Sized for younger shooters, the Gamo G-Force Tac breakbarrel air gun gives that extra incentive for youngsters to learn to shoot. Cool tactical looks combined with a kid-friendly size and weight delivers a great shooting experience while teaching young gun handlers how to properly handle a gun.

Generally speaking, it's a good idea to teach new shooters how to use open sights and acquire the target. Once they've done that, you can mount a scope or dot sight and teach the basics of proper sighting with optics.

Things I liked:

For the price hard to beat.Very accurate at 10 yards. Good youth gun.Easy cocking..Will use it for youth training.

Things I would have changed:

For the price-nothing

What others should know:

Plastic sights but work good with my old eyes. Can scope it it want to..Clean barrel before using and after first using to get the oil out.

Things I liked:

it is a light weight easy to cock plinkster. Not too powerful, so it is good in smaller back yards. it isn't too loud so your neighbors won't be upset either. It is accurate, low recoil, and is fun to shoot.

Things I would have changed:

Other than everything on it is plastic, for the money not too much. the sights could be a little tougher, but they work fine

What others should know:

If you are looking for a back yard plinker this is your gun. It is accurate, it took less than 10 shots to sight in the open sights on it. the picanny rail on top lets you mount a nice scope if you want, tje low recoil lets you use almost any scope on it with out worry of wrecking it.

Things I liked:

The Picatinny top rail; tactical appearance; accuracy. Its a lot of fun to shoot and its a good plinker.

Things I would have changed:

Remove the side picatinny rails. Make the plastic open sights a bit more stronger. Gamo should not advertise the gun as 750 fps. I shot forty JSB 7.33 grain pellets over my chronograph and they average 459 fps. My Gamo Recons average 490 fps and the Recon is advertised as 525 fps.

What others should know:

My old eyes could not focus the open sights so I put a BSA 3-9x40 scope on the gun. The weight of the scope gives the gun a much more realistic feel. After a break-in session of 200 pellets the gun seems to be pretty accurate. I was able to hit the bulls eye on 4 Shoot-N-See targets at 17 yards. I did not like the picatinny side rails because they are right where my hand holds the rifle and it was uncomfortable. I removed the side rails and the rifle feels good in the hand. While I bought the rifle for plinking, I believe its going to be a fairly good target gun. I'm really enjoying this little gun! The rifle came with a BSA laser sight, which I found difficult to "sight-in". The POI kept changing, so I discarded the laser sight. Overall, I am happy with the G-Force rifle.
