This is the first faithful .177 caliber replica of the famous 7-1/2 inch barrel length 1873 Colt Peacemaker!

You'll marvel at the realism of this Colt Single Action Army revolver. Besides the incredible attention to detail on the gun, the box is also a nice surprise. It has a vintage look.

Unlike modern CO2 revolvers with a swing out cylinder, the Colt Peacemaker loads a bit differently, exactly like the legendary Colt Single Action Army, with each shell loaded separately through the loading gate on the right side of the frame. To load the Peacemaker, you place the hammer on half-cock, open the loading gate to expose the back of the cylinder, and manually rotate the cylinder to each chamber, loading fresh rounds or ejecting the fired shells as you go, by pushing the ejector rod. It's a real taste of the Old West, right down to the four distinct clicks as the hammer is cocked. It's a Colt Peacemaker in spirit, design, and name, and now for the first time with the original 7-1/2 inch barrel.*

*External barrel length is 7-1/2 inches measured from the front of the cylinder to the muzzle. The rifled .177 caliber barrel, recessed inside the .45 Colt barrel, is actually 6.75 inches in overall length.

Things I liked:

The look

Things I would have changed:

Nothing If it worked

What others should know:

I could shoot my gun only once, then the trigger got stucked, and when I put the second Co2 bottle and tied it up with the tool the gas went out completely around the seal.

Things I liked:

The gun is exactly what I hoped for. The build is phenomenal, and it has weight to it, which surprised me. That definitely let me know it's the real deal. First time purchasing, and was not disappointed by the gun or the website.

Things I would have changed:

Definitely the synthetic grips. They feel and sound extremely fragile. I don't plan on dropping the gun, but if I would, i'm sure the grips would break or get scratched. Possibly looking into custom made grips. While powerful, with it being a CO2 pellet gun, the shooting accuracy is a bit off, but not too extreme. Still enjoyable.

What others should know:

Definitely a must buy for any wild west reenactment (that allows guns), personal display, or just a fun time shooting in the backyard.

Things I liked:

The look, the details, the weight, the trigger, the ratcheting sound... the entire package is a very good replica execution. Almost knocked clean out of the park... almost.

Things I would have changed:

Accuracy! Mine is way off on point of impact versus point of aim. Like half a foot at 10 meters. It shoots 2 inches to the left and as much as 4 inches high! Now, the barrel is accurate, I get 1 inch 6 shot groups at 10 meters. It is just not properly aligned to the fixed sights, a big mistake for fixed sights gun! On half cocked, the cylinder port does not line up centered for loading like it does on the real deal. Therefore it is not fully exposed, you have to revolve it just a hair more to load a casing. You over shoot it when the cylinder comes loose from it's detent to revolve, this makes loading awkward and tedious. Should have moved the loading gate portion if need be so that it lines up appropriately with the cylinder ports. Also I was very displeased the casings are not brass like I have seen on many videos! They are the same nickel finish as the gun. I found this a big miss on a simple but highly effective and super cool detail that should be capitalized o

What others should know:

Maybe pay for the 10 for $10 on this one? I'm exchanging mine for another after long debate. I do not find the huge point of impact versus point of aim to be acceptable. I have to aim WAY off target essentially guessing about where it will actually hit. I have conferred with other owners who say theirs are quite spot on. Mine is not. I am a seasoned adult shooter, the gun is the issue.

  • richard from USA asked:

I heard that to fit the co2 cartridge in the grip frame they had to use a different frame than the SAA. I heard it was the 1860 army frame. Does anyone know if this is true?

    • mark from USA asked:

does this gun come with both wood looking and ivory looking grips? i heard it did so i wanted to make sure.

      • richard from USA answered:

I just received my colt 7-1/2 barrel ivory grip revolver and the brown grips were in the box under the cardboard

    • Wes from USA asked:

Is the barrel rifled or smooth bore ?

      • Paul from USA answered:

Read the specifications, it clearly states rifled.
