Things I liked:Illuminated scope with Red or Green Selectable. Very nice stock. Very well made. Does the job of Eliminating SKUNKS & RACCOONS. Things I would have changed:1. The weight of the rifle is very heavy. 2) shorten the barrel by 4".
The noise is about a 6 on the scale of 1-10. Not bad...Just be carefull after putting oil

The noise is about a 6 on the scale of 1-10. Not bad...Just be carefull after putting oil down the compressor. (BANG) !! What others should know:This is my 3rd installment of reviews for this same rifle. I just have to tell all of you that I have owned this rifle for 1 year & 5 months. I have killed with this rifle 10 skunks and 2 raccoons. I never thought this thing was powerfull enough to kill "Raccoons" but it does with these pellets = JSB Predator .177 ( with the red sharp tip). These are the E-Ticket pellet for eliminating the Pests that come into your yard at night and make your dogs bark up a storm.

The gun's power is amazing with pba amo, say when my dad took a first shot the gun recoiled with his supprize and the scope hit his eybrow which he wasnt expecting. The barrell is easy to break and cock after about 20 shots or so. The scope is an amazing scope just have to ave patience to sight it in, as it took me close to 3 weeks of nonstop shooting to sight in perfect. This gun with regular lead pellets can even take down any game in my yard without a problem. Things I would have changed:different scope mounts and tell the people that the scope mount pin isnt screwed down when u buy it cause i screwed over my mount and had to buy a new one cause the mount slid back and the clip of the mount folded over makign the scope lean down in the front. What others should know:Not an easy gun to get used to for a first timer, but a great experience with pba for fun as the supersonic crack is a fun little thing to do every once in a while.

The overall build quality is excellent. When you first pick this gun up you know you're going to get some serious enjoyment out of this rifle. It is very heavy as others have stated. As a fairly recently new airgun owner this is probably not for the new user. From my very 1st shot I was a little taken back at the sheer power and kick. There is definitely recoil that I am not used to in an airgun. Being I have been out of the hobby for 10 or so years things have changed dramatically. After getting comfortable with the power and recoil, I could finally attempt to zero in the scope. I have NEVER done this before... At about 50 feet it took me about 20 shots to get the scope provided nailed down to within about 1/2" of my target. I think with a few hours more and maybe a few hundred rounds the average user can get this thing nailed down to hit just about anything at virtually any distance with minor adjustments for windage/distance, etc.. Overall, if you are looking for power, you've got it here. If you are looking for accuracy, you can definitely achieve it with the provided scope. Remember, this is not for younger children for a starter gun. This is for adults. Be careful if you live in a populated area. Depending on the pellets you use, you may get such a loud crack, 911 could definitely be called. Also, with this much power on tap, remember to keep in mind what's behind your target, or what's in the background. If you miss or have a pellet go past your target, it could do some serious damage or injury!!! Bottom line.... No matter what your small complaints any of us can find, this is a FUN gun. And, with time I think all of us that own this gun will never regret the purchase. This gun can definitely be used and passed down to future generations. Things I would have changed:The weight!! Not to sound like a broken record, but WOW!!! This is not meant to be held by the average user. It is meant to be rested on a bench or your own device at home. I wish I had known this before. Sometimes it's hard to find a rest when you see something you want to shoot at. It can be difficult to find a rest in a hurry. The eye relief of the pre mounted scope is a little picky. You have to have your eye RIGHT on where it demands which isn't always your comfort level. The only other thing I would change is the length of the barrel. What others should know:Don't hesitate to buy this gun. There is a reason why it sells out all the time. I'm sure this will be in the Benjamin line up for years with refinements along the way. The trigger is horrible! It's way to stiff and can take you by surprise when it finally reaches discharge. The pull is so long, it's difficult to stay calm all the way through follow through. Although it's "adjustable", it's still stiff no matter what. Do not freak out when you initially attempt to cock the gun!!! It needs to be hit with your hand to break the barrel for quite a while. Just to get the initial cocking started, once you snap it with your hand the cocking part isn't too bad. Speak with someone at Pyramyd if you want a case to protect, or transfer this in. I bought 2 of them and neither are large enough for this gun. I will have to use them for others I've recently bought and order a new one for the Super Streak.... Experiment with as many pellets as you can afford, really!!!!!1

