    Crosman 1760SE by Crosmaninformation

This classic Crosman air rifle is a fast and accurate rifle. It has the increased speed and velocity of a .177 caliber rifle that makes this gun perfect for small pest control and target shooting.

This handsome gun also features a handcrafted American hardwood stock. A longer breech accommodates a scope. This version also has a new rear site to allow for better target visibility to help punch out the bullseye on any target.

The 1760SE comes with a CenterPoint 6x32mm compact scope & rings. Scope is unmounted. It has an adjustable objective, parallax focus from 3 yds to infinity, red/green illuminated reticle, hunting turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, and flip-open lens covers. This scope has developed a strong fan following as a bug buster and delivers solid performance shot after shot.

Things I liked:I like almost everything about this rifle. Good solid construction and a nice looking stock. I suppose the stock could be better, the finish is sort of a satin, but it is tough enough that I don't worry about scratching it, and that's what I really like about it. This rifle shoots with the kind of repeatable accuracy that you would expect from a rimfire rifle. Of course, like any airgun, you occasionally get the wild pellet that hits way outside of where you expect, but those are few and far between. I think that that is more of a problem with the pellet than the gun. Also, I like the scope. It seems to be well made, despite the "Made in China" sticker. This is my first mil-dot scope and I find the extra dots to be very handy for long range shooting.
Things I would have changed:I have only one REAL complaint about this gun. The rear sight! What was Crosman thinking? there is no windage adjustment, and I had to take mine off and bend it a little in order to get it to go down low enough to shoot right. Other than that, I would prefer that it came with see-through scope rings because I like using both scope and open sights for different situations. I wouldn't really call that a complaint though as it really is just my personal preference.
What others should know:I said that I like the scope, but I have a feeling that most people will want greater magnification. The good news is that this gun has almost no recoil, unlike a springer. So, you can use pretty much any scope that you want without fear of damaging it, or having it move. One other thing, if it matters to you, this gun is made in the USA (but the scope is not).

Things I liked:I have (2) 2260's and wanted to see what this would be comparison wise. Per the other reviews fit and finish are very nice, it is a fine gun, form follows function. It shoots well out of the box and the groups are excellent. I like the simplicity of these as one may expect fewer problems from fewer seals and moving parts. I had to have 3 so I could shoot with my sons. These are a good size for both small and larger hands and arms.
Things I would have changed:3x9 scope...3x9 scope...can't see 30 yd holes with 6x scope with my parental eyes like mine. Sell the 2260 or 1760 with steel breech and let us have scope choice because the price difference doesn't add up!
What others should know:All my expectations have been met or exceeded.
