The Hunter Carbine is a short version of the TX200. The HC also shares the standard TX200 Mk III internals but externally looks the same as previous models. Because this is a carbine, the lever is shorter, making it heavier to cock, in addition to having a higher cocking effort than the standard TX200. Includes a Lothar Walther barrel.

Things I liked:Outstanding accuracy. I've put a can of the Superpoint Extra (250), and half a box (250) of the Crosman Competition pellets through it since my purchase (2014). Once I found a scope mount with two anchor screws, it's been balls on accurate. Not a word from the neighbors about noise when cleaning up varmints (up to 50 lbs.). I haven't shot it without a dead rest very many times - it is quite heavy. Small game from the truck window at 50 yards without hearing protection (yep). The size fits well in a hard sided AR case. I love the no hassle nature of the spring loader/underlever. Ammo can be found on the cheap. It's a beautiful rifle. I'll be shooting this much more than almost any other rifle that I own.
Things I would have changed:The only thing that I would change would be a lower price :) However, this really is first class. I did change the stock lever grip for a brass model. I'd change the local laws about suppressors if all that they fit were airguns.
What others should know:I reserved a star on Overall and Value because I've only owned it for 6 months. It was an "investment" when compared to what I thought previously about pellet guns. If it lasts, and continues to shoot as well as it has from the box, I'll have no problem awarding another star.

Things I liked:Beautiful stock. Screams of quality through and through. Extremely accurate. Once you fire it a few times, you know where your money went.
Things I would have changed:Make sure that you pull the charging handle all the way back until the safety pin engages. If there is tension in the charging lever, you did not properly charge the rifle.
What others should know:Work on your left arm strength to support the rifle in an unrest firing position.

Things I liked:Accuracy, beautiful stock, Mirrored bluing.
Things I would have changed:Quality control needs addressed, My 1st tx200 shot very slow and just got worse as I shot it and was very buzzy. Velocity was in the 500s after 500 pellets. Returned it and the second gun shot a little slow but wasnt as bad. Found the breech did not fully close. Decided to keep it and a shim in the cocking shoe fixed the breech issue. Now the gun shoots up right at 700 with H&N FTT. After 2 weeks some of the bluing has already rubbed of. Bluing may look deep but its really thin just polished real well. Should of stuck to my weihrauchs.
What others should know:If you buy this gun check it out to make sure you get a good one air arms QC is not what it used to be.
