Leaves little to no residue on my fingers or in the gun. Grouping is great under 30 yards. The angular head punches pretty clean holes through paper, so next to match pellets, this would be my pick for target shooting and sighting in. Expansion is crazy good... quite often, recovered pellets have doubled in diameter. Things I would have changed:The lid, as so many hundreds of other people have mentioned with Beeman pellets. But I transfer them to a carrying pouch or different tin anyway, so it's not really a huge deal. What others should know:These can be a little trickier to load than round/pointed/diabolo shaped pellets, especially in low light conditions when you're going primarily by feel. In my experience, the range for best accuracy is limited to just over 30 yards... after that they start to become progressively unstable in flight. Even so, I've had little problem taking out birds as far away as 50 yards. Anything over that and it's a toss-up. These are one of my favorite pellets for my TX200 for hunting, plinking, and target shooting. I've heard other people say the skirts are too soft, but I've never gotten a bad tin yet. This is probably because Pyramyd Air packs them so well for shipment. Take advantage of PA's "buy 3 get one free" deal and you won't find a better price anywhere!

The hollowpoint design and the inherent accuracy are what I was looking for.

But not much good after 50 yards unless there is little or no wind. Things I would have changed:Change the Design, so the wind does effect the flight so much. lower the price About $2.00 Per 500 because its not much good for long shots. What others should know:I Rated it a 4 star on Overall rating, because it's not very good after 50 yards because of its Shape. Great groups hard hitting but wind does seem to effect flight more than other pellets in its class. I'll always use this Pellet for short shots under 50 yards, Just love the hitting power.

Things I would have changed:Offer these in several diameters, the standard diameter is too large for my airguns. What others should know:I have had poor accuracy with this pellet, probably due to the very tight fit in my HW95s bore (also tight in my other airguns, but they are low velocity target guns), I resized some in my Beeman pel-sizer with the smallest die, this seemed to help a bit, but the head of the "crow" is still a tight fit and needs to be seated with a tool or careful finger pressure to prevent protruding skirts from being deformed by the powerplant face. By "poor accuracy" I mean 2"-3" offhand groups at 20 yards and occasional fliers even farther off than that...with most other pellets I am under 1" at that range and the ones that go well wide are because I pulled the shot, not at random like with the crow mags. I can't tell you what the impact from this pellet is like since I have yet to hit a starling with one.....with JSB domed pellets under similar conditions I have about a 33% hit rate and 100% first shot kill ratio so far, guess I'll stick with them.

What others should know:I noticed a curious thing at the range. Crow-magnums (8.8grains) were shooting 4-5 inches lower at 25 yards than eunjins (16.1grains) through my Whisper. I guess the only explaination is aerodynamics, right? Since they have so much air friction I am wondering if they would start to drop precipitously at longer ranges.

My old Walther LGR is picky in the extreme about which ammo it will shoot and so I was surprised to find that these shoot as well as the RWS Meisterkugeln that I normally feed it. These are long pellets and so seem to be very stable at longer ranges. I like to shoot at a shillouette swinger (chicken) at 50 yards as I don't have to continually re-set it. With these I can consistantly hit it and get a good deal of swing out of the target. This confers good energy transfer and good consistancy in the pellet its self as a target this size at 50 yards can be a challenge. Especially off hand with an airgun. Things I would have changed:Just a bit pricy. What others should know:Great hunting ammo that shoots nearly as accurately as match grade pellets.

I did some testing and shot into wet phonebooks at 3 yards instead of downward into a bucket of water. My RWS Diana model 34 was used for this test. Wet phonebooks that are saturated and shot "endwise" are the poor man's ballistic gelatin and it shows great bullet channels and depth similar to muscle tissue. I shot five times into various areas of the book. Each pellet averaged 2-3/8" into the phone book and the wound channel was very wide (3/8') for the first inch of depth indicating great energy transfer. after the first inch of depth the pellet seemed to expand to its maximun size and traveled another 1-3/8" into the book. Each pellet uniformly expanded to a full .25 inch as with my first water test. I finally got the chance at a garden munching rabbit today from a distance of 7 yards. I haven't recovered the pellet yet, but the pellet entered and did not exit so finding it shouldn't be a problem. [I] believe that these pellets do some serious damage without overpenetrating. These might be the ultimate hunting pellet for high powered springers.

Things I would have changed:The tin needs a screw on top What others should know:If you have more than one air gun in the same cal. give them a try, if not give them a try anyway it is only money you make more tomorrow.

Things I liked:Everything, they hit like a lightning bolt! Things I would have changed:Shipping costs What others should know:The top only slides on... don't pick up the can by the top!

