Good things come in small packages, and the Russian-made IZH 61 is no exception!
This repeating air rifle is so much fun to shoot, you'll definitely have a tough time putting it down. A spring-powered gun, the IZH 61 is easy to cock and can be used by adults and youngsters (with adult supervision).
The trigger is adjustable for length of pull. The synthetic stock is adjustable for length (31" to 33"). The rear sight is a fully adjustable notch. The front sight is hooded. Load five pellets into the removable clip (2 clips included), insert it, cock the sidelever and start having fun!
You can add a red dot sight on the 11mm dovetails to get even more accuracy from this rifle. Speaking of accuracy...you probably won't outgrow the potential of this gun!

Almost everything.See below. This is a sweet rifle,shoots like a dream and will put several pellets thru the same hole,the rifle is far better than I am.This rifle is built in Russia,do not be put off by this,the build quality is better than most of my crosman and beeman air weapons. The IZH61 is a 5 shot repeater and they implemented the automatic magazine advance beautifully,it works great. This rifle is a joy to shoot,it is just plain fun!.
Things I Would Have ChangedScope mount (far too short to be usefull). Also,I would lower the price for additional magazines,they are pricey,but,you will want more than the two that are supplied with the rifle.
What Others Should KnowThe scope mount is far too short to be of any use,optics have no real secure mount to the rifle.
There is a cheap solution that I am using and am really happy with.
If you are like me and own several air pistols,as well as rifles,you are likely to also own one of the truely excellent crosman 2240's,I mention this because I found that the clamp style scope mounts from this pistol are a perfect fit for the rifle,I mounted mine with one of the mounts just forward of the breach and the other just rear of the barrel support,this gives a very secure mount for your optics,I am using a center point variable zoom scope on this rifle am very happy with the results.
Bottom line is that you will not be disappointed with this purchase,it really is a neat rifle that is a load of fun to shoot,has a light cocking effort and it just looks awesome.
Just remember this is NOT a hunting rifle,it is meant for target shooting and plinking fun.

Overall feel and looks of the air rifle. Weight and adjustable stock are great for my two Grandsons.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would defiantly include a second magazine w/ the Super Baikal set up - the fact that two are included w/ the other IZH Air Rifles led me to believe there would be two w/ this one. If I had known, I would have ordered a second one w/ mine.
What Others Should KnowSuggestion on types of cleaning kits would be nice. The video was good, but specifics on the exact model scope and accessories would have gotten me to order them w/ my Air Rifle. (I would still like that information!)
