This spring increased the performance of my 124 considerably. Better than new.

What others should know:Be VERY CAREFUL when installing this spring. Make certain you know what you're doing, and make sure your compressor can handle this job. Don't lose trigger spring - it will fly away..

I put this spring in my .20cal. Beeman R10....fit nicely and jumped the velocity back up to 750fps with H&N FTT 11.7gr
What others should know:I used this spring at the recommendation of PA's service department....we were attempting to remedy the fact that the OEM springs are quite brittle....I've gone through 5 of them! More coils (39 vs 34) means less stress on each individual coil. So far... so good. However, if your OEM springs fit real tight (diameter), this solution may not work.

I AM TRYING TO FIND A REPLACEMENT MAINSPRING TO FIT A GAMO BIG CAT 1250 (.177 CAL) AIR RIFLE. IS THIS THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT PART?
Yeah, like Val said this one is too big around to fit. I'd buy a Vortek spring which are top quality, or a cheaper spring from Crosman should work too. If you want a better idea on exact options you can ask me; chevota at hotmail The nitro is an option as Val mentioned, and they're kinda neat, but either very expensive or require some work on your end. Coil springs are cheaper, much more reliable, adjustable, and with some work can be made just as smooth and quiet.
no, this one is week and has wrong dimensions to fit Gamo Big Cat. You can get Crosman Nitro Piston instead of the coiled spring for your Gamo big cat, on this web site.
