    Things I liked:

I like everything about this air rifle....I have the .25 cal marauder and with a pellet it likes it will shoot accurately out to eighty and even a hundred yards....the trigger is great its nice and light and predictable....And it's got lots of power....the rifle is a little on the hefty side and the stock is a bit chunky but I like both things I just mentioned....I like the feel the stock has and the weight doesn't bother me at all it feels just right for a adult air rifle with the power the .25 caliber benjamin marauder has.Not to mention that with everything else this rifle has it also has a great price!!!

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

Only that this is truely a great air rifle and at this price point it can't be beat....try a benjamin marauder you will not be disappointed. And if for some reason it doesn't tickle your fancy pyramyd air has the best customer service around and they will absolutely take care of you.

    Things I liked:

The whole PCP concept is really a great convenience when shooting by reducing the work between shots. The 10-shot magazine makes it even easier! Just pull back the bolt and run it back home and in 2 seconds you're ready for the next shot. Also the gun is much quieter than a spring rifle. I love the trigger! I'm used to that terrible, long-pull trigger on my Crosman break-barrel rifle and with the Marauder's beautiful trigger, coupled with almost no kick, it's so much easier to keep a small group on the target.

    Things I would have changed:

Shave some weight from the gun: they say the new synthetic stock is lighter than the wood. The Marauder is a real load to hold when shooting in a free standing position.

    What others should know:

Be prepared to remove a jammed pellet or two while you're getting used to how the magazine and the bolt work. Get one or 2 more magazines, you will not be sorry you did.

    Things I liked:

Well, opening the box I was met with a truely huge chunk of PCP rifle. Nothing small or light weight here. Solid built and hefty. I was surprised with the overall mass at first. But after hanging the legs on the stock for the bipod, mounting the scope and sighting things in for 35 yards, well, the heft did not feel so bad any longer. This not your childhood pump smooth bore bb/pellet slinger. This is a rifle to be reconed with. The loading of the pellets in the magazine could not be easier or simpler. Inserting the magazine is easy and secure in fit. As far as the guns accuracy, range and the fact that mine is .25 cal, well it's just amazing what this combination can bring shot after shot. Having so many shots on one fill of on-board air almost leaves you care free walking out for an afternoons shooting without the worry of running out of that last shot for the day. I may eventually make a few minor changes in some manner, but for now and my current needs, not one darn thing needs to be done to make this a competent no-nonsense shooter. This gun has now taken down rats, Starlings, pest pigeons for a few farmers and as many privately owned air strips, neutrea and marsh rats. Even with the bigger pests, very seldom is there a need for a follow up shot to end things. The .25 does the job well. Personally, I'm fixing to purchase another Marauder in .25 to be setup the same way for the same shooting I'm doing now. A friend may just have to be allowed to have some fun.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing worth noting is my dislike of the light cream finish of the stock. I'm old school and prefer dark wood or dark finishes. This will be easy enough to change and is not considered to be something that would detract from the guns overall appearance and surely not a factor in it's use.

    What others should know:

I had to give the gun 5 stars for accuracy as any problems are surely my abilities and not the guns. For the value for the money, I've spent twice this amount for air rifles and ended up with twice the amount of finicky problems. The Marauder is a value for the price to my door. This is not a childs rifle and is in fact a 'big boy' toy. When you heft this thing up to your shoulder, you know that something big is going to happen once the trigger is brought to release. If you have doubts of whether there's much difference between the impact and damage of a .177 or .22 or the .25, well, it's pretty much night and day. The differences of impact between a .22 and the .25 are enough to be immediately seen the first time the pellet sails downrange to your target. If this would be your first PCP purchase, for the money, you can do no better. This Marauder will be a keeper and will soon be joined by a second. Be sure to buy extra magazines. I have 4 and keep them loaded when I'm out hunting. Worth it. FWIW, I've used Pyramid Air for many years now and these guys have never let me down with stock on hand, support, pellet selection and ready answers to any questions I've had about a pending purchase. Be sure to check the box that will cost a mere $10 for the gun to be checked for functionality, looks and shooting. They will give you the chrony printouts for a 10 shot spread mailed with the gun for your pre-receipt peace of mind. I was not left wondering. The proof was there.

    Things I liked:

This is my 2nd marauder. I have a .25 and wanted a .22. I know there is a lot of negativity regarding the .22 barrels. Let me say I did not find this with my new rifle. I used JSB exacts 15.9 grain and placed pellet after pellet in the same hole at 30 yards right out of the box. The .22 is lot more quiet then the .25 not saying that the .25 is loud.

    Things I would have changed:

Supply single shot trays along with new rifles

    What others should know:

Anyone looking to get into a PCP gun need to look no further. The marauder is quiet, accurate, has a great trigger and is priced a good bit lower then most other PCP rifles. What else could you ask for?

    Things I liked:

This is an overall great value for the money. I have the .25 caliber model and it is a real tack driver! One hole groups at 50 yards shooting JSB Exact 25.4 grn. The trigger is great for a sub-$500 PCP. The gun is very quiet. I have mine set the way it came from the factory and I get 16-18 consistent shots at 50 yards. That being said, if you plan on doing a lot of target shooting and using a hand pump to fill this gun, you will either get in really good shape, or start yearning for a carbon fiber cylinder very quickly. :) If you plan on using then gun for mostly hunting then a hand pump will be okay.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see stock redesigned to be more light weight. With scope and bipod, my gun weighs in at 11lbs. Thats a lot of weight to be lugging around the woods! Other than the weight, theres not much I would change for the price point.

