Information Crosman Quest 800X + 4x32mm scope | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Includes 4x32mm scope (not mounted). Take small game, plink or shoot targets with the Quest 800. This rifle sends .22 pellets screaming out the barrel at 800 fps! With only 37 lbs. cocking effort, this lightweight, powerful rifle is ideal for hours of serious shooting. The hardwood stock on this spring-piston breakbarrel rifle has a Monte Carlo buttstock. Details on this rifle make it obvious that Crosman put a lot of thought into the design of this handsome all-round airgun. The fiber optic front and rear (fully adjustable) sights (green front, two-dot red rear) ensure ease in acquiring your targets, even at dusk and dawn. To get the most accuracy from this rifle, mount the included scope on the 11mm dovetails. Don't worry about your mounts sliding off the dovetails; Crosman included a scope stop to support them whenever this powerhouse fires! The two-stage trigger is adjustable only for take-up (length of the first stage). Click for scope specifications

Reviews summary Crosman Quest 800X + 4x32mm scope
Things I liked:The power on it is great. I have had this gun for about three years now and it still shoots great! Things I would have changed:A little bit to hard to cock back but you get used to it because its so addicting to shoot What others should know:Very good gun. Good for its price. Things I liked:Good value for the money. A very powerful gun (I purchased the .22 caliber). The fiber optic sights are great. I did not try the scope. Build quality is very good for the cost. Things I would have changed:Redesign the cocking mechanism to make it a little easier to cock this gun. What others should know:After trying out this rifle a few times, I returned it because the cocking action is very difficult, a real arm-buster. I had never tried a break-barrel gun and wasn't prepared for how hard it is to cock this gun. It discouraged me from wanting to use it, so I am replacing it with a CO2-powered gun. If the designers could devise some kind of articulated linkage to reduce the effort needed, it would make using this gun much more pleasurable. While the CO2 gun will not have the power of the Quest 800, it won't wear out my left arm either. But if you don't have a problem cocking this gun, it is a great value.