Things I liked:Grouped well out of my 700 fps Chinese break barrel gun. Things I would have changed:Screw cap lid would be nice. What others should know:Not sure why, but they are rather difficult to load in my gun. I really had to wiggle & force them in. These are my first hollow point style pellet, so maybe this is normal

What others should know:Not sure why, but they are rather difficult to load in my gun. I really had to wiggle & force them in. These are my first hollow point style pellet, so maybe this is normal. Also, looking at recovered pellets, I noticed my flat pointed ones all looked to hit head on, but these appeared to hit sideways at impact. the holes were larger, however, and they still grouped well. Have not had the opportunity to try on game yet.

Things I liked:Super happy!!..There is nothing more to say about these pellets that was already said in previous reviews. Things I would have changed:Nothing to change...just add a foam liner and a screw on top lid to make the perfect buy. What others should know:Excellet accuracy in my GAMO Whisper. Buy them, try them

Things I liked:Its relativly soft lead and yet strong, pellets hold their shape pretty good while in the tin and/or a pocket. Very good consistency between pellets. Its .178 cal to take full advantage of your rifling. Things I would have changed:Nothing I can think of at the moment. What others should know:I shoot these

What others should know:I shoot these in my Gamo Hunter Hurricane 1250 at 1,100 fps, they litterally almost rip starlings in half at 25 yards. They even hit when i miss! Shot too low, hit the ground, bounced up, knocked the bird dead.

Things I liked:Buy ME!!!! ( one of my favorite types pellets) Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:To begin with, these pellets are some of the most popular. The expansive cup really does wonders. The other day I did a test with all of the pellets I owned and these were by far the most effective in terms of impact. I was shooting at a plastic vitamin water bottle and it left a really mean exit wound. Also I fired a few shots at a 2x4 and these made the biggest hole. You should try them.

Things I liked:I needed a pellet that hit hard, and what I was using was a pointed head type. Well it will not work with Squirrels! They take off like it never hit them and if it's a good head shoot they still seem to get going! I saw the crow-magnum and thought "can this get the result I need? Lets see" I shoot the first squirrel and it went

I even took a pellet out of a squirrel and saw that it really expanded allot not sure the size but allot bigger than I started with. Things I would have changed:Nothing it's an awesome pellet! What others should know:Keep up the awesome job!

Things I liked:Made my RWS Mdl 48 shoot like a dream. I was using RWS Superdome 8.3gr and this was jumping around 1/2" at long ranges of 40 yards plus. Adding just .5 gr with this 8.8 gr tunes her down to hitting each other's edge at 40. Last three shot could be coverd with a dime. Power WHOW! 1x4" board took out a hole about 7.5 mm, 1/2 wide

Things I liked:Let me tell you that the .177 Crow-Magnum is an awesome pellet! I never shoot a Crow, but let me tell you it can take a Squirrel out in a hart beat! It will bring down a varmint in a second. By the way it went from a .177 to a .22 Cal when I retrieved it from a squirrel. Things I would have changed:Nothing.

Things I liked:These pellets hit like a bomb. I put these in my anics skif a-3000 and it would blow holes through bars of soap at about 10 ft. the exits would be about 1 1/2 times the size of the entry. Things I would have changed:these pellets kept jamming in my repeater. that sucked. What others should know:if you want

Things I liked:These are high quality pellets that shoot very well. I shoot them from my Gamo CFX, and they shoot at 840fps - actually about 50 fps faster than the lighter Crosman premier lights for some reason. VERY accurate and consistant. I've taken many chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. This pellet is my first choice in that gun! Things

I've taken many chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. This pellet is my first choice in that gun! Things I would have changed:They don't really expand in an animal - I've recovered them from various animals to check for expansion and can confirm that they really don't expand, regardless of where they strike the animal. What others should know:The shape doesn't lend itself to longer range accuracy...it's likely to lose velocity very quickly, but is an excellent choice out to 25 yards or so.

Things I liked:expantion
effective one shot kills
accurate Things I would have changed:the name
i think pigeon or rat magnum would sound dumb too

to about a 1/4 in
limited penitration

Things I liked:Accuracy, terminal ballistics. Things I would have changed:Great as is. What others should know:These pellets are a bit longer than others, so don't use these in repeaters such as the Crosman 1008 CO2 pistol.

What others should know:I use these pellets in my Beeman R10, shots average 850fps measured with my chronograph. They give me the highest energy when compared to the kodiak (to heavy, lower velocity) and the silver sting (lighter but only about 10 fps faster with the R10) .
