Things I liked:I like the 786 fps with lead and the full size design. It is a real rifle powered by air not black powder. 30 + FPE. It Is hefty and takes effort cock, but one thing to cosider is not CO2, or no air tank or pump needed. Self- contained rifle. I used a 31.40 grain Black Max alloy pellet and shoot through a heavy duty oil drum. It was at close range, but never the less. Awesome .25 caliber air rifle.
Things I would have changed:Nothing at all, the specs are true except it shoots harder and faster then listed at Pyramid Air.
What others should know:It is hefty and solid. Wonderful full size rifle.
Things I liked:For $229 this is a beast of a rifle and a great value. Raw power, scope/sight base, wood, the butt plate spacers. Though 9+ pounds the balance is good and not to hard to shoulder. Over all a nice power house rifle for the money, just eat your Wheaties!
Things I would have changed:Stock finish, the wood is nice, perhaps great when I get around to refinishing it. The finish is a flat satin hunter friendly, I will likely put some true oil on it. Lcd/moderator or longer barrel, this this is a beast to cock, any addition leverage is welcome, I will ad a Moderator to lower report and easy the cocking effort. The fire cycle is smother than I expected, but I plan to make spring guides and buttons on the rear cylinder. Swivels?...it's not bad to hold and shoot, but to carry a sling would be nice.
What others should know:I'm a 6'2" 53 yo female, plenty strong, but this thing takes my all to cock. it is easily the hardest to load springer I've owned, I bought an hw-90 over 20 years ago and it is easy compared to load compared to the hatsan 135. The sight/scope base allows either weaver or 11mm bases or rings, a very cool innovation. Initially it seems accurate, but I'll need to really test it more. Word is out, piston seals may fail over time, not the best material, I may do a 2nd review when and if this is an issue.
Things I liked:It is a beautiful gun and very well made. Very solid. The stock itself is probably worth the price that you pay for this gun.
Things I would have changed:Tune it down for accuracy as that really was poor even at 25 yards. I shot over 700 rounds through this gun using the Crossman Premier HP pellets and I had a huge problem grouping my shots and I used a rifle stand using a 4-16x50 UTG scope. I tried to zero it in but as I zero it, the shot would end up still off and I would just go back and forth trying to zero the gun to target but never get there. Very frustrating. Another area is that they should lock-tite all the screws as they keep coming loose. There are two screws under the trigger and one is a wood screw which is already strippped.
What others should know:This is a beautiful air rifle but the accuracy is inconsistent. You can hit your target if you are hunting but it will be random around your point of aim.
