Things I liked: Clear bright Optics. The Illumination well controlled. Study construction. Turret adjustment is positive and locks. Scope holds zero.
Things I would have changed: Nothing
What others should know: I am actually not a fan of UTG scopes but this one is nice. I have had others that I have sent back Not this one.
Things I liked: I had to wait for my air rifle to arive, this gave me a chance to review scopes I felt I could afford. I wanted a scope that would focus to 5 yards, have 50 MM view, was versatile and take the air rifle shock.
Things I would have changed: The front Fold down ring has the hinge mount and two other small knobs that can interfer with rotating the front of the scope with the barrel. I am not using these caps at this time.
What others should know: I read Tom Gaylord's instructions on mounting and zeroing the scope while waiting for the air rifle. This information made everything go well.
Things I liked: 15 foot focus 50 mm objective - lots of light 3 x 9 magnification Adjustable Objective 1" tube
Things I would have changed: I feel the colored, illuminated reticle is not necessary.
What others should know: This scope has a lot going for it and UTG normally has good quality. However, this scope arrived shooting almost 2' LOW at 29' range. I had to shim the rear scope by .060 (60 thousandths of an inch) to get it close to center. However, shimming any scope this high can introduce unwanted stress on the tube by the front ring so one must be careful how tight you make the screws. Otherwise, I recommend the scope and hopefully you won't get one like I did. That's the reason I gave it 3 stars overall.
What type of scope base is on your gun? What type of mount do you need? Weaver, Picatinny, 3/8″ or 11mm? Do you need 2-pc mounts or a 1-pc mount? 30mm or 1″? Scope mounts intro (Airgun Academy class)
