Resounding knockdown power that will give you those one-shot kills you've been wanting.

Just because a gun is compact doesn't mean you have to give up anything in refinements, quality or accuracy. Well, at least that's how Evanix sees it!

With the Evanix Tactical Sniper carbine, use the smallbore calibers to shoot small- and medium-size pests that destroy your garden, dig up your plants or carry disease. Dispatch them comfortably with one shot, but know that backup shots are readily available with thhis repeater.

The big bore calibers are suited to larger game or taking smaller critters at further distances. Authoritative power that delivers one-shot kills.

You don't have to be a hunter to appreciate all the extras included in this compact shooter. Feel the quality oozing from every part as you shoulder your carbine to put lots of holes in paper targets, take out pesky dandelion puffs and split aspirins at distances usually reserved for those expensive 10-meter rifles!

So, what will you get with the carbine version of the Evanix Tactical Sniper? Accuracy. Power. Quality. Dependability. Isn't that everything you want from a gun?

Time to pull the trigger on this air gun and let the fun begin!

Tech talk: The Evanix Tactical Sniper series and the Evanix Rainstorm II rifles have the same valve, although the valve body sizes are slightly different. The actions are completely different. There are some small changes in the trigger, but the platform is the same. Evanix's ongoing tech improvements include better performance for the hammer weight, hammer spring and valve return spring.

Tech talk about .22-caliber: Our tech department shot the .22-cal. carbine with JSB pellets (15.89 grains). They got a high of 1027 fps and a low of 806 fps (after 22 shots -- 2 magazines). The reservoir was filled to 3,000 psi for this test and reflected 1,500 psi after the final shot.

Tech talk about .25-caliber: Our tech department shot the .25-cal. carbine with JSB Exact pellets (25.39 grains). They got a high of 923 fps and a low of 704 fps (after 20 shots -- 2 magazines). The reservoir was filled to 3,000 psi for this test and reflected 1,500 psi after the final shot.

Tech talk about .45-caliber: The trigger-pull is 6 lbs., 11 oz. Our tech department got 12 usable shots per fill, which took the reservoir pressure from 3,000 psi down to 1,400 psi.

Tech talk about .50-caliber: The .50-caliber barrel has a 1:18 twist, a bore diameter of 12.6mm (.49606") and a groove depth of 0.06mm (.0023622047").

Things I liked:

The gun looks good and has plenty of power for small to medium game .

Things I would have changed:

Maybe add some padding to the cheek rest.

What others should know:

This gun is loud. But you can find a silencer for it fairly easy

Things I liked:

Design looks fantastic. Pretty accurate with JSB Exacts and has sufficient FPS to use slugs accurately. Ergonomics are great as is the weight. This is in comparison to having a Benjamin Marauder and Hatsan Gladius. Adjustable stock is also a nice addition.

Things I would have changed:

Wish the stock could go shorter. Pretty loud without a moderator. Opening on the right that could get dirt into the internals (not a unique limitation for this air rifle). Wish it was a tad more accurate. My test and sighting were with .22 JSB Exacts with a shooting stand. In their defense, could also be in part from using .22 which Ive felt to be less consistent and accurate compared to .25 cal in other rifles. Would like this rifle to not have any issues if it drops below a certain air pressure. This is the second rifle I received since the first had a stuck pressure gauge. Arrived with ~175 bar. Fired two shots and it de-gassed itself (hissing sound from barrel), yet gauge stayed the same. Could pump the rifle up with a hand pup and tried a PCO compressor to no success. I never let air guns drop low, but combined with a defective gauge was a problem. Felt the operating range for this rifle was a bit narrow in terms of air pressure too.

What others should know:

Just dont let their air drop below what the manual states and check to make sure the gauge works. At its current pricing, its a great deal compared to an Armada. However my Gladius is more accurate and many times more quiet. Still quite happy with the gun on this second try!
