Less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The Daisy Powerline model 35 BB gun takes 3 to 10 pumps to send BBs up to 625 fps (pellets=605 fps). The texture on the grip and pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target. Ideal for plinking and target shooting. It's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults. The shooter and everyone in the range area should wear safety glasses when guns are present. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting area, as they may become excited. Plus, steel BBs can ricochet and could bounce back and hit them. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (metal plates, falling plates, etc.) or water, as both increase the chances of ricochet. Lead pellets can also ricochet, but not as often as BBs.

Things I liked: Easy to pump. 5-star accuracy *for such a cheap gun*. Easy to load bbs into the chamber. Light as a feather. Very quiet. Shoots accurately and quietly w/ only 2-3 pumps--crazy! ... But if you want more power, just pump up to 6 or 10 total.

Things I would have changed: For an adult, make it longer. For kids, perfect length. So, not a criticism, just a fact.

What others should know: Haven't used pellets yet, but big fun with 300 or so BBs. Marksman BBs are more accurate than Copperhead. Have fun!

Things I liked: light weight, and easy to handle, good to teach youngsters how to shoot a rifle.

Things I would have changed: accuracy, trigger pull, and the stock, and make the stock from wood.

What others should know: some people say that you can not mount a scope on a pump pneumatic, and i found out i that you can. you and mount scope rings as long as you have a filler, meaning pulling two strips of tape or duck tape. other wise the accuracy is ok, i have not found the best pellet to use for this gun, i got a 2 / 3 in group at 15 yards. the pellets were crosmen hunting pellets.

Things I liked: The feel is solid, not cheap like you might think a mostly-plastic gun would feel. It seems to be high-quality and durable. I have shot only about 200 rounds so far, but I am impressed to this point.

Things I would have changed: Rifled barrel would be nice. But if you want that, you could get a Daisy 880.

What others should know: When I first shot this gun I was disappointed because I was shooting Copperhead BB's. They were all over the place. I was getting 6-inch groups at 20 feet. I had no idea where the BB was going to hit. I almost returned the gun. Then I tried Daisy BB's and noticed that they were hitting in smaller groups. I read some good reviews about the Crosman Destroyer pellets in this gun and tried those. This morning I sited in the iron sites at 21 feet with the pellets, and this gun performed perfectly. I used 6 pumps to site it in, then tried a pellet at 10 pumps. Perfect. Just for fun I put in a Daisy BB again and it hit exactly where I pointed it. The BB penetrated further than the pellet through the magazines I was using as a backdrop. All in all I would recommend this gun. It is fun and powerful. Just use the right ammo. I have also read that the Crosman wadcutters are good in it too. I am glad I didn't give up with the Copperhead BB's. Do not use Copperhead BB's in this gun.
