Things I liked:

Durability and rails of the steel breech and the tools included with the sight

Things I would have changed:

I would add a little marker on the breech and and sight so I know I have the sight lined up perfectly in the middle of the breech

What others should know:

I bought 4 of these breech and sight combos. on some of the bolt handles I have a hard time pulling the bolt back if the handle is screwed in all the way. which means I have to loosen the handle slightly before I can pull and cock the gun all the way.

Things I liked:

Nothing, seems to be a used item or a bad batch. Missing the rear screw. Small dings in finish.

Things I would have changed:

Quality control. Will wait for new batch and reorder. Will return next time if bad.

What others should know:

The breech screw hole was to large. If screwed to proper torque it was to deep in breech (Pellets would not slide over breech screw hole). Had to back out screw until pellets would slide over hole smoothly. Now there is the possibility of seal leaks due to screw not properly tightened. Unfortunately I must keep this item for use of the scope mount until it can be replaced.

    Things I liked:

    The steel breach is nice.

    Things I would have changed:

The LPA rear sight is for pistols!!!!! If you plan on putting this on a rifle, like the 3622 or other rifle don't. The sight gap is too large across because your eye is a lot closer to the sight with a rifle than with a pistol. Pretty much I rated this combination so low because of the sight. Although I should have known the photos show the sight on a pistol.

    What others should know:

The sight is a pistol sight you will be disappointed if you put this on a rifle. The gap for seeing the post it too wide.

    Things I liked:

The sales staff were very helpful when I purchased the Crosman 2240 with steel breech upgrade/LPA rear sight and accessories. The sales representative provided good guidance on what to buy, including discount prices for pellets and CO2 cylinder.

    Things I would have changed:

Pyramyd Air packing/shipping employees require much better training. The package arrived with no external damage but the inside was a mess. There was little packing material inside. The Crosman 2240 pistol bolt handle had punctured its manufacturer's box. The steel breech upgrade bolt, a steel part, was bent rendering it useless. Simply due to careless packing. Pyramyd would benefit from the Crosman response: not requiring return of the complete package (that is unnecessarily costly and time consuming for both Pyramyd and me, rather replacing the damaged parts which I would have returned.

    What others should know:

Upon calling Pyramyd Air to inform them of the damage and to request a replacement part, the customer support staff said they will not replace any parts but to return the entire package. Instead, I called Crosman, who, free of charge, sent a replacement bolt, bolt handle and breech screw. Above and beyond what was necessary - even when I offered to pay for the non-damaged parts! THANK YOU Crosman. I will most likely continue to purchase from Pyramyd Air, and, for now, will consider this a one-off issue.

    Things I liked:

The ability to mount scopes and such to the gun. Installation was pretty straightforward.

    Things I would have changed:

I have pellet feeding issues with this steel breech kit for some reason. The pellet head gets stuck going in when pushed with the "pin". I have to guide the head in the hole first before it can be pushed and locked. The cocking lever also doesn't fit in the groove when completely screwed in tight. The vertical groove seems to be too narrow for the cocking lever width. What i did was i loctite'd it at a looser position just so it can be locked into the groove. I didn't have these issues on the steel breech kit on my 1377.

    What others should know:

Despite the said issues, getting the steel breech kit upgrade is still a necessity if you want to shoot farther accurately.

    Things I liked:

This makes the Crosman 1322 feel like a real firearm.

    Things I would have changed:

Make this part standard on the 1322.

    What others should know:

Super easy job to do. All one needs is attention to detail, a screw driver and the supplied tools. I like this mod so much I bought two.

    Things I liked:

Thank you Pyramyd! My exchange/replacement for the Crosman LPA was more than I anticipated. The dilemma that I now have will be a pleasure to address.

    Things I would have changed:

Not sure, not much. I've been a customer since 2007

    What others should know:

Pyramyd has a very good return/exchange policy. Occasionally shipping maybe slow and somewhat costly, but it balances out.

    Things I liked:

Went together easily and gives the pistol a more solid feel.

    Things I would have changed:

    None

    What others should know:

Be sure to flatten the rear sight to allow access to the Allen screws to tighten the sight.

    Things I liked:

    Steel! Quality of the site.

