Things I liked:

It has a heavier plastic frame build than the Powerline 880. The rifle has good power that can rival more expensive break barrel air rifles, with the accuracy that can trump more expensive break barrel air rifles. These rifles can group tighter than 1/2 in., or hit tiny acorns... or even hit its' own holes at 20yds., rested shots. Powerline models 901 and 880 are excellent for removing European house sparrow and starlings out to 30yds. at least. Also great for dispatching a chipmunk overpopulation.

Things I would have changed:

Offer this rifle with an included 3-9x32 scope and dovetail extra high mounts. It really helps to bring out the very best of this rifle's accuracy.

What others should know:

Shoot lead pellets only! Hard metal BB's are no good for accuracy or the barrel rifling inside! I slip the plastic front sight piece off the barrel shroud exposing the thin, wire like barrel. I then wrap a piece of electrical tape just once around the barrel where the front sight piece will snap back onto. I believe that helps to stabilize the barrel underneath the shroud, during the air discharge when firing. I've found several kinds of pellets that work well: Beeman coated HP, Crosman Premier HP, RWS Superdome, JSB, Daisy Flat Nose, H&N FTT, etc. It's hard to beat these Daisy Powerlines for the money! If your Powerline starts losing air right after being pumped up, it's probably time to correctly oil the seals, not throw it away. It will hold air again after that (unless you truly have old or bad seals). I made that mistake the first time around with my first Powerline. Follow the proper instructions, and your Powerline should last quite some time to come.

Things I liked:

Fiber optic sights. Inexpensive

What others should know:

I bought the exact same gun for my wife last year. I really liked hers. My rifle is not as powerful or accurate as hers, I think the quality has a wide range from ok to a great deal. I would not recommend this product.

    Things I liked:

This is my favorite indoor low power rifle. It shoots accurately at 5m with as little as 1 pump. It's solid, comfortable, ez to pump, well made.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope rail is undersized, some rings won't tighten down.

    What others should know:

This is a must own rifle.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. Smooth trigger. Not pellet picky. Light weight. Fairly tough. Very nice .177 caliber air rifle for plinking and target practice. Probably has enough power after 10 pumps to eliminate small pests and squirrels within ~20 yards, but could not recommend for small game hunting (shoots about as hard as Daisy 880). BBs are inherently inaccurate and -will- damage the minimal 'rifling' over time, so pellets only for me (a couple of years of regular BB use ruined a combo-ammo air rifle I had back in the 70's, which I'd pad for myself with months of very hard-earned wages!).

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing amiss here, especially at the price (shop around for the best deal).

    What others should know:

Nice shooting air rifle and one of my favorites for indoor target practice. Shoots quite accurately at all power levels from 3 to 10 and every pump is easy to complete. Very nice inexpensive variable pumper! I kind of hate to say it, but when it comes down to general shooting pleasure, I think I prefer this to my Daisy 5880. :-)

    Things I liked:

One of few remaining single shot pellet guns that are affordable for clubs for juniors to learn on. Still have to modify to install sights

    Things I would have changed:

Would put sights on rifles that we can use to teach qith rather than us having to install sights ourselves. Either manufacturers or sellers provide what we need or with mood in washington this could end youth instruction.

This rifle has become one of my favorites! I am amazed at its accuracy, especially with Daisy pointed pellets. It is easy to pump and is very light weight. The engineering and build quality is excellent. It is perfect for plinking tin cans and target shooting with wadcutter pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

This is a full-sized rifle that is perfect for all adults and a great first air rifle for junior shooters.

    Things I liked:

The entire unit seems well made. I haven't had a chance to really dial in the sights, but just from playing with it, I can consistently hit a T-Post with a BB from 50 yards. So it came pretty darn good right out of the box. Its fairly light weight and easy to pump until you get to about the 8th pump, meaning it has a pretty good amount of power without requiring much effort.

    Things I would have changed:

There seems to be just a bit of wiggle between the stock and receiver. Its only noticeable when pumping and its not very much, but I would feel better about its longevity if that connection seemed more solid. Pellets can be a little difficult to load. I guess this is just a necessary irritation with a BB/pellet combo gun, but you sort of have to drop the pellet in the chamber and hope for it to align itself correctly. I guess you could use tweezers to place one with more control.

    What others should know:

You probably need to be around 5 ft tall to be able to handle this thing. Its definitely a bit too long for my 6 year old to handle. My 8 year old is just barely capable of holding it correctly, and he is a big kid for his age. I got this model instead of a break-over pellet or even a CO2 version because I wanted to be able to better control the power. It definitely gives you a good bit of control. 1 pump will send a BB maybe 30ish ft. 10 pumps will give you enough to take out small nuisances like gophers. I like that I can use this for things like gophers without worrying too much about my zone of fire or backstop conditions.

    Things I liked:

Relatively inexpensive. Can shoot BB's and pellets Fairly accurate even to 40 yards with pellets

    Things I would have changed:

Needs a better trigger. It pulls hard and long compared to other air rifles.

    What others should know:

I blame this on the problems all companies are having in these trying times, but I did have to wait about 2 months for new stock to arrive. I did put my name on the notification and pre-order list and one day, when checking the site to look for any updates, I saw it was in stock and I hadn't gotten any notification. I called to get things going. Check your orders regularly.

I really like this rifle. The second shot I even fired out of this rifle, I got a squirrel! I would say that is out of the box accuracy if I have ever seen it. I had seen this rifle mentioned on a forum as a really good BB/Pellet gun and the reviews everywhere were good, so I felt comfortable buying it. Im really glad I did.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Its a really good value and it is accurate and powerful enough to take down a squirrel.

    Things I liked:

It's light weight and I've had a lot of experience with multi pumps way back in my teens and twenties. I bought this to have a quick alternative to my springers if I need something right there quick and easy. Springers are faster to get ready for a shot but to me multi pump gives you more room for error because of the lack of recoil and really no hold sensitivity issues. Just pump and dump....LOL!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing at all for this price point. I was always a fan of Daisy air rifles over Crosman in my early years. I had an Daisy 856 back in the 80's and loved it. I also had an 880 as well as a Crosman 2100 which I loved and a 760 which I thought was overrated.

    What others should know:

Get this for a plinker as well as some closer range small game with good shot placement this is more than adequate.
