuracy. The Accuracy! The loading mechanism. The low co2 consumption. The fully adjustable rear sights. The number of shots per co2 cartridge.

    Things I would have changed:

Great gun at a reasonable price.

    What others should know:

If you like dotting eyes with a co2 repeating pistol, you will enjoy shooting this gun. Because the reloading slows the cooling of and consumption of co2, you get lots of shots from a cartridge.

    Things I liked:

Fit and finish are excellent. Realistic weight and appearance! Accuracy is pretty good after about 400 rounds and switching to Daisy premium BB's from copperheads. I'm able to put up a 3/4" grouping at 20' semi-rested SA trigger. FPS is good and a CO2 cartridge get's me about 120+ shots. Speed loader works great, just load the shells and dip them in a tin of BB's or a plastic bad full on a hard surface makes loading quick and simple.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic grip looseness can be distracting at times, pretty much only when you are handling the gun and not shooting so maybe a more secure locking. Everything else is great on this gun!

    What others should know:

I got the 8" black because the 6" silver was not in stock but don't regret my purchase at all. Love the FPS and the weight. Very accurate and once you start shooting you can't put it down. Loading the shells is almost as much fun as shooting!! And it slows you down just a bit so the CO2 warms up a bit. I also got the custom Dan Wesson revolver case, very nice case that holds everything you need!

    Things I liked:

This airgun has a really nice feel in the hand with its nice grip, and the realistic weight.

    Things I would have changed:

The sight was poor quality, a white dot painted on the front iron sight and not even centred. I would have liked to see a fiber optic sight.

    What others should know:

It is really handy to have bought the extra speed loader and case as well as the 25 extra cartridge s.
