Solid mostly metal build...Holds alignment on all my air rifles and pistols even though I don't own a springer...Personally I like the tightening screw to hold the alignment as most other models in this price range don't have it and lose alignment as a result..The 4 MOA dot sizes and 7 intensity levels cover all my shooting needs and more actually...The one mount tightening screw is a cross section rod to stop shifting on the Weaver mount...Lens is quite bright in low light as a result of the coated glass...I tried a couple others in this style and a couple more in the scope style and for me this Walther MDS was by far the best value...
Things I Would Have ChangedA seperate on/off switch so I wouldn't have to rotate the top knob 3-4 positions both ways every time I use it...Of course this would add to the cost so hopefully the rotating switch will hold up...
What Others Should KnowThe sight is Made in China and not Germany like most Walther products...

Things I Would Have ChangedBetter battery container, I have some problems with the dot not coming on until I shake the gun. Not a big deal and I will try to tighten the spring in the battery case.
What Others Should KnowI bought this sight for use on a IZH-46M Match Pistol because my eyes are staring to fail at 68 years and I wanted a sight to use at 10M's and this does the job. I did want to spend a lot of money (under $50) and a soght with a small MOA for target practice. I am now getting groups in 3/8" and will get better with additional adjustments. I found the sight very easy to adjust and so far it's holding. Thsi sight is a GREAT Value...
I really like this red dot sight. Compared to a cheaper model that I tried, I found the adjustable intensity levels for the red dot to be the main advantage to this sight. The sight was easy to adjust and was accurate for the rifle I use it with. The rifle is a Crosman 1077 sighted in for 25 yards. Very Nice!

Things I Would Have ChangedI do not like the locking screw after every adjustment you have to tighten it.
