Formerly known as the Marksman 2004.

The owner's manual says the gun has a manual safety. It does not. It has an automatic safety.

Outstanding accuracy and velocity. Single-shot pistol produces up to 410 fps. Totally recoilless and no CO2 required. Add a dot sight on the 11mm dovetail.

Target-style trigger provides crisp let-off and minimum take up. Custom shaped, finger groove grip helps improve shooting comfort and aids with accuracy. Polymer frame is durable and lightweight, cast aluminum pump body and valve body, and steel barrel and main valve provide long life and repeatable accuracy. Includes automatic safety, and rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation.

Things I liked:I can't believe I can buy this quality of a pistol at this price. OK, so it isn't the end all, but for the price it offers a lot of fun. The weight and feel of it, the sights, rifled barrel, etc., it is a hoot! Nothing else to buy but pellets!
Things I would have changed:I wish it was easier to cock/pump, but then that would mean a reduction in velocity. Btw, I put this gun through my chronograph and it shot a very tight spread in the 496-504 range with Crosman 7.9 pointed. It is a little tricky loading, but not really a problem.
What others should know:When I first got this gun I pumped it and was thinking that it took so much effort that I probably wouldn't shoot it much. Wrong! Once you start shooting, you just keep going like the Everready bunny. I wear a glove on my left hand making it less punishing to pump during an extended shooting session. It is hard to pump and it is single shot but it is still fun and has a trigger that I like a lot and I'm actually pretty spoiled on triggers. It feels good in the hand, it is a full sized pistol and it points well and I love being able to see the pellet in flight when the light is just right. It is so inexpensive, and so good it is hard to argue against owning one.

Things I liked:Great looking gun. It has good weight and balance. It has good power, equal to 7 pumps of my Crosman 1377, so in the low 400s.The sights are simple, although no information was included about the sights, and are quite accurate. The automatic safety setting is probably a good idea. The trigger pressure is the best. It makes my other guns seem very clumsy. I'm sure the light trigger pressure is one of the main reasons the gun is as accurate as it is. The barrel length is fairly long and the sound really is quite muted, both good things.
Things I would have changed:The manufacturer claims the cocking pressure is 28 lbs, but I'm not a sissy and I have difficulty cocking it without out bracing it on my leg. There is no cocking assist like on some other guns probably because of the way the guns is set up. Along that same complaint is, in order to get the best grip on it to cock you have to touch the rear sight. I have harmed it yet, but it is a distinct possibility. The other thing is the loading of the pellet. It is hard to fit the pellet in because there is no guide. You have to get it just right in order for it to fit in the barrel.
What others should know:Take advantage of Pyramid Air's sales promotions. They are worth waiting for!

Things I liked:With a 6.5" barrel it's the most accurate pistol that I own. The best value for the $$$$.
    Things I would have changed:----
What others should know:Following cocking which maybe hard the first few dozen times, the pistol self locks on safety, which to me is a nice feature.

    • CEDRIC from Canada asked:

Hi, is it the new model with optic fiber sights that is sold here?

      • Chevota from USA:

Mine had the fiber optic inserts, but unfortunately they are brittle and located right where you put the pressure on it to pump it. They were very short lived in my gun. You could modify them to survive, and if I decide to do that with my second gun I'll post the how-to.

    • Grigor from Armenia asked:

Hi, dear friend, can you ship it cheaper. it is too much to pay 130$ for shipping :)

      • Erika from USA:

Pyramyd Air only ships with FedEx. The amount that you see listed is the best price available for shipping from the warehouse to your location.

    • James from USA asked:

What are the best pellets for this gun? I'm just shooting at paper and swinging targets. Are coated pellets better than non coated? Pointed vs. wadcutter? Can any pellets be re-used?

      • Chevota from USA:

I like the JSB round nose in 8.44, 10.34, and 13.43gr. Of course the heavier are slower, but have more power at all ranges and more accurate excluding the more pronounced trajectory. The JSB are not only precision, but a good fit, seal well, and have minimal friction. All great bennies for a low powered gun. Mine shoots those pellets at 385, 355, and 319fps, fyi. I would also recommend the RWS Superdome.
