    Things I liked:

I bought this gun for my daughters, they like the balance. and it is quiet and accurate (35 yards). They enjoy shooting it. I am very pleased with it.

    Things I would have changed:

the scope is alright but a more powerful one would be nice

    What others should know:

I shoot a nitro venom and it is quieter. the spring makes more noise than the shot out of the muzzle.

    Things I liked:

This is a very well built rifle. I loved getting it at a super low Pyramyd price. Cocks easy and has lots of power. Very accurate once I got her dialed in.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope it came with did not fit my eye relief so I changed it out for another model. The one that came on the rifle fit another of my rifles very well. Awesome air rifle. Regardless of the suppressor I have found it to be fairly loud. Hoping the noise will settle down some as more rounds are fired.

    What others should know:

A great buy for the money spent. The sale special price was a very good deal to be had. A very nice addition to my air gun collection. One of the best break barrel rifles I've tried out in this price range. Buy one. You will love it too.

    Things I liked:

The size and heft. The suppressor provides an excellent handhold when cocking. Cocking effort isn't very high (or it could be; the thick barrel offsets it, though). Feels solid.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing, so far. I thought I wouldn't like the location of the safety, but it quickly becomes intuitive.

    What others should know:

I'm still in the breaking-in period of this rifle (it has rained every weekend since I received it, so my round count is only about 200). This is the first rifle that I've had that actually requires me to use the artillery hold, and the groups are starting to get really tight at a distance of 25 yards. The illuminated scope seems to be a gimmick; I've played around with scoping things around my yard and haven't found a situation requiring glowing reticles.

    Things I liked:

Everything! Its a very nice compact, sleek rifle, and has a quality you normally just don't see today.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much, other than maybe add some weaver rails to it...then again, Stoeger has the new "ATAC" rifle that solves that problem.

    What others should know:

Bare with me on this please... If you're expecting a completely quiet/silent "Hollywood suppressed" modern SOCOM sniper rifle, be prepared to be disappointed. Out of the box this rifle is just as loud as any springer air gun out there. *HOWEVER* It comes from the factory with oils and lubricants that need to be "burned off" (shoot several rounds) before the gun starts to quiet down. I got the rifle last night, and this morning with my coffee I spent a hour putting 75 rounds down range so I could sight and break the rifle in. After about 50 shots, you will in fact notice that the X20 Suppressor gets noticeably quieter! IT IS NOT QUIET STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX-which unfortunately has led to several "negative" reviews where people think they are in fact getting some "mythical suppressed firearm". Having said that, you need to take your time with this gun to break it in and sight in the scope. So, my advice when purchasing this air gun is to fire off at least 30-40 shots in a safe manner to burn off the factory oils, then starting sighting it in. By the way- in contrary to what the packaging box and reviews say, the X20S IS NOT BORESIGHTED, and that has to be done by yourself. In closing I have given the X20s 5 stars because, after its break-in time it is very quiet compared to my other air guns, it has a nice compact profile, and its perfect for shooting off my back porch. Besides wanting one for almost 2 years, I am glad I finally got one, and I am in no means disappointed!

    Things I liked:

It looked really cool with the integrated suppressed barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

Optics that came with the rifle had to be upgraded from the beginning. Integrated suppressor seems to be for appearance only. My rifle does not hold a precise vertical zero, possibly due to it being break barrel. Switching to Benjamin marauder in synthetic stock.

    What others should know:

I purchased the Stoeger X20s along with a Leapers 3-9x40 Hunter scope. The first thing noticed is that when trying to load .177 pellets into the thing, you have to get the pellet lined up in the breech and then use something like the butt of a screwdriver to get the pellet in. I have tried Gamo, Daisy,RWS and Crosman pellets. Same results with each one. The best group acheived is about 5 inches at 15 yds. Not sure if it is the scope, rings or gun yet.Leupold steel rings are on the way, and I hope this clears up the accuracy problem. If not the Leapers and the Stoeger are going back to Pyramyd and I will purchase something made in the U.S.

    Things I liked:

SO easy to cock because of the barrel length. Really puts the pellets out there. Great feel. I just love it.

    What others should know:

Make sure you move the sight back far enough that you can see the whole view.

    Things I liked:

Overall presentation was very nice. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and finish.