    Things I would have changed:

Clearer installation instructions - it was simple to figure out, but directions could be easier. Also - and this is for Crosman - would be nice if there was a steel upgrade for the front sight included as part of the kit. The steel breech and sight are a good upgrade but you're still stuck with the plastic front. The biggest thing is the rear sight does not provide enough horizontal adjustment. It shoots high and cannot be adjusted enough to shoot to point of aim. I'm not aware of any taller front sight blades -- which should be part of any such kit -- so I'll be searching around for a solution. I like the steel and the quality of the sight is good, just seems a company like Crosman wouldn't market products with these issues. Rated 3 stars overall because I have to fab something to address the front sight issue. Otherwise, I'd rate 5 overall.

    What others should know:

The upgrade is worth it for the aesthetics and "feel," as well as for anyone adding an optic. Not really necessary though, as the plastic components worked and I had the sights dialed-in.

    Things I liked:

Very solid construction and a good design. I like how well it supports the barrel. This is the first modification you should do on the 2240. Now I can securely install a red dot sight.

    Things I would have changed:

The steel breech and mim rear sight cost more than the pistol. The high cost dropped one star on value.

    What others should know:

This kit is easy to install with common tools. It even comes with the Allen wrenches you need to complete the task. Make sure you use blue loctite on the bolt handle threads or it won't stay tight.

    Things I liked:

They did a FANTASTIC job installing the steel breech; but I feel the new sights are too high. I loved the peep sight on the .177 crosman; but these LPA sights are like 2 in high for me, at about 50 feet. Especially with the drop of the .22; I have my sights at their highest setting to hit 1-2 inches low at 5~10 pumps. Your milage may vary, and I love this Drifter, but the) LPA sights are better left to pistol shooting, and not the "carbine" Crosmans. It's a shame, the 11mm dove tail might come in handy, but you can't use the original aperture sights after the conversion.

    Things I would have changed:

Peep/aperture sights for the steel breech. Forcing myself to look into the Williams diopter for $80...

    What others should know:

Great for a .22 multipurpose. Ran it with my chrony and got the 550 fps with 10 pumps. Not as far-ranged as your .177 Crosman "carbine" but brings a bigger, more stable projectile at subsonic speeds. The steel breech conversion is nice, unless you love the stock peep sights and "carbine " shooting with the stock. Bonus! Stock is quick detachable, unlike my .177

    Things I liked:

The steel breech allows the use of an adjustable site (which I purchased) or a scope or red dot.

    Things I would have changed:

The amount of adjustment in the rear site. It will not go low enough to work with the front site of the Crosman 1322

    What others should know:

You can make the front site of the Crosman 1322 work by glueing on another piece of plastic or aluminum that is just under 1/8" tall. This addition to the front site will allow it to work with the adjustable site. I had heard that the steel breech gave increased velocity. This was not the case with my pistol. It gave 510 fps with the original plastic breech. It gets 470 fps with the steel breech.

Installed pretty easy. I have to admit I had to go to youtube to better understand process. But, got it done in short order. Rear sight went on without difficulty.

    Things I would have changed:

Instruction sheet leaves much to be desired. FYI - make sure the bolt is in the closed position as it blocks hole for rear sight screw.

    What others should know:

The looks the ability to add a scope or lazier dot makes the gun with much more versatility.

    Things I liked:

The Crosman Steel Breech Kit is a nice upgrade for the P1322 pistol. It adds weight and improves ergonomic balance. The LPA rear sight does not fill the steel dovetail causing a sloppy, crooked fit. The LPA unit looks cheap and ridiculous in its perilous mounting. Mine was returned to Pyramyd within hours. Williams makes a nice adjustable rear sight which fits this pistol at about the same price. With either unit, the front sight blade must be customized (made taller) to achieve proper elevation when sighting in.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer the steel breech kit as a package with a Williams WGRS 54, #1481 rear sight.

    What others should know:

Don't buy the LPA rear sight.

    What others should know:

The slot on the breech is too large for the sight. Has to be shimmed to keep site in place.

    The steel breech.

    Things I would have changed:

The set screws on the bottom of the sight would not extend far enough to lock the sight into place. I have installed the same setup on my 1322, so it is not user error. Not a good value at all.
