Things I liked: I bought 4 of these slings for my break barrel air rifles. I did not want the hassle of trying to find the correct mounting hardware and then go through the hassle of installing it not to mention the additional cost. I found this sling and it had mixed reviews. If you're looking for a hassle free sling this is it. The price is awesome. Yes it does slip once in a while but takes only a second to adjust. The sling is well padded and is comfortable to use. I check my trap line daily which is about a 4 mile walk so this sling has seen a lot of use and is very durable. I highly recommend ordering if you need a great sling. Can't beat the price for this quality.

Things I liked: Comfortable. A big help when carrying it for a long time

Things I would have changed: Although there are precious few ways to mount a sling on a break-barrel air gun, it would be nice if there could be a way to attach it other than the barrel. There have been a couple of times where the barrel has opened while using it. Also, a back strap on the buttstock end would be good, to keep it from creeping up the stock.

What others should know: There are few choices out there for break-barrel rifles. This is better than carrying a 9# rifle in your hand all day. I recommend that you buy one.

Things I liked: INSTALLED EASILY ON RIFLES WITHOUT SLING ATTACHMENTS.

Things I would have changed: NOTHING

What others should know: I INSTALLED THIS ON MY CROSMAN RIFLE WITHIN SECONDS. IT WORKS VERY WELL FOR STEADYING MY AIM.

  • frank from USA asked:

will this work with a Walther Terrus .177 cal air rifle?

    • Michael from USA asked:

Hi, Will this work on a Sam Yang 500cc rifle..i.e, how wide does the barrel loop open? The Sam Yang 500cc guns circumference is 7.5" around, or three inches tall.

      • Jon from USA asked:

would this fit the crossman Optimus .22?

        • Chevota from USA:

Just be wary because if the thick looped part around the barrel were to get caught between the barrel block and stock while cocking it'll likely snap the stock. Eyeball your gun while cocking and you can see there's very little space for a foreign object. Another option, but involves much more work, is to buy the front sling mount for a Trail AW and make it fit your barrel block. The Trail has a little wider spot to accept the mount, which is attached to the pin holding the cocking linkage. So the mount straddles the cocking linkage so the slot where the cocking linkage goes just needs to be 3mm wider to accept it. Look at the parts diagram for a Trail AW and you can get a better idea. The mount is $1.15 from Crosman, and you need a new linkage pin (also $1.15) since you have to drill yours out. It turns out real nice but you have to work for it...
