Things I liked:MADE IN THE USA! Very accurate and well built. A testament to Crosman's quality. Things I would have changed:Nothing. What others should know: I have noted that some complain about the use of plastic for the grip, forearm and breech. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the function of these parts.

I am sure this is one way that Crosman continues to make this an affordable pistol and I appreciate that.

Air pressure port and seal underneath the barrel are off-center, meaning that the barrel is not parallel with the air chamber underneath. Plastic grips make the gun appear cheap. What others should know:As mentioned by others, get the Steel Breech kit from Crosman, it is a definite improvement and has dovetail groove for scope. Also, the wood grips available from RBgrips are worth it for those that don't like the plastic. My suggestion to Crosman is to start putting the steel breech kit on at the factory during manufacture, charge an extra $30 for the gun, and save people the trouble of doing this yourself (even though it was easy) - it would not be much fun without it. Of course, adding the steel breech and wood grips basically gives you a similar product as the Benjamin HB17, for about the same amount of money. Otherwise, great shooter and very accurate for a pistol. And keep that pump cup moist with Pellgunoil, it should last a long time.

Rear sight's silly-cheap, but works. But since one has to LOOK at it all the time it'd be nice if it was not just a stamped slot with a screw. What others should know:Just buy one and try filling the grips with BBs to improve balance.

Things I would have changed:perhaps a dovetail grooved barrel, and a little better smoothing around the trigger area. maybe a "quick change" grip setup to make switching to the rifle stock and back easier for backpacking. What others should know:add the rifle stock for greater stability, maybe a pistol scope, this will only make a great pistol better.

Things I liked:Simple to use and accurate for a pistol. Things I would have changed:Real wood instead of plastic would be great. What others should know:I purchased this for my 13 and 11 year old sons. It is a great first air pistol and should last for years to come.

Things I liked:POWER, SERIOUS AIRPISTOL, VERY ACCURATE, GOOD FOR SMALL GAME Things I would have changed:GRIPS, YOU NEED TO WORK ON THE REAR OPEN SIGHT, PRACTICE AND ZERO IT IN. What others should know:KEEP ONE PUMP IN THE PISTOL WHEN NOT IN USE TO PROTECT THE SEALS , AND POWERPLANT.

AT 10 PUMPS YOU WILL GET 600 FPS, I HAVE WITH 11.5 GRAIN .177 PELLETS THATS 12 FPE. ALWAYS KEEP 1 PUMP WHEN NOT IN USE IN THE PISTOL TO PROTECT THE SEALS AND POWERPLANT.

What others should know:if your wanting to have a hand gun that you can change into a carbine this is the gun for you.. pump.. so no co2. which means less cost a little muscle grease.. and bam.. you still kick more fps then anything at its price.. just wished it came with dovetails for a scope is all..

Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:be sure when you get this pistol you tighten all the screws. after only like 50 shots the handel starting getting very loose and felt liki it was going to twist off. so i took it apart and retightined all the screw and now she is stought.
i get 455FPS with &gr pellets with only 8 pumps. at 10 pumps there was no real difference.
