    Item DescriptionQuantityItem Code
    • Degassing tool
    • Removes air or CO2 from your Discovery's reservoir

    To use the degasser:
    • Screw the tool into the hole in the back of the receiver until it contacts
    • Turn it a few more times
    • When air or CO2 starts exhausting, stop turning it
    • Unscrew & remove the degasser when all the air or CO2 has been removed

If you want to dry-fire your gun, this removes the remaining air or CO2 in your gun's reservoir. If you want to change from CO2 to high-pressure air, remove the CO2 with this tool before filling with air...and vice versa. This tool comes with some of the guns but not others. Replace any that you've lost or get this just in case your degasser is lost.

Things I liked:If need to empty air, then this should do the job.
Things I would have changed:Per other reviewer's comments about being too tight, I used 10-32 die set to clean threads, but it was very difficult. Conventional 10-32 nut worked smoothly, but perhaps it is a tad oversize because the die set was very tight.

Things I liked:Works as designed after screw threads were cleaned up.
Things I would have changed:Manufacturer should check their mfg. process or QA to ensure screw threads are clean and functional.
What others should know:As experienced by other reviewers, first time tool screwed into gun required excessive force and friction on threads possibly by poor threading, contamination of screw threads. After cleaning up with 10-32 die the tool now operates smoothly although the knob was buggered up from previous use of pliers.