    What others should know:

There will always be haters of every product. Some guys (or gals) may find everything wrong with this gun, but they are used to paying $2000+ for their PCP air rifles. In my opinion, this is a great gun for the money. Its a great place for someone who is wanting to get into PCP air guns to start out. I have been absolutely pleased with the performance of this rifle.

Awesome gun very accurate ,quite . Just a lot of fun to shoot.started to hunt with it and has plenty of knock down power.shooting pigeons out to forty yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Kind of heavy but built like a tank . But it is well put together from fit to finish.

spot on accuracy. hits like a hammer, small & med. sized game don't stand a chance. Beautiful trigger pull right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

a little heavy, especially once you add the required optics.

    What others should know:

so quiet and almost no kick so it is easy to underestimate how powerful this rifle really is. Don't get careless ,know your backstop and what is down range. This is NOT a toy! A true hunting rifle, treat it as such.

Great value for the money, out of the box accuracy(one ragged hole at 30 yards), ease of use, balance, craftsmanship, hard hitting so make sure of your backstop or background, shipment came right on time and everything was there and in perfect condition

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing at this time but will be getting an air tank in the future

    What others should know:

The hand pump is time consuming and it definetly gets hard to pump when approaching the 3,000 PSI mark so if you can afford it get an air tank. Was aware of this before purchase after much research.

    Things I liked:

Extremely accurate straight out of the box. Amazing price for the quality of this rifle. Very consistent 20 shot string. Mouse fart quiet. Very powerful in .25 cal. Trigger is very crisp and predictable. Easy maintenance and do-it-yourself repairs. Since this gun is so popular, there is tons of info on tuning and a million customizations and after market parts.

    Things I would have changed:

I have very few gripes about this gun. The only one that comes to mind at the moment is the weight. The gun doesn't sound heavy at around 7 lbs, but once you get a scope on and go for a good long day of hunting you'll really notice every ounce of weight. This really isnt a flaw with the rifle though as most all full size rifles in this power category are around the same weight if not more.

    What others should know:

I have done nothing to the rifle. I havent cleaned the barrel or adjusted it in any way and Im getting half inch 5 shot groups at 60 yards with the benjamin 27.8gr pellets. The rifle also shoots JSB 25.4 exceptionally well with groupings being 3/4 inch at 60 yards. Those are the only two pellets Ive tested so far and am very eager to see what others can do. If your new to PCP's and your looking for an entry rifle, look no further. Buy this gun now as its cheap, reliable, and has the performance of air rifles three times its cost. This is a gun you will never part with. Go ahead and look around online and you'll see that many people have the same opinion as I that this rifle has the potential to perform with the big name brands out there.

    Things I liked:

25 shoots like a laser and hits hard with 16-24 shots depending on tune. The 177 has lots of shots (60 from 3200 to 1800 psi / 940 - 803 fps with stock tune & 8.3gr pellets). 177 is quiet. Loudest part of shot is air tube ping and bullet hitting target. Air blast is mouse fart.

    Things I would have changed:

177 accuracy isn't as good as my 25 but maybe i got a bad 177? Make it lighter, make stock more svelte and raise cheek rest.

    What others should know:

Gun out of the box actually weighs 8.35 lbs. The marauder is a fun gun, especially the 25 with the nice Green Mountain barrel. But to get the most out of it you'll need to tune it. The shrouded barrel with baffles make the 177 and 22 quiet but the 25 is some louder.

    Things I liked:

Accurate, vibration-less, multi-shot, and quiet. Marauders are my introduction to the PCP rifle world. I am not looking back to the single break rifles.

    Things I would have changed:

Include/suggest a scope with/for the rifle as it has a 11mm rail for scope mounts, not the Weaver rail.

    What others should know:

You will need a pump or HPA air tank for this rifle. Check out both the Benjamin and Hill pumps before buying. If you decide on the HPA tank, check around at the paintball ranges to see what pressures they can supply to the tank. They might not be able to supply 4500psi, but may be able to supply 4000psi,as I discovered. Air Venturi 90 cu in tank to 4000 psi will recharge rifle from 2000psi to 2500psi more than a dozen times from a 4000psi charged tank. I also got a bi-pod for the rifle, as it is a little heavy, and helps accuracy over 30 yards.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy is outstanding! I mounted a scope, centered the gun, and shot squirrels with it the next morning. The accuracy varied somewhat with different pellets, but it was easy with the best pellets to get 1" groups at 50 yards. Very quiet, simple to operate. Absolutely no recoil. The trigger is 2-stage, and the second stage has creep, but the pressure is absolutely smooth, constant and light. It's easy to be consistent. It is a very high quality weapon for a very reasonable price.

    Things I would have changed:

It's relatively heavy. I'm not sure much can be done about that, but it's a man-sized gun in size and weight. Also, it is possible to have the magazine not index correctly and the firing sequence malfunction if the bolt is not operated fully and with a little force. If this happens, the gun will not fire until the bolt is opened and closed a second time. Watch the magazine when operating the bolt to make sure it rotates.

Quiet, powerful and 10-shot magazine for more shooting fun and follow-up shots.

    Things I would have changed:

Very disappointed that it's not made in the USA. Maybe the first prototypes were, but this one was "assembled in the USA with components made in China." The photos and video reviews are a bit misleading as they show "Made in the USA" right on the rifle, but it's not. If supporting US manufacturing is as important to you as it is to me, you might be disappointed with this information. Also, the stock is more synthetic with a wood look. Not quite meeting the expectation from the photos and videos. If they were going to go synthetic, would have preferred a lighter material as it's fairly heavy, affecting accuracy depending on shooting position.

    What others should know:

Pumping with the hand pump isn't bad, but can be taxing. Still, expect to pump 40 - 50 times for every 1000 psi.
