Things I liked:

Beautiful Turkish walnut stock. Very accurate with the right pellet and using the artillery hold. Lots of power for hunting and pest control. Great trigger and overall easy to use.

Things I would have changed:

SAS system needs improvement to reduce the extremely large amount of recoil vibration. Quality of assembly needs improvement. SAS stock attachment bolt needs re-designed and made more robust to handle the high power shock loads and prevent breakage. 1.) Everything threaded on the outside of the gun keeps coming apart. All the brass knobs, trigger screws, breach bolt retaining post, SAS assembly bolt, stock assembly hardware. Even after cleaning all the threads and adding thread locker, all the threaded parts would begin to loosen 2.) The front SAS/stock attachment bolt has broken three (3) times. I spoke with Hatsan and sent it to their service center. Took 1 1/2 months for them to fix it. They had to replace the bolt twice after the first one they installed broke as well. 3.) The service center did not pack the rifle very well for shipping, so when I received it, the stock now has several points of damage. I'm currently requesting Hatsan to replace the entire rifle or refund my money

What others should know:

NOTE:This is a very heavy and powerful air rifle. Before using, the shooter must master the artillery hold to obtain accurate groups. I purchased this are rifle (.25 cal. spring version) August 2017. Awesome power and extremely accurate. I found this rifle loves bench shooting and Predator Polymag pellets (26 gr). I have tried eight (8) different pellets, with Predator Polymags being the best and H&N Hornets being close behind. Unfortunately, the quality of this air rifle does not match other top brands. The rifle looks very well built, but after a short time, the poor quality assembly and parts begin to show. Because of this, I would not recommend this air rifle. I also own a Hatsan 125 .25 cal vortex (gas piston), which also has a bad barrel and a leaking piston seal, due to poor quality. Unfortunately, Hatsan has refused to repair or replace under warranty. If Hatsan can resolve their quality issues, I feel they would have great air rifles to rival the best.

Things I liked:

My gun is vortex and is in .25 caliber. The stock is beautiful. The gun is powerful. On my gun, the Quattro trigger is decent. I even enjoy the 50 to 60 lb cocking effort and the enormous heft on this gun. I like the scope mounting system.

Things I would have changed:

You encounter the phrase "power without accuracy means nothing" when reading/viewing air rifle reviews. This is particularly true with this rifle. It has not done well with any pellet I have tried. 4.5" groups at 20 meters with every pellet after several hundred round means this rifle cannot be used for hunting (the reason I bought it). It would be okay for plinking - if you were shooting dinner plates. Bad accuracy trumps everything. I wish the RWS 460 came in .25

What others should know:

I have to admit I should have done better research on this rifle. I thought since it was an under lever design that it was a fixed barrel. Stupid me. I think the sliding barrel on this rifle will preclude it from ever being accurate. I can only hope that there will be some aftermarket solution to this gun's woeful performance. By the way, the cocking arm locking system on this rifle stopped working after ten shots, not that it matters much with this rifle since you can load it with the arm fully returned.

Things I liked:

the power is great for a spring gun. When hatsan says a gun shoots 750 fps it shoots 750 fps and thats not with those super light allot pellets mine shoots 750 fps with 21 gr H&N pellets, how do i know this u ask? Because i have a chrony thats how i know. This gun is pushing the limit of spring gun power!!The quatrro triger is a huge improvement, my walther (hatsan)falcon hunter has the older trigger and is not nearly as good. I believe they share the same power plant but my walther is gas spring.

Things I would have changed:

This thing is heavy at 11 lbs without a scope, it probably could have been made a couple of lbs lighter easily enough without sacrificing any strength. It takes serious effort to cock this gun but that is the result of the huge spring and piston so it is to be expected, it may ease up a bit after a couple hundred rounds.

What others should know:

All of my air rifles seem to shoot best with JSB heavy pellets, but this one doesnt like them, shoots much better with H&N 20.06 gr pellets but the gun isnt broken in yet so that may change. THIS IS DEF NOT A GUN FOR YOUNGSTERS ITS BIG AND VERY LONG AND VERY HEAVY and is a bear to cock im 6,1 and 230 lbs and its a two hander for me to cock. Its prob not a gun your going to want to shoot a 100 rounds out of in one setting (your arms will wear out)Hatsan makes quality guns (they make shotguns as well)and many of there air rifles are branded walther, winchester etc. If you want a magnum powered sprig gun that is accurate reasonable priced and nice to look at, check this one out. One other thing, this gun kicks like a mule, i put a leaps 4-16x50 AO true strength scope on it (hope the gun doesnt shake it to pieces) and it accepts either 11mm dovetail or weaver rings how cool is that? Make sure u clean the barrel before firing they are loaded with gunk!!
