Things I would have changed:I would give it a metal barrel
What others should know:if you are a collector. This would be the one to buy. Also does great with .20g pellets.

I use this 92FS airsoft as a trainer to the actual duty/personal sidearm I have used in combat (M9) and currently (92FS). I also use it to train my son and others in firearm use and safety. I really like the blow back action, as it gives it a little felt recoil. The accuracy is pretty good. And in the hand it feels much like the actual Beretta, except a bit lighter. It's very reliable with the .20g bio bb I have been using. And I will admit that it is really fun to just plink at cans and paper targets in the basement or yard.
Things I would have changed:Some of the functional features of the pistol are different to the actual 92FS. The safety/Decocker is just a safety lever that looks the slide in place, much like a 1911 it will stay locked and cocked. I would like it to decock. The orange cap adds a fair amount of length which causes issues with some holsters. I would change it to a cap that keeps the original barrel length. With the safety off simply pushing the hammer down will either cause gas to slowly leak or discharge a bb. The rear sight is notch and post like a military M9, the 92FS has a 3 dot. The things I would like changed would be the weight, have 2 rear sights one 3 dot, one notch and post. And definitely change the safety and hammer system, at least so it didn't leak when the hammer is pushed. Otherwise it's a very nice airsoft pistol, especially for the price.
What others should know:I'm fairly new to airsoft but have used bb/pellet guns my whole life. The Green Gas was something I had to get used to, as I was used to CO2 or spring type. Green is faster to reload then CO2, but a reload doesn't lost as long. It is nice having biodegradable bbs and not a bunch of empty CO2 bottles around. I'm sure there are still (steel and lead) bbs, pellets, and little CO2 bottles around my childhood home. The green gas and bio bbs are great because it leaves much less waste. I do recommend using a propane to green gas adapter as the propane is much much less than the actual green gas.
