This air rifle combo is a complete hunting kit and has several nice upgrades you won't find in most other magnum air rifles. While many manufacturers make an accurate barrel, the downrange accuracy is often foiled by a bad trigger due to a heavy pull. Hatsan's proprietary Quattro trigger will surprise you with its adjustability and crisp release. Ideal for plinking, shooting spinners, popping paper targets and dispatching small rodents at close distances.

Please note: the cocking force for this air rifle is approximately 50 lbs.

Things I liked:

The price was right for a .25 caliber. The trigger is great and like where the safety is located out of the way of the trigger.

Things I would have changed:

I was unable sight the gun in with the supplied scope. With scope turned fully left and all the way down it still shot 6" high and 4' to the right. I called the great staff at Pyramyd Air and they put me in touch with Hatsan they quickly sent me a scope and the same thing happened. So I took the scope off and used their fixed sights and know I can shoot out about 25 yards enough for small game.

What others should know:

I am not saying Hatsan is a bad brand I am still happy with my purchase. As I put more rounds through it and keep trying different types and grain of bullet the rifle could become more accurate.

  • ad from Lebanon asked:

I have this air rifle, I'm using the iron sight on 15 meters, and accuracy is too bad, I can't get a fine grouping at all, pellets I use are crossman premeir hollow point cal .22, I bought it from a local store about 3 months ago and now I'm thinking of selling it again, not mentioning the the sling keep on rising after few shoot :@ , any suggestion to help me?

    • michael from India answered:

Hi , the best thing for all hatsan 1250 fps air rifles are the JSB pellets....try those. Also I recommend that the air rifle should breakin first.

    • Jerry from USA answered:

i would recommend replacing the scope

  • Richard from USA asked:

Is this the vortex or the spring?

    • Cory from USA answered:

This is the standard spring piston model.

  • Dave from USA asked:

I am planning on buying this Hatsan 125 sniper,in .22.as most have commented that the scope isn't that good,im also considering buying a better scope.my question is: since it has iron sights on it, will a 3x9x40 or 4x16x50 lens fit on this with out the iron sights blocking some of the view of the scope?

    • oats from USA answered:

Dave , the rear iron sight can be removed if you so desire , i did this on my hatsan 125 sniper in 25 caliber and mounted a Aeon 3x12x50mm side focus scope. I used the weaver mounts for mine with two piece heavy duty badger ordinance rings.

    • alex from Canada answered:

No scope can hold zero on this beast! so dont even waste your time. its better to use the sights, or get the new anti shock Diana scope mount, the bullseye.

    • Steven from USA answered:

with the 3X9X40 using Leapers UTG Max Strength LE Grade Quick Detach Picatinny Riflescope Rings Tube Diameter: 30 mm, Ring Height: High MPN: RQ2W3226 or RQ2W3224 Same Rings in the compact version would probably work with the 4X16X50 I don't know if you can see the open sights
