Pellet tins are noisy and might spook game. Load up some extra mags before you leave home and leave the tins behind. Convenient, quiet and ready to shoot.

Things I liked:

The air gun only comes with one magazine. I think that 3 are a minimum but at nearly $50 each I am a bit reluctant to have more. The magazine works well.

Things I would have changed:

I would own more if they were not so expensive or there was a quantity discount.

What others should know:

I took me a bit to figure out how to secure the pellet in the magazine that was in the location where the magazine is loaded and the gun is loaded from. I fount that rotating the drum 1/2 hole keeps the pellet in the drum. But one must remember to align the pellet with the hole when the magazine is inserted into the gun. And that takes a bit of coordination to both retain the pellet in the magazine as insert the magazine in the gun. But with practice it goes just fine.

Things I liked:

Ease of loading, no spring to fight. They slip right in and out of my S510.

Things I would have changed:

The price. Can't see the justification of the high cost of these. Most mags I see are about half this price.

What others should know:

Put a felt-tip index mark between chambers of metal part of mag. Load mag noting location of index mark (I put mine on the corner with the round grip). When the mag cycles back to this position you know it is empty. I see no other way to tell how many shots are left when the mag gets down to the last few rounds.

Things I liked:

Clear rear cover makes seeing when pellets are running low.

Things I would have changed:

At $50 apiece it is quite expensive

  • Mark from USA asked:

Is it possible for this clip to work with the Biathlon S 400? Is it possible to buy additional clips for the Biathlon S 400?

    • Gregory from USA answered:

I have not seen additional mags available for the Biathlon. The regular s510 ten shot mags will work in the BIathlon it is the same size you go from 5 to 10 shots.

Compatible with Air Arms S410/S510 Magazine, .177 Cal, 10 Rds
