Things I liked:

Good quality and was super easy to assemble. Curtains reduce pellet impacts really well. Not sure how long the curtains will last though. Overall size is perfect for my needs as I usually just paste on an 8" target.

Things I would have changed:

There are 4 plastic buttons that hold the cardboard in place. If you accidentally hit the buttons, there goes your mounting system. The cardboard is very thin and will not last very long. I had to cut up a bunch of cardboard replacements (should be sold seperately).

What others should know:

Careful you don't damage the mouting buttons and be prepared to make replacement cardboard plates.

Things I liked:

Perfect for indoor shooting. I added some putty by Air Venturi on the back plate and bottom so it catches bb's and pellets..definitely recommend this to be able to shoot both bb's and pellets without the fear of richochets.

Things I would have changed:

Maybe supply some more cardboard backing, it gets eaten up pretty quick

What others should know:

Get some putty and apply to the back plate and bottom to catch bb's and pellets. Add some paper targets to your cart

Things I liked:

This is a good pellet trap for .177caliber CO2 pellet pistols at 30ft. at 400fps velocity. It worked fine for my Crosman Vigilante CO2 pellet revolver (400fps velocity) and my Crosman 2240 in .22caliber(400fps). I purchased a new one for my Benjamin 392s pump up rifle (14grain .22caliber lead pellets at 600fps) shooting at 50ft. It started to fall apart when I didn't keep my groups in the center of the target. The pellets started going through the plastic bottom and sides. My friend owns a Gamo Swarm Fusion, break barrel, gas piston (14 grain .22 caliber lead pellet at 800fps. He put fifty rounds into the trap target shooting at fifty feet and the metal backing plate was visibly bent from shooting his Gamo at it.

Things I would have changed:

It is a bit of a toy! Make the whole trap out of thicker metal, line it with duct putty! Do something to reinforce it, and make it safer for shooting adult air guns.

What others should know:

Don't shoot BB's at this trap, they will ricochet and damage walls and windows. If you plant to shoot mostly high power pellet guns, spend more money ($50) and buy a trap rated for .22cal rimfire. I purchased a HighWild solid steel trap rated for .22cal rimfire, and have no complaints!

  • Dave from USA asked:

    What size paper target fits?

    • Kelan from USA answered:

any paper aprox 10" wide x 9" high or little bigger.

  • Canadianguy from Canada asked:

When I bought this trap there is a long plastic piece that comes with the curtain rod.How does it fit in the curtain hanger?

    • Andrew from USA answered:

If you lace the curtain per instructions, that long piece "plugs in" to secure the fabric. You should notice a deeper tang and a shorter one. With red side facing you, plug in the longer tang on the red side. It won't fit is misaligned, but once you futz a bit, it falls into place nicely.

  • Jason from USA asked:

What could happen if i used steel bb's instead of pellets?

    • Vincent from USA answered:

don not use bb's or steel tipped pellets will ricochet out of trap at high speed
