A favorite among competitive shooters and sportsmen! Whether you're looking for power, accuracy, or excellent fit and finish, the TX200 MkIII has it. It's ideal for anything from competing in local field target matches to hunting.

The TX200 Mk III features a Lothar Walther barrel and a richly finished Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheekpiece and deep, flawless bluing. In addition to the superior fit and finish, the TX200 Mk III features a two-stage trigger and an automatic safety. Loading is via a sliding breech, which is revealed when you cock the underlever. You have to mount a scope since it doesn't come with open sights.

It shoots at 930 fps in .177 and 755 fps in .22. Air Arms products, including the TX200, are known for accuracy in all calibers. Use the guns for hunting (.22 recommended) or field target (.177 only). You don't have to stop there! It's great for plinking, shooting spinners, killing tin cans or popping paper targets. Enjoy the relatively quiet report and moderate recoil from a gun that has a long heritage of accuracy.

Things I liked:Very nice feel to stock.
Things I would have changed:For a gun that cost this much they should come with a 25yd.shot target (grouping)at least.
What others should know:Accuracy fell off quick. Had to return,,waiting on replacement...

Things I liked:I would pretty much be repeating what the majority have said about what an excellent air rifle this is. I guess the more important question is whether the price is worth it, and the obvious answer is YES! The legends are true. This beauty feels and looks better than some of my .22 rimfire rifles. Find the right pellet for it, and you'll have a laser beam up to 50 yds. all day long.
Things I would have changed:Include simple instructions for disassembling/maintenance with torque settings.
What others should know:If your cocking lever arm stops engaging/locking with the indent ball catch, all you have to do is turn the end knob counterclockwise to engage the ball again, put a little bit of removable Loctite and adjust quickly to your desired release and engagement and you'll be good to go. Not sure why Air Arms didn't make that part a little resistant to moving out of place.

Things I liked:Everything about this rifle screams quality and it is by far the most elegant weapon I own including firearms. Its as smooth shooting as some of my tuned air rifles and the factory trigger feels great right out of the box. Its expensive but I have no regrets at all about this purchase.
Things I would have changed:I'm really not a fan of auto safeties but other than that I'm happy as is.
What others should know:Mine is the .22 and of all the pellets I've tried (a lot) this one likes cheap Crosman Premiers the best, both the domed and hollow point. Go Figure?

Why don't you put the other half of Paul Capello's review of the TX200 on this site?

    • Bob from USA asked:

Anyone find the "Magic Pellet" in .177 for this gun?

      • Paul from USA:

I'm having a heck of a time finding that magic pellet also. The best one so far has been the Beeman Kodiak match in 10.65 grain.
