I got this gun for x-mas, I have only shot it a couple times due the the weather. On my third tome it started jamming,even with the right kind of bb, My dad fixed it then it jammed again. If you are looking for a realible gun, Get a more expeseive one that lasts longer.

i had this once and after the heavy usage i had on it it finally broke because of the wear. for future reference don't slam and yank the cocking mechanism back so hard. it only goes a several couple inches back. a very good and reliable gun in the hands of an experienced air-soft player.

Its short and able to be used in C.Q.B.

I wish it was scope-able.

this gun is not worth your money. my guns spings stretched and the cocking part wouldnt go back in.

i would make it more sturdy cause everything is loose and more metal parts and better springs becasue it brakes! a better strap cause it broke within the first five minutes

IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP! i dont recommend this gun to anybody only to people that like to waist their money.

Overall an excellent gun for the price. It is a spring gun, so you have to cock it for every shot, but anyone experienced with a bolt action rifle will find that operation is very similar. Generally well made, sturdy plastic. Realistic size, but lighter than the ‘real steel’ version. It does come with a crosshair sight which is adjustable for windage but not elevation, which is unfortunate since the crosshair sight shoots very high. This is the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars. But you can leave it off, and the open sights are quite accurate, I was surprised at the accuracy using the open sights. I shot a 1.5 inch 5 shoot group at 25 feet with .20g BBs, very good for a smooth bore gun. The rear open sight is switchable from close to long range, but is not adjustable in windage. Not a problem since it was dead on for me as it came from the box.

The magazine is a bit hard to use, loading from the magazine’s reservoir requires a bit of shaking back and forth, and the BBs in the reservoir rattle around a lot, which is not an issue for me since I use it for target shooting and plinking, but might be bothersome for a someone using it as a skirmisher. The sling is a bit cheap, if I used a sling I’d replace it with a nylon sling for a regular gun.

Very nice gun and a good price. You have to take it for what it is; a spring gun. If you're buying this gun because it the most you can afford but you really want an automatic you'll be disappointed. But as a spring gun it is really very good, I'd recommend it. I like it a lot. Comes with 500 .12 gram BBs, but the .12g BBs are too light and have no accuracy. I really recommend .20g, which have superb accuracy. Stated muzzle velocity is 300 fps, however I'm getting around 330-340 fps, so Crosman's stated value of 300 fps is on the conservative side.

2 bbs come out occasionaly with .12s for the money this gun is amazing

This gun is, looks-wise, very spot-on for the price, down to the hole in the middle of the carry handle. I also liked how the included sight looks like a Mueller Quick Shot dot sight. The 4-position buttstock is also nice, as most of the AR15-platformed adjustable-stocked airsoft rifles I see are two-position. It is also very lightweight, which I find to be a good thing. The quick-release magazines are also amazing, add a touch of realism to the gun. I also liked how the gun comes with two magazines instead of one, because I was able to dual-mag it :3. This gun is the best-looking below-triple-digit-price airsoft gun I have seen. The reservoir of the magazine (however not useful, reasoning in the "Things I Would Change" section) has an amazing capacity.

The front iron sight is too low, so you have to aim below the target. Also, the BB curves unless the gun is perfectly upright, making crouch shooting and bench-rest shooting a hassle. The sling is also a tad too short, even when at it's maximum length. The magazine is tough to refill the capacity through the reservoir without the BB's shooting out of the magazine by way of the spring system. The gun is spot-on for an AR-15, but the M5 RAS is rarely seen on one with the A1 upper receiver, and is most common with the A3/!4 upper receiver (flat-top), but it could all just be another attachment. The lower sling hole on the buttstock is also useless as the sling cannot fit through it. Although I knew before-hand I would have to pull the charging handle after each shot, I wish it could at least be semi-automatic.

This gun would probably go well with a foregrip, as that would help keep the gun upright, and therefore, straight-shooting.

it is a very cool looking gun. can hold a lot of rounds w/ a high capacity in the magazine. the back of the gun is extendable which is good for different people depending on their size.

although depending on which way the gun is tilted the pellet always curves to the side. through the scope you have 2 aim below the target a little bit because the bb always curves upward 4 every shot.to shoot this gun accurately, u have 2 hold it exactly straight up and down, and below.

there are a few kinks, but once u master this gun w/ only a tiny bit of practice this gun is a whole load of fun to use!

my friend gave me this gun when i first started airsoft. i was amazed at how acurate it was and how powerful it was with .2s. i put on a home made scope mount on the carying handle and put on a 2*42 magnifacaition scope and i sniped with it. now i am more experienced and have a m14 aeg and a echo 1 m28 for my guns. the gun shootings were done before upgrades in them. with the upgrades i got about 145feet acuretly with .2s and 175 to 180 feet accurately with .23s and .25s.

the carrying handle doesnt come off so therer is no weaver rails on it till you put one on. other than that nothing.

it shoots straight with .2s up to about 135 feet and 90 feet with .12s. i also used some .25s and .23s in it wich made it shoot about 150 to 170 feet. i carry it around with me so i can let new players who want to become a sniper can come and learn with me. i have also upgraded it to shoot around 350 to 345 fps so it shoots harder.

Accuracy. Gimmicks like the cross-hair add on.

Loading the bb's, I haven't yet been able to get a full load in by shaking back and forth. Usually the spring held back by a cheesy stop, pops and shoots out what I have acquired.

This gun is incredibly accurate for the price, it won't compete with a $200 sniper rifle or a $300 AEG, but for small skirmishes, with similarly priced guns, it can't be beaten. The accuracy is good enough for long shots and the velocity is enough to get it there.

Not much, metal parts would jack up price, making it electric would decrease performance. I love that it comes with two mags. When I bought mine years ago it only came with one.

The people that I play with widely vary in their skill level and committment to the sport. While I have upgraded significantly ( a Snow Wolf M24 and a Galil SAR ) the stinger is still one that comes along with me for someone who doesn't have a gun or if both of mine break down.

A very solid airsoft weapon! m1913 picatinny for mounting picatinny accessories. Extremely accurat and reliable

loves the .25 ammo. adjust the rear sight so it can safely be flipped for bullet drop

i would like if it wasn't spring and if the rear sight could come off but still great gun for new airsoft players

Adjustable stock for max comfort, decent sights, big mags (comes with two!), very accurate, rails for accessorizing. Hop-up and decent fps.

More adjustable sight, adjustable hop-up, maybe better fps.

Bottom line: GOOD (my rating: 7.5/10

The gun is great at short range but sucks at long range what i do to become more accurate at long range is use .20 gram air soft BB's

add some more fps and become full metal

use .20 gram bb's!!! and get this gun

This Gun shoots pretty fast, and it is very light. The ammo capacity is also quite nice.

i would make the barrel longer and the gun metal.

The gun isnt very accurate at longer ranges, and even when not using hop-up it doesnt shoot anything below .15 gram bb's very accurately.

The gun looks cool, it is accurate, cheap. You will hit the enemy targets more than 80% of the time.

add some fps, include a laser sight.

It's amazing at close range. And good at long distance.
