  • Francisco from USA asked:

Thank you 180 cc (10.9843 in^3); at room temperature of 70F holds 661.163 grains of air, and at 100 shots, on average, it would use 6.61163 grains of air to push a 0.177 pellet at 567 +/-10fps, the problem I am having is that it does not make sense, unless it is fired down to atmosphere pressure, so it has to have a preload pressure, but what is the regulated pressure of the Feinwerkbau 800 PCP to use this "180" cc tube? Now, said 6.61163 grains of air at 100 Bar regulated would provide approximately 19.835 fpe, which is like having the proverbial perpetual motion machine, which is why I need the regulator pressure of any of the Feinwerkbau 800 PCP rifles to see about incorporating this tube. Thank you

    • Scot from USA asked:

      capacity is 180cc?

      • Mark from USA answered:

This is the standard full size air cylinder.

    • Daniel from USA asked:

Can you tell me how many cc the air reservoir is?

      • Francisco from USA answered:

A 97.6 cc at 200 Bar and room temperature would contain 358.5 grains of air, and with 100 shots average, each shot would use 3.585 grains of air, and depending on the regulated shot pressure, it will determine the fpe per grain of air. equation: 6-{(Bar fill / 20) -3} = fpe/gr air Lets say reg. at 100 Bar then you get 3 fpe/gr air, and since the average, roughly is 3.585 then the product of the kinetic energy would be 10.755 fpe per shot. So, you need to input your regulator pressure, make the shot count, input the data, and work backwards to obtain the true cc, which could be 97.5, or 97.7 cc then you have the temperature to contend with, so it is an adventure.
