The Browning High Power Mark III is a lightweight, spring-powered airsoft pistol that makes a perfect backup to your favorite AEG. This gun is an authentic 1:1 scale replica of the semi-automatic Browning Hi-Power pistol. The pistol was designed & developed by Browning himself and completed by Belgium native Dieudonné Saive after Browning's death. The pistol features a functional slide & full metal internal barrel, a 14rd magazine and a shot velocity of 290 fps (using .12g BBs). Spring airsoft guns generally feature very few breakable components and are a reliable choice for extended airsoft skirmishes. Must be manually cocked for each shot.

Things I liked:

With over a foot of snow on the ground and sub-freezing temperatures I've been trapped indoors and suffering from cabin-fever. I have an assortment of CO2 BB pistols and rifles but I'm uncomfortable shooting these in the houses. This spring powered gun was the perfect solution. At 15 feet the accuracy is more than acceptable with the added benefit of not requiring a fuel source. So far I've fired a few hundred shots and the gun is functioning flawlessly. I'm very pleased with the quality and price of this winter toy.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

Things I liked:

It's possible to hit soda cans a little past ten yards with this. The dimensions of this pistol are nearly identical to the real thing, which is great. The materials seem to be reasonably durable, and when not abused, should last a pretty long time. The appearance of the pistol is absolutely superb.

Things I would have changed:

Paint the sights to match the real deal's. I did, and it actually looks pretty alright. Find a way to add a little weight into the gun; it feels almost appallingly light. If the hammer could be cocked without the spring having to be cocked, that would be neat.

What others should know:

Don't even try .12g BBs out of this thing. All of the ones I tried curved completely unpredictably due to the hopup. However, .2g BBs traveled in a nearly straight line for a long distance, with only slight offsetting and relatively dampened velocity. The safety is a little hard to pivot at first, but in time, it wears into smoothness. This is the best $20 airsoft I have ever seen.

Things I liked:

Being a A Aussie we use High powers as or main military side arm. This pistol is really nice and has hardly any weight but feels breakable though it isn't.

Things I would have changed:

The grips look cool like the ones used by military forces in UK and Australia. But are a pain in tactical use should put normal grips on there though I haven't used it in battle yet will make another review then.

What others should know:

Love this gun. High powers have been used more than any other pistol in the world. It is good to be able to purchase one for a good price that works extremely well and isn't from an company far away in Japan. This is the only website I even saw a springer version. I love this pistol though just the grips bother my hand.
