Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Mounted a 4/32 Leapers scope.After sighting in fired six rounds at target about 35 feet distance.Five rounds entered bulls eye and a quarter coin covered them.The sixth round hit at about an inch and a quarter high at one o,clock.One fine weapon!!
Things I would have changed:Front sight hood was hard to remove to accommodate scope at low power. What others should know:Buy a good one to begin with. I found a Winchester on sale at Walmart as an upgrade from a multi-pump Crosman. It was an improvement but only made it clearer that I wasn't going to be happy until I had a quality air gun. You can spend more than I did on the Hammerli but I'm very happy with it and do not see myself outgrowing it. It's accurate enough for plinking with my buddies and has enough power to bust the occasional varmint.
