Servicing of the
rifle:
I. Filling of the
gas container:
The gas container is to be filled by means of a transfer valve
delivered with rifle, from bulb 125 g of CO2
1) Make sure that the
transfer valve is firmly screwed in.
2) By lifting the bolt
handle upward we release the bolt.
3) The striking
mechanism of the rifle is cocked by pulling the bolt backward.
This is
secured the closure of a charging valve and the free escape of gas
from the barrel is prevented.
4) Close the breech.
5) Remove the closure of
the transfer valve.
6) Screw softly a bulb
into the thread of the transfer valve till a closing of a
valve is
spontaneously penetrated (it is indicated by audible hiss and violent
cooling
down of the bulb).
7) The rifle is to be
held then in a vertical position with the barrel upward in
order to ensure the complete filling of the container.
8) Unscrew the bulb from
transfer valve.
9) Close the transfer
valve again by the closure.
10) By release of cocked mechanism make sure that
container is full and
assembly works properly.
n. Use of standard
CO2 bulb 7/12 grams
1) Activate the trigger
of an unloaded gun to make sure that arm is not under
pressure.
2) If yes, blow off the
gas by pushing warning device until charging valve is
opened.
3) Unscrew tranfer
valve.
4) See para. 4, ad. 2 to
4.
5) Insert bulb into container
with closure positioned out of container.
6) Screw on closure cap
with TAU needle (does not belong to accessories of
rifle)
until this needle punctures the bulb.
7) Increased resitance
eventually weak hiss is a proof that the puncture was
completed. For fastening the the corresponding nut it is advaqntageous to
use nut
wrench which belongs to accessories. Activate trigger of unloaded
gun to
make sure that the propellant gas has been released from bulb.
Periodical
smearing of loading cone of a vessel and inspection of "O" ring
on the
closure cap is recommended and it should be done when changing
the
bulb. "O" ring may be somewhat swollen if exposed to the effect of
carbon dioxid for some time. This swelling is temporary and disappears
within
the period of 1 to 3 hours. In order to prevent damage to a sealing
always
alternate closure cap when changing bulb.
III. Loading of the rifle
1) Lift bolt handle
upward and release the bolt.
2) Pull bolt backward
cock the striking assembly of rifle.
3) Insert a pellet into
groove of loading adaptor.
Push pellet into
grooves of the barrel by reverse movement of the breech and close the chamber.
Rifle is ready for shooting now.
IV. Training of shooter's habits (with empty gun)
1) Lift the bolt handle
upward and cock striking assembly by backward
movement of the bolt.
2) Turn the bolt handle
downward in the moment when the bolt is in the
utmost
rear position. The handle should fit the rear recess in the jacket of
the barrel.
3) Activate the trigger.
4) Any further cocing
should be made only by pulling of the bolt handle
backward
without its lifting up.
Shooting with an
empty gun serves as a training of shooter's habits. Complete process of the
shot is realised in the striking assembly by activating the trigger but without opening the
charging valve. The shooter perceives the shot by soft vibration. Do not
insert pellet into barrel. A consumption of gas does not exist.
V. Discharge of gas pressure
Do not leave the rifle
under pressure after termination of shooting for longer time in order not to
strain excessively the sealing of the gun. Discharge the gas pressure by pushing
warning device into the gun until the charging valve is opened and gas leaks
out.
VI. Adjustment
Sights:
It is possible to
make precise correction during shooting-in of the gun by screwing micrometrical
rear-sight screws. Head of a micrometrical screw for lateral adjustment is situared on the
right side and on the left side there is head for vertical correction. Displacement direction of the mean impact point is
marked in the upper surface of the
rear sight leaf. One step means 2.4 mm at the distance of 10 m in both directions. Exchangeable front sights
and rear-singht leaves of various
widths belong to special accessories. These can be exchanged after loosening
of the screws. Choose the most suitable
sizes and combine them according
to sight dispositions and illumination.
VII. Balancing
Detachable collar weights
can be added to or removed from the barrel. These weights can be
gradually set to or removed from the barrel by screws situated in their lower parts, the layout of the proper weight can be thus properly
adopted. The
front sight tunnel is movable on the barrel forward thus shotening the aiming line. This is, for instance, very suitable
for beginners. These weights can be delivered
on a special wish.
VIII. Adjustment of the trigger assembly
Construction of the
asembly ensures regular and long lasting constant trigger pull weight.
Complete assembly includes: reduction lever, trigger lever with reducting screws and
trigget with traversable latch.
Ensclosed drawing shows trigger and striking assemblies.
1) Adjustment of the trigger position
Adjustment of the trigger mechanism is to be done from the left side of
the gun. The optimal distance from the upper side of pistol grip - i.e.
distance corresponding with the lenght of a finger can be adjusted by loosening
of the
screw in trigger latch. If necessary, vertical and axial reset of the trigger can be made. To do
that, take off the trigger latch, loose nut M5, separate stock from metallic
parts and carry out requested setting of the trigger beam.
2) Adjustment of the trigger pull weight
Use screwdriver pushed through the oval hole in the trigger guard.
There are
three screws situated there and adjustment is to be done by the first screw nearest to the
barrel. Turn it clockwise to increase, reverse to decrease. If necessary, the
trigger pull weight can be increased by inserting trigger pull weight spring into
trigger assembly after its dismantling. This spring can be found among
accessories.
IX. Adjustment of the trigger charakteristics
The trigger assembly
is automaticlly tuned as a two-stage pull trigger. By turning the adjusting screw located before
the trigger it is possible to achieve single
pull trigger with either a longer smooth continuos trigger pull or a very short, almost instant trigger action. To get a
basic two-stage pull trigger following adjustments should be done: cock
the bolt and screw in first left screw until the
goes off. Then turn this screw one turn anticlockwise. Do The same with the central
screw with following exception: unscrew it back 1-2 turns.
It is quite easy to change this two-stage
pull trigger into single-stage one. When instant trigger action is required screw in the central screw for
about one turn. Longer smooth continuous trigger pull can be
achieved by screwing off the same adjusting screw half a turn. Generally
speaking, turning adjusting screws clock\\ise means increase, reverse means
decrease.
Do not screw these screws more than one quarter of a complete turn
at one go and
regularly control the adjustment by shooting with empty gun. It can happen that cocked rifle
cannot be activated. It means that adjusting screws are too loose. On the other hand,
when adjusting screws are screwed in too tinghtly then the striking mechanism
cannot be cocked. The adjustment of the trigger characteristics is relatively
complicated and this operation can be recommended only to technically
experienced people.
X. Adjustment of muzzle
velocity V0
Muzzle velocity is
present to an optimal velocity of 125- 150m/sec. by the manufacturer.
Adjustment can be done by performance screw, through \\ich the warning device
leads. After loosening of securing grub screw \\ich is positioned on the forehead of the
above mentioned performance screw. Clockwise turning of performance screw means
compressin of striking spring and increase of muzzle velocity (V0),
anticlockwise turning means decrease of V0.
ATTENTION! Grub screw must be always firmly tightened
otherwise performance screw turns spontaneously when the gun is being loaded.
Operation:
Due to physical propertiens
of liquified CO, the range of working temperatures is up to 30°C. But rifle functions properly even at temperatures -5°C up to 40°C.
Maintenance:
Due to minimal number
of mobile parts and their power tension the maintenance is limited to periodic
preservation - application of some fine oil.