    Things I would have changed:

The breach had some issues and I couldn't get pellets into the "chamber". The ones that did shot terribly at 9 yards. I went online and found out that this is common on these guns and people have just been polishing the burrs off of the chamber mouth. It also looked like my barrel was bent when you looked down the tube from the rear. My other spring gun doesn't have these issues, and the Stoeger was sent back for a different product. I don't want to have to "fix" a $180 airgun out of the box.

    What others should know:

I will not be buying another Stoeger airgun. The concept was appealing, but the execution was poor.

    Things I liked:

I compared both X20 & X20s in .22cal. The X20s was much quieter in my opinion. Rifle was achieving FPS /FPE of 602/15.4 with H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme & 715/13.5 with RWS Hobby.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger was a bit stiff, and I replaced with a GTX Gen II. I also had the spring replaced with a gas ram by Mike at Flying Dragon, who also tuned the rifle. Now it is really quiet! FPS/FPE of 722/13.8 with RWS Hobby, but 643/17.6 with the Baracudas!

    What others should know:

Stoeger X-Field also run well in this rifle achieving 714 FPS / 16.6 FPE. I highly recommend a gas ram to really quiet the rifle.

    Things I liked:

Let me start off by saying this is the best airgun I have ever owned. I ordered it in .22 for small game hunting. It has it's ups and downs, but it has done nothing but impress me so far. Ordered this gun with the 20 for 20 service, and I'm REALLY impressed with how well my scope was mounted. Out of the box, this gun was ready to shoot. Literally. Highly recommend that service. And the Flambeau case that came with the 20 for 20 service(an additional $35 however) is very nice. Any how, this gun is somewhat heavy compared to my gamo bone collector, which I like. It is also much quieter than my gamo bone collector, and more accurate too.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope and the trigger. I wish I would have bought a leapers to compliment this gun, but the folks at pyramyd air did such a great job of mounting the scope included I don't want to take it off! And yes, the trigger is very bad, but I'll address how to properly use it in order to achieve maximum accuracy below.

    What others should know:

Buy this gun in .22, because I know for a fact that it shoots dead on with Crossman Premier hollow points, which are dirt cheap. Now, this may sound kind of silly, but in order to shoot accurately with this gun, you must pull the trigger rather fast but at a consistent pace. You don't want to pull and stop at the second stage, then pull again. You want to not jerk, but squeeze the trigger pretty fast, almost in a jerk-like motion. And use the artillery hold. I have no doubt in my mind that I can hit a 2" by 2" target at 70 yards using this simple trick. So, pull the trigger as fast as you possibly can while keeping the cross hairs on target. It's hard at first, but when your getting more squirrels than all your friends you'll thank me for it. And one more thing. Do yourself a favor, and jump on that 20 for 20 service. I thought I was good and experienced with scope mounting, but pyramyd air did a much finer job of mounting that scope than I ever could...

    Things I liked:

the look is good, the scope is nicer than the one on the TR77 and it has red and green LED illumination

    Things I would have changed:

it is way not a whisper quiet airgun as I anticipated, the way the spring discharges right next to your ear and shakes the whole gun is bad. It may be quieter than others on the market, but -5 or 10 dB is really not that much it has way too much recoil- inaccurate. You may be well advised to buy a cheap chinese made "whisper" gun

    What others should know:

I would unfortunately say that I am disappointed in this airgun overall. Besides the fact of the "unquiet" factor. Granted, the loudest thing about it is NOT the pellet but the powerplant, maybe with a Nitro or precharged pneumatic it is better?! Also it is pretty inaccurate. I've fired about 500rds with it at 10-25 yrds, it is absolutely hit and miss at 25yrds even if it's propped up on a sandbag and as steady as possible, the grouping is really not good. With the TR77 which is much cheaper (and I got rid of it before I got this one) it was much easier to shoot clusters in about a 2.5" radius at about 20 yrds (which more skilled marksmen probably smile about). The variations in discharge of the spring driven power plant and the shudder and recoil make this gun literally a hit-and-miss gamble. it is well built, feels good, but a disappointment if you want something you can actually rely on delivering dependable consistent performance. I don't like writing a negative review and I hope that in other peoples hands the X20S does exactly what they want.

Not much. I have a Quest 1000 and with the exact same pellets it is noticeably quieter.

