The majority of this gun is metal. Only the stock is ABS, the rest of the gun (barrel, trigger, receiver, scope, scope mounts, bolt and bolt handle) are metal.
Attention.The screws for the installation of the action and barrel are
contained inside the stock, flip the stock over so you are looking at
the under side you will see two holes one in the trigger guard and
one just behind the magazine, the screws are located within these
holes. Use the large Allen wrench (provided with gun) to attach stock
to action/barrel unit.

The gun is built well. The stock is plastic but it's pretty durable. It can take a beating but I wouldn't recommend hitting it up against a tree.

The cheek rest and butt can be extended and raised to fit the shooter. Things I would have changed:The gun is a great beginner rifle! I didn't have any problems with either of my rifles.
But I would buy a different Bi pod. the one it comes with is not so great. I would recommend buying one that fits on to the sling stud on the bottom. The adapter for the bi pod is a bad design, it wobbles and doesn't sit tight in its place. What others should know:UTG over oils their guns. It affects the performance out of the box. This is an easy fix and will make the performance way better.
take the barrel with the hop up out. take a small piece of rag tied onto a string and pull it threw the barrel and hop up a few times to clean all the oil and dirt out. Anything in there will greatly affect the accuracy of the pellets.
right out of the box the bucking in the hop up isn't going to work at it's full potential. After you shoot a few hundred rounds threw the gun it will get better. So re adjust your hop up every few hundred shots.
Also when you take the barrel out, there are foam rings that hold the inner barrel. Usually these wont be evenly spread across the length of the barrel and when you shoot, the barrel is allowed to move and vibrate throwing the pellet off. Just take the rings and space them out and wrap duct tape around the barrel on both sides of the barrel to hold the rings in place.
I would not recommend using .20. I found that they are too light. I recommend using high polished .23 or .25 for best accuracy. The BB will go slower but your shots will be more accurate.

You will literally have to shoot it to understand that it wasn't a real rifle. overall great product. Well worth the money, Things I would have changed:i would probably not make the bi-pod as wobbly. But this definitely is not a deal breaker for the package. I would have also liked a small package of maybe like 100 or so bb's in the package to make it a use out of the box type of deal. What others should know:one thing that kinda frustrated me was that when i received the package the included speed loader was broken and i had to take it apart to fix it. one of the springs or the only spring towards the bottom of the loader popped out of place. This could have been my package only. It seems to work just fine now.

I was able to hit an antenna topper from 50 feet away with no problem. The bolt action combined with the heavy feel of the mostly metal construction make for a realistic feel. Things I would have changed:The only thing that I would change would be the bipod. The bolt on my bipod stripped after having the gun 6 months. Other than that this is a solid piece of airsoft machinery. What others should know:The scope is a necessity for this gun since there are no sights. Also, you will need to have a side arm if you are using this in play. Up close shots with this gun are NOT recommended. When you first get the gun the bolt action is a little stiff and takes a little work to move, but with consistent play it will be broken in in no time. The magazines also need to sprayed with silicone oil from time to time or they will get stuck in the gun. If you want to be ahead of your opponents in the field you should definitely look into this sniper rifle!

It isn't cheap or anything it holds up great but it does wobble around a bit. Other then that it weighs 11lbs with the stand on it can get a bit heavy to aim without leaning it on something. What others should know:The gun is fantastic, really it is 100% worth the money! Test shooting this thing on a target I was hitting bb's that I had already shot in the bullseye. It is VERY accurate! Make sure to get .28's!

Also, the scope that came with it doesn't seem to zero in at all. You can turn the dials but it doesn't really change much, so the gun consistently shoots left for me if i'm looking through the scope. Not really a problem with the gun though, just the scope. What others should know:It's a great buy, and definitely a good gun. All the problems with it are fixable if you take the time. It'll get the job done at a fraction of the cost of much more expensive sniper rifles.

Things I liked:Well, seeing as it's based off of the British L96 Rifle, it definitely caught my eye. thumb-through-stock handle very comfortable, nice weight distribution. Killer accuracy, adjustable hop up, and for some reason mine came with a non-illuminated mil-dot scope, [i heard some were coming with illuminated scope, a no-no when it comes
... Read MoreThings I liked:Well, seeing as it's based off of the British L96 Rifle, it definitely caught my eye. thumb-through-stock handle very comfortable, nice weight distribution. Killer accuracy, adjustable hop up, and for some reason mine came with a non-illuminated mil-dot scope, [i heard some were coming with illuminated scope, a no-no when it comes to stealth. very nice, UTG] Bi-pod is a little bonus, but the real perk was the two additional rails which now hold my laser.
The Stock has the adjustable cheek rest, which i don't prop up because my scope is very low-profile, but the rest is also hard plastic, so i wrapped it in some gel padding for extra comfort. Things I would have changed:Lots of people complain about the weight. i thought it was heavy when i pried it out of the box, and it definitely takes some getting used to, but i really enjoy carrying it. The Bolt action also takes getting used to because the spring really knows how to pull back, but after a while it becomes no problem. a softer cheek rest would have been nice, but its a quick fix. also it's hop up adjustment is in the magazine well, and hard to reach with the provided hex wrench. a longer set of hex wrenches is recommended
What others should know:get a complete set of hex tools, because the gun has a lot of different sizes at a lot of different spots [gun, stock, scope, bipod, etc] I'm really satisfied. serious players know that skill comes not with the equipment, its the player, but this gun is defiantly worth its weight and is a guaranteed ace-in-the-hole.
also: bolt action guns are slow in the Rate of fire department, so practice, practice, practice. its also a good idea to keep a reliable sidearm. My Smith-Wesson Sw40 works great, but really any semi-auto pistol works in any given "trapped in a corner" situation. Go Co2.

Things I liked:this gun is really accurate i can hit soda cans from 150 feet away with no problem! i do recommend getting .28 g match grade bb's. the .2o g bb's werent as accurate so i ordered the match grade bb's. Things I would have changed:the only thing i might do is get a better bi-pod because the one that comes with this gun

If there is any wind your bullets will be thrown off tremendously. So best time to play is at night during no wind.

Things I liked:Solid bolt action, sturdy, feels like a gun worth carrying. Things I would have changed:Most annoying would be the ABS molding seams. There are spots around the hand grip & trigger, where continued use will chew up your hands if you're not wearing gloves. This is fairly easily solved with some black electrical tape

This is fairly easily solved with some black electrical tape, but for the quality of gun, they could've been smoothed over Also the HOP-UP adjustment is rather inconvenient to adjust should you need to in the field. What others should know:Once dialed this gun is spot on and quite a blast to play with. Take the time ti really dial it in, by reading any of the available guides online on how to do it. Also, I wouldn't use anything lighter than a .20 in these, and make sure to lube the barrel every so often.