Things I liked:This additional info since my rating from earlier.
The scope is great for night shots. It's a powerhouse for 177 pellets. Things I would have changed:IT'S TOO DARN HEAVY...MY 338-378 WEATHERBY MAGNUM WEIGHTS LESS THAN THIS THING. IT NEEDS A CARRY STRAP TOO. What others should know:Noise? well yes, right

IT NEEDS A CARRY STRAP TOO. What others should know:Noise? well yes, right after you put oil in it. it will pop like a 22. after the first 2 shots from adding oil, it will quiet down. I live in a forested mountain environment. My neighbors will not hear this gun if they are inside their homes. Outside?? yes, they will hear it. *** This gun does kill SKUNKS !! and I have shot 4 of these pests. Raccoon was shot with my 22 mag. I STRONGLY urge you to use these specific pellets in this rifle. 1). JSB "predator" with the red stinger. 2). Beeman "Crow-Magnum" with a hollowpoint. These pellets will totally devastate the animal you shoot them with. Great rifle and accurate with the right pellets. BUT--> TOO DARN HEAVY...No way this can be a kids gun. they won't be able to hold it up to shoot.

Things I would have changed:Looking for a way to put a sling on it and it needs one if you are going to lug this cannon around hunting. The cutout for the underlever goes pretty far back into the stock, so it looks like I may have to sling it from the barrel. Benjamin should design this for the gun and offer it as an option. What others should know:The recoil is pretty strong, it will take some practice to manage it to group tight rounds. The gun fires like a rimfire, it is loud so you can't really shoot it in the backyard with other homes nearby. Cops will be called.

Things I would have changed:Boy this gun is Huge (Long) and Heavy wish it could be miniturized a little bit. What others should know:Although the scope was Factory Mounted - it really wasn't. The scope was put on the gun with all the screws loose. Also could not sight gun in with scope as there was not enough upward vertical adjustment. I had to shim the rear scope ring with 2 shims made from roof flashing in order to get the scope sighted in with this gun. Surprisingly, the Vertical and horizontal scope adjustments work great and the scope is pretty clear. Cocking it not real easy but not back breaking either. After a quick sight in 1" high at 35 feet I took a shot at a padlock (46 yards) and it was about 1.5 inches low dead center - pretty impressive. The pellet was stuck in the barn door about 1/4" deep. It also blew through my realtors sign at the same distance. I like this gun but its too heavy for me to use as an everyday walk around plinker or to walk around the woods hunting. Its nice to have around the house and barn or to do some long distance target shooting while sitting at a bench or on the porch.

Things I liked:The scope for this air rifle is way too good. I'm tempted to put it on my 22 Magnum. Very nice wood. I like the stainless barrel too. It's a full size gun so it may be a "big gun" for kids under 16.

Things I would have changed:The dove tail scope base has a positioning post that does not allow you to slide the base forward. If you have a dremel grinding wheel..take that puppy right off. It is a bit heavy too. This rifle weights more than my Winchester 22 with a scope. What others should know:Be "Prepared" for the first shot...Oil in the piston chamber makes for a LOUD crack!! Sounds like I just shot a 17HMR. after the first couple of shots-it will quiet down to air gun level noise. But be aware when you add a couple of drops of oil into the chamber-Be ready for a big BANG. Another irritating thing is the loading breach is very tight and it hurts your fingers to push the ammo into it. I used a pen that had a rounded head on its cap. The trigger has way too much pull force on it. That is not adjustable. the "let off" stage is adjustable. This is the first firearm I have ever shot that makes your finger sore from pulling the trigger. No kidding.
This gun does shoot the pellets pretty hard. Best 3 pellets to use are: Beeman, Crow Magnum, Kodiak Match. JSB, Predator with the red stingers. Note: Beeman Silver Arrow pellets are very difficult to load and for that purpose I wouldn't buy them. It took a little while to sight in. kept getting stray shots that were not grouped. I hope it will kill skunks, that's what I intend to kill with this rifle. If it doesn't kill skunks? I laways have my 22 ready.
