Things I liked: I do not live and breathe air guns but this is the best pellet (out of four other types) I've used in my 0.177 Hatsan Edge Vortex. Precision is the key word here.
Things I would have changed: Nothing to see here...
What others should know: The fit of these pellets in the breech is very precise. Out of 2,000, ZERO have fallen from the breech. Other 0.177 pellets, e.g., those found at Wallies, have fallen out of the breech without me knowing it.
Things I liked: Coating is a good idea
What others should know: They do not work in my Sig Sauer P226. Constant jams in 16 shot double 8 rotary magazine.
Things I liked: Priced well and they shoot well in my Izshmash Model 61.
Things I would have changed: Sometimes the quality looks a little suspect but they still shoot well.
What others should know: The only reason I made the overall rating 4 stars is because of the perception of lack of total quality control but as I said, they still shoot well and work great in this particular rifle. I tried them in my FWB 300s and they were not that great.
Beeman, made in China? whats wrong with this picture? William is correct imho, run from this pellet. and Beeman, shame on you.
Since ALL pellets are coated with something (usually graphite), what's so different about these? What exactly are they coated with? I see that they are manufactured in China, and not in Europe, as many other Beeman pellets are. Is the coating metal plating or some kind of Chinese mystery dust, or maybe even something radioactive? Since it is entirely possible that I might err and put my finger in my mouth after touching them, I'd like to know what might be the consequences of such an action?
Not knowing what the coating is, does the coating leave anything in the gun? or demand any special cleaning method?
The coatings on pellets actually make them more accurate the more you fire.
