Spring-powered guns are among the most reliable airsoft guns on the market due in part to very few breakable components that inhibit regular firing. The Mossberg Blackwater M590 is a solid pump action shotgun that has a reputation of powerful shot velocities at a weight that won't be a hassle to carry for extended airsoft skirmishes. This gun has a slime textured pistol grip that lets you concentrate on your targets for a smooth shot without worrying about the gun slipping when you fire. The Blackwater M590 also features a BAXS hop-up system for enhanced long range accuracy, a 180 rd magazine with BB reservoir and a shot velocity of 355 fps (using .12g BBs). Add a rifle scope on the top Weaver/Picatinny rails for added accuracy. Recommended for airsoft enthusiasts at any level of experience.

Things I liked: The shotgun is comfortable and light. The pump action is nice.
Things I would have changed: This Airsoft shotgun is 40% less powerful than it is advertised as. It is a waste to buy this for any other reason than backyard plinking at close targets. The magazine holds over 100+ bb's but only holds about 15 bb's in a spring fed section. This means that every 15 shots you will to pull back the spring with a tab and turn the gun and magazine upside down to try to get bb's to fall in the trough where the spring loader resides.
What others should know: Waste of money. Also, support at Pyramyd Air claimed that the information on the label (ergo the information provided on the website) was exaggerated a little by the manufacturer. If you think it is ok for Pyramyd Air to sell an item that is 40+% inferior in power than advertised as acceptable, then be my guest.
