An improved version of an already impressive airgun, the BSA R-10 SE brings you everything that worked with the BSA R-10 MK2 and adds an improved regulator and updated shroud system that moves the R-10 SE into a class of its own.
Featuring a finely oiled Minelli Monte Carlo walnut stock, the R-10 SE is a sight to behold, and you’ll have no trouble finding a good grip with its laser etched handholds on the grip and fore-end. Customizable where you want it, the stock includes a vertically and horizontally adjustable rubber butt piece and a 2-stage adjustable trigger. The BSA R10 SE is built for accuracy due to the specially machined cold hammer-forged barrel guarantees amazing accurate shots and the new regulator that keeps its shots highly consistent. If all that wasn’t enough, an improved shroud with a fixed suppressor makes the airgun twice as quiet as the previous model. The SE includes 2 magazines so you spend more time shooting, less time reloading.
All in all, the BSA R-10 SE is a beautifully built rifle that delivers on performance, accuracy, and quality craftsmanship--a welcome addition for any serious PCP airgunner.

Things I liked: The stock is fabulous!!! Never thought I would get one like that. Thought that the clip or magazine would be unlikable but just the opposite, a pleasure to use. This thing is crazy accurate, not gonna say I can do it every time but...I have put 5 in 3/8ths of inch at 50 yds. I have around 500 rounds thru it and it'll shoot just about anything up to 16 grain at fifty yards in 1and a1/8 inch. Regulator fluctuates 50 FPS up to 16 grain jsbs but when you hit 18 grain jsb's they tighten up to 10 FPS or less. That's when the jaw dropping starts! I want to say that this rifle doesn't throw fliers but what gun doesn't do that, it shoots that good. 30 shots on the regulator.
Things I would have changed: This gun thrills me, I like it that much, but.....the safety stinks. Very stiff and sticky feeling. Wish it was down by the trigger.
What others should know: This gun feels better than anything I ever put to my shoulder. It points and balances very nice. Fit and finish are top notch, and didn't say a thing about the trigger. Did not change yet, it's awsome. May lighten it a bit. Oh it's in. 22 it's a keeper.
Things I liked: Excellent gun. Very accurate
Things I would have changed: Some design that would prevent loading a second pellet accidentally. It's possible to forget that you've chambered one and work the bolt again.
Things I liked: Beautiful presentation. Accurate at every yardage I've experienced. Hole on hole at 18 to 25 yards, 3/4 inch group at 60 yards using hunting chair and bipod. Rifle is capable of even better if bench rested. Great trigger and good balance off hand. Rifle is very easy to disassemble and maintain with many videos on YouTube for the UK and others. I really like this airgun!
Things I would have changed: Ok! BSA stock regulation just isn't acceptable out of the box. It was acting as a restriction and producing the classic bell curve that unregulated airguns display. I disassembled the regulator, burnished the moving parts with extra fine steel wool, and used a tiny amount of molycoat/synthetic oil blend to lube the regulator piston. Reassembled and adjusted the spring tension on the regulator to confirm regulator response (1 3/4 turns in from flush). With regulator now responding, I achieved an extreme spread of 21 PSI for 30 shots. Not bad. However, I drank the online Kool-Aid and ordered an aftermarket regulator. Plug and play install, 10 fps extreme spread, over 40 shots. Great airgun when stock regulator works, but an AWESOME air rifle with the new regulator!!!
What others should know: I could not rate this gun with 5 stars overall because of the regulator issue. If you have some mechanical experience, don't be afraid to disassemble and work on this gun. But don't do anything you don't need to do either! I did not adjust the hammer spring, or go into any other internals. Except for the regulator the gun is fantastic right out of the box. I hope that Gamo (who now owns BSA air guns) will address this issue, but it may push the price up a bit. As it is, the pricing point on this premium rifle is very attractive. Watch for Pyramid Air's super sales and order with confidence.

Will the carbine version be available? I've been waiting for this SE to arrive to the state in hopes that version would come too.
If there is enough demand, I'd imagine PA will respond to that demand. But it would have to be more than just one or two folks looking for them. I wonder what the performance would look like out of one of the carbine versions.
Why do keep saying ambi. stocks aren't available? All you have to do is look at BSA's site to see that they are available. The black, the camo and the laminated are offered in ambi. Why do lie to your potential customers? I've contacted BSA directly and was told which stocks the offer.
Not sure who is telling you they are not available, but of course, as you've pointed out that is not correct. Maybe they meant that PA will not be offering them or stocking them? If you're interested in getting one of the different stocks, have you contacted PA about special ordering one? That can usually be done.
I have just ordered a BSA R10 MK2, which is supposed to come with "a magazine, lube and a fill adapter." I had assumed that the fill adapter was to connect it to scuba tank. Is that assumption wrong? Do I need something else to refill the air tank? I have a pump for a Benjamin Marauder pistol -- could I use that?
Nice rifle. You will need the Air Venturi Male Quick Disconnect (to use with the pump).
To fill your PCP gun:
1.Pick a source of air shown at right
2.If an adapter is needed, one will be shown
3.Add both to your cart to get hooked up
