Our tech department tested the .22-cal. gun. With 3 pumps, the Webley Alecto Ultra air pistol got 541 fps with 11.9-grain pellets.

The major difference between the Alecto Ultra air gun and the Alecto air gun is that this one has a longer barrel. It's 3" longer, in fact, and that accounts for the higher velocities you'll get. Like the other Alecto air pistol, you can start shooting this airgun the minute it arrives. No CO2, no adapters, no hoses, no tanks...just load a pellet and let 'er rip!

*The Alecto's trigger can be canted to the right or left. The gun comes with right-hand grips only. If you're left handed, remember to buy the appropriate grips (item code WEB-Z1552).

Things I liked:

I paid more then you can get them for now, that's the reason I took a star away. I also don't have the Ultra model, mine doesn't have the longer barrel, it's also .177 The trigger is SWEET!!! The cant, angle, take-up, pull, all adjustable, I think ALL triggers should be this sweet! Really, the cops got involved once (I was in the right) and even they commented on what a fine pistol it is. May be a little snug for larger hands due to the way it wraps around and supposed to fit. It's as accurate as any 10m pistol I'll bet. Someone that can shoot a Bakial or PCP well can shoot this too, it's that accurate, I chose the shorter barrel because it's already one of the MOST powerful true pistols on the market with 3 pumps, I rarely use three and mostly use one for 10m indoor shooting, it like all kinds of pellets and not finicky at all.

Things I would have changed:

Man, I don't know, maybe make the sites easier to see, they are completely adjustable so they are nice and even the front site flips for accuracy or quickness. (Flipped it fills back site slot up more or down makes it skinny, nice feature just needs to be painted red or white. Pellets aren't too hard to load, but by design takes a little effort in these types of pistols, Beemans', Crosmans' are the same, might be trouble for some without feeling in fingers or other disability to load easily, but for most it's part of a single shot accurate pistol to be a pain to load, although I've never had a problem and consider most people won't either.

What others should know:

It's a quality piece, it's always around for a quick shot, it's right handed only unless you buy left handed grip where it will be lefty only. Webley Scott Alecto is a great pistol for 10m without breaking the bank. I've had mine for 4+ years and it doesn't leak or show any signs of weakness. @ 3 pumps it starts getting loud, @ single pumps it's quite manageable in noise. Also at single pump 10m shooting it's almost recoilless, and with its outstanding trigger I'm telling you one can shoot at a competitive level all day long, it's super easy to pump the one time, and exponentially harder every pump after, up to three. Hits hard, super super accurate, wonderful trigger, easy to pump once, doable certainly to three if needed, the trigger, did I mention the trigger? Lol and one more thing, it's accurate as the day is longggg!

Things I liked:

Hefty and solid. Accurate, good velocity on three pumps.

What others should know:

I have equipped mine with a Led sniper tactical Compact Pistol Rail Red Laser Sight 20mm Picatinny Weaver Rail. sold by led sniper. This laser sight is small enough not to interfere with cocking.

Things I liked:

Accuracy is good for 10m practice. Grip was awesome (left handed grip, at least). Trigger feels pretty good. Not quite as accurate as my Alfa Proj, but half the price.

Things I would have changed:

Other than the price tag, Id say maybe an ambidextrous grip, so us lefties don't have to buy a separate grip.

What others should know:

I opted for this version over the shorter version for my 10m practicing. 2 pumps was good for that. I got it so I wouldn't have to re-fill my PCP every single time I practiced. It serves this purpose well.

Is the Ultra still being manufactured? It seems hard to find.

At this time, I don't believe so.

    CAN YOU INCREASE POWER

    • Heyward from USA answered:

Chech out YouTube. You can adjust the pressure relief valve. Not recommended but my .177 ultra will hold 5 pumps and make 8+ft./lbs. of energy. You also can buy seal kits from the U.K. F.Y.I.

      Not to my knowledge

  • jason from USA asked:

Where can you buy the barrel for this gun? I have an Alecto but would love to put the Ultra barrel on it. I can't seem to find anywhere that sells this separately.

I found this website gunspares.co.uk / T W Chambers it says extended barrels with silencers available soon made with lothar walther match barrels.