    Things I would have changed:

The manufacturer is not advertising this gun accurately. It is by no means quiet in .177 with standard lead pellets. Is is actually quite loud.

it is very accurate up to 100yrd+ very quite and light

    Things I would have changed:

the safety is a little loud when pushed. the only reason I even care is because when im squirrel hunting it has scared them away

    What others should know:

I recommend this gun if you need a quite gun. works great with Benjamin discovery pellets 14gr.

    Things I liked:

Very quiet. You hear the spring and the thump of the piston, but no noise from the muzzle at all. Good accuracy once it is broken in.

    Things I would have changed:

The reticle in the scope could be much better. The center is a fairly large dot rather than fine cross-hairs. The dot it larger that the group the rifle is capable of at 15 yards.

    What others should know:

The break in period is quite long. It took over 200 rounds to get consistent groups, and the group size in still shrinking 300 rounds in.

    Things I liked:

The fact that it smaller in over-all length and light weight makes it my general purpose "go to" rifle. It has the right amount of power and is easy to cock. Any body would feel comfortable using this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

This would apply to most any air rifle, a gas piston power-plant instead of the spring piston.

    What others should know:

This rifle is not the most accurate of all air rifles, nor is it the most powerful. But it is the most enjoyable to shoot. Pure fun and any one can learn to use this rifle in a matter of minutes. Just remember to be respectful of your surroundings and you won't go wrong.

    Things I liked:

As someone whose experience is solely based on conventional firearms, I found this air gun to be surprisingly accurate and powerful for a springer. I certainly did not feel like I was using a a child's "toy".

    Things I would have changed:

The length of pull (LOP) was excessively long, for me, and I've used many different types of long guns. Perhaps, it was the positioning of the trigger that made it less than comfortable to shoulder and shoot; I can't say with certainty. The length of pull also made it difficult to establish proper eye relief from the ocular lens on the scope that was provided. This is a well made and accurate gun; but it was not the most comfortable one I've ever fired. I thought of returning it; but its other attributes convinced me to keep it.

    What others should know:

Overall, this is not a bad choice for an air gun. However, I am looking forward to trying out the ATAC Suppressor (when it is back in stock) from Stoeger. From the looks of it, I think that the tactical stock may be more comfortable.

    Things I liked:

Been very impressed with the rifle even pulling it out of the box. Well built and engineered. Didn't take long to sight it in. Found this rifle as accurate as claimed. What really impressed me was how quiet this rifle is. No other rifle is as quiet as I have heard. This was one of the main reasons I purchased it. Very happy with it. This rifle is the real McCoy.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is a little heavy, but is adjustable. Make's you squeeze like you are suppose too.

    What others should know:

Had absolutely no problems with going through Pyramyd Air on the purchase. Recommend using this company. They also have some good video's to watch, which helped me to make the decision to buy this rifle and from them.

    Things I liked:

I love the black finish to begin with. It's heavy and realistic looks. Unlike the pneumatics, you can keep on shooting without worrying of running out of charge air.

    Things I would have changed:

The hand grip position ergonomically is not proportion to wrist position while shooting this rifle. I have to rest my wrist after several shots because the hand grip angle position is not in proper body alignment while shooting this rifle. If you rest this rifle in front of your shoulder just like the real rifle to counter act the recoil (pretend, obviously no recoil), you will probably feel that your wrist is in an awkward position. I have to raise my elbow to the side just to compensate for the wrist position.

    What others should know:

If you try to shoot this rifle too fast (as fast as you can break barrel and load), it FEELS like and SOUNDS like that there are still trapped air inside the front compensator and accuracy seems to be compromised. Try it and you'll know what I'm talking about. To solve this problem, I blow the remaining air out the barrel as soon as I break the barrel and it works real well.

    Things I liked:

Just about everything. As others have said the trigger pull is long on 2nd stage but it is smooth. Mine is shooting very nice at 35 yards with only minor scope adj. needed. Also, this gun is indeed quiet and it cycles nice,at least compared to my magnum springers.

    Things I would have changed:

    Open sights would be great.

    What others should know:

For it's intended use this gun is great for the money. It was never meant to be a match grade rifle but for plinking, pesting and small gaming I don't think anything else on the market is as well rounded when considering weight, noise and accuracy. PYA is great!
