Things I liked:

I opened the box and wrapped my fingers around this gun. When I did it took me back to when I was 12-years old; that was 49-years ago. I never owned one but I met a kid living nearby that owned one, and I shot his. It was a great experience. That all came back to me as I proudly held my own. I took the advice of another reviewer and put some oil on the threads of the screw-in barrel loader. I also oiled the other vital areas before shooting. It worked great.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing.

What others should know:

When you unscrew the loading port from the barrel be sure to oil the threads before puting it back in. The sights are off somewhat but with some adjustments they will be fine.

Things I liked:

Nothing, this thing broke before I could shoot it

Things I would have changed:

Make the gun better, I was trying to load it and the spring broke, so there goes my time and money

What others should know:

DO NOT BUY THIS, not worth it, it might break right off the rip

    Things I liked:

Large capacity magazine coupled with the ability to fire as fast as I can pump. Owned the Monte Carlo model as a youth, this is better. Feels like a semiauto.

    Things I would have changed:

    It's a classic for a reason

    What others should know:

    Keeps critters at bay

    Things I liked:

First, congratulations to Daisy for producing this great replica. I like the trigger, the fit and finish, the accuracy, the tube loading, the flip sight, the quality cocking mechanism, the weight, the eye relief, the feel in my hands, the safety function, the manual, the packaging, the etching on the breech, the price, and the wonderful memories owning the gun provide.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at all. Perfect replica.

    What others should know:

I'm 81 years old. I learned to shoot with a model 25 in the mid-1950s at about age 11. Dad trusted me and I never let him down. I got pretty good with the rifle. 10 years later I was in the army and made expert with the M1 rifle. The sergeant asked me where I learned to shoot, and I told him. He liked the story. Flash ahead 70 years ... and now I own a second model 25. Support your memories and buy one of these amazing rifles. Thanks again Daisy. Great, just great!

    Things I liked:

Spring feed, staying on the sights while running this tactical piece of kit ;) I grew up in the Sixties and had a 102 and a 99 but never saw one of the old number 25’s in a store but shot many at fairs and carnivals.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the screw for windage adjustment shorter .On every new #25 rear sight I have seen that machine screw needs to be shortened and reinstalled in order for the rear sights to adjust properly. No worries I do this modification before shooting one , mine as well as others.

    What others should know:

Great fun and many smiles per dollar. Be sure to clean the bore before shooting as these have rust preventative in order to make the trip over the ocean. On my last one I forgot and a hundred shots in realized it was shooting poorly because I did not clean the bore. Many folks need to drill out the peep to .080” or 3/32 or so to see the sights well.

    Things I liked:

This air rifle is a copy of one I used in my youth all of 70+ years ago. My brother and I actually wore it out and sent it to Daisy to repair. Before we could wear it out again we got into other air rifles with a bit more horsepower. This air rifle has triggered many happy memories. I will be curious to see if it is as rugged as the first one.

    Things I would have changed:

When peak perfection is reached, change is not necessary.

    What others should know:

Daisy still puts out a great product line. I have owned and used various CO2 handguns and air rifles. They are worth the few dollars spent on them.

    Things I liked:

+Wood stock and handle! +Has the 5 ring handle just like the original one +Quiet (compared to most airguns)

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Very nice replica. Not much else to say. Not sure if it is 100% like the first release model but it meets all my requirements (wood parts and 5 ring handle). For $40-$50 I'd say its worth it.

    Things I liked:

Peep sight, price point. Old style shot tube.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control. My peep sight a too long of a machine screw for the windage adjustment and interfered with use.

    What others should know:

The manual is not good at all, look to you tube and forums for advice. Very soon the stock is getting refinished to look like the old ones and the trigger will be massaged. With a little work the peep sight is nice, good design poor manufacturing execution. This is not a powerhouse by any means but it is easy to cock, the "pump" lever cantilevers to provide leverage on the spring piston. This one has the old style shot tube that is inclusive of the barrel , the shot tube/barrel assembly is removed from the muzzle for loading and maintenance. Don't forget to rack the "pump"and put on safe before removing and installing the shot tube, this eliminates interference with the air transfer tube. At ten meters(which is only fair) it shoots well with Hornady Black Diamonds. This is one hamster that is worth taking to the Veterinarian. The finish will be like my Boudreaux Custom Red Rider, that's my RIT Cocoa stain and Finn mix on it.

    Things I liked:

The way it feels in my hands. The solid stock and easy way to pump cock it.

    Things I would have changed:

Change the way the loading tube is,many times when loading bb's they spill all over. Maybe someway to load directly into end of tube would be better

    What others should know:

    At 20-25 feet very accurate.

    Things I liked:

Peep sight, forced feed magazine tube and not having to point the gun up to feed a bb.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much at this price point but maybe move the pump handle back a little, I am 6 foot four with a 36 inch sleeve length and I can work it without removing the gun off my shoulder but average build folks cannot.

    What others should know:

In my second childhood with this thing. Remember to cock it , safety on then remove the mag tube to load it then re install it and move the slide forward.

    Things I liked:

Wood stock, reliable spring fed magazine. Sights are coarse but were dead on at 10yds out of box.

    Things I would have changed:

A stronger spring for more fps for us adult users.

    What others should know:

My cousin had one when I was a child and I wished for one as well. I later owned, used and abused many models of Crosman and Daisy. Now, after decades, I hold my Model 25. Just a splurge of nostalgia, but I grin just looking at it.

    Things I liked:

Value, mag size, pump action, flip combat/peep rear sight, solidly built for being mostly stamped steel.

    Things I would have changed:

Anything I would change, at this price would be nit picky. But a perfect version would have the forward pump furniture located further back from the muzzle and idk, a more profiled stock, but that would significantly raise the price for no reason other than feel/aesthetic.

    What others should know:

Watch yer fingers around the ammo tube, or better yet debur/blunt the edges. Awesome little backyard can killer.

    Things I liked:

i seen this bb gun on YouTube. it reminded me of my youth. so i bought another one for my little brother. he said that it would have made a great Christmas if there was one under the tree. he has had fun with it. as i have. so i thought i would upgraded him to a Beeman r-9 aulete. he hasn't got it yet. i have one, great rifle. oh he is a licensed conceal carry instructor? said that the bb gun will be a great instrument to teach youngsters safety. it will get a lot of use. As far as dealing with you folks. i would have to say i give you 6 stars.

    Things I liked:

Nice looking representative of the older Model 25 and reasonably priced!

    Things I would have changed:

Stock and forearm stain color. Too Orange!

    What others should know:

While being a bit skeptical about the "Made In China" stigma of one of America's legends, I must admit, that the new Model 25 is very well made and operates very well "out of the box" and fun to plink those pop cans in the back yard! Might be a little hard to pump for smaller kid's, so might need help from adult.

    Things I liked:

I own a lot of guns both conventional and air guns. But this thing is just a blast from the past. It's just fun to play with.

    Things I would have changed:

Back in the day the model 25 was the most sought-after of BB guns it had more power than the red Riders. It would be nice if Daisy would up the power a little bit like they did in the old days instead of using the same spring as the red Riders.

    What others should know:

This makes an excellent gun for adults because of its size it's more comfortable to shoot than like red Riders or some of the others. Allows you to get in on the fun with the kids.

    Things I would have changed:

even with my shrinking size would like one in an "adult" version; a touch heavier; a bit longer; with a slightly stronger spring; HEY DAISEY...AN ADULT VERSION!!!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:
