  • Webley Rebel air rifle
  • Mutli-pump pneumatic (up to 8 pumps)
  • Single-shot
  • Bolt-action (push bolt) cocking
  • Manual safety
  • Synthetic Monte Carlo stock
  • Stippled pistol grip and forearm (pump handle)
  • Raised right-hand cheekpiece
  • Fixed fiber optic front sight
  • Fully adjustable fiber optic rear sight mounts on scope dovetail grooves
  • 11mm dovetail grooves

The manufacturer's spec sheet for this air rifle incorrectly states it has a ramp front sight with a post and a rear peep sight. Both front and rear sights are fiber optics.

Generally speaking, a multi-pump should have a pump or two put into it when you put it away after shooting. But don't do that with the Webley Rebel, as putting a pump into this gun cocks it!

Use Crosman Pellgunoil on the pump handle's hinge to keep it functioning properly for years. Just a couple drops every 200 shots or so will keep your gun in good working order.

Multi-pump pneumatic guns are ideal for people who have many different uses for their airguns. Pump your Webley Rebel air rifle 3 times, and you'll have a great little plinking gun. Pump it up more, and you can take out small rodents. If hunting is your main reason for buying this air rifle, we suggest you get .22 caliber.

Things I liked: accuracy

Things I would have changed: seals

What others should know: This is the 2nd Webley Rebel and after 25 Rnds it now misfires after or about 3 pumps. Just like the 1st one did. Trading it out for another replacement seems futile. If Pyramid air doesn't supply new seals I'll determine other remedies.

Things I liked: Composite components

Things I would have changed: Rear sight should be more rearward for a longer sight radius, or perhaps equidistant at middle of receiver so that see-through scope rings could be utilized

What others should know: Sent it back for a "tech-check" because it would auto discharge at two to four pumps, but the 15 to 20 rounds I put thuough it before it malfunctioned seemed ballistically ok.

Things I liked: I like controlling the amount of power this rifle puts out. 1 to 4 pumps is great for target. More pumps for longer shots !!!

Things I would have changed: More metal parts would be better then plastic - I think the rifle deserves that !

What others should know: If your an old time pumper like I am, you'll enjoy this type rifle. I put a nice scope on it for long shots, and this rifle hits it mark every time !

Is the receiver plastic or steel?

    • Mike Ogden from usa asked:

What is the pull weight on the trigger and how is the travel and break?

      • Dan the Man from USA:

2 lbs, very crisp on the break.

    • hegshen@yahoo.com from USA asked:

How's the build quality? I haven't found any actual reviews of the gun online, but have heard any of them are failing. Anyone with first hand experience?

      • Keith from USA:

Keith From California I have the original Sharps Innova which the Rebel is a copy of and one of these in 22 cal, the receiver is a heavy plastic polymer, the pull weight is short of 4lbs give or take but I found that this perfect for this gun and I have had my Innova for 10 years with no problem and my rebel just short of two years. There easy to maintain just clean the barrels after a few hundred shots and add crosman pell gun oil when needed and your good to go. I bought my Innova for rabbit hunting and can knock out a long ear at 75 yards - but the innova's fps is 1100. The Rebel has enough power nail a long ear at 35 to 40 yards. You have to remember they are set at 12lbs because of the English airgun laws but with some re-tuning it can get the 18lbs back and be like it's grandfather the Innova

        overall quality is pretty good
