The world-famous MilSim Junkie was off chasing waterfalls or something, so the I decided to step in and grab some airsoft war footage while I was hanging out at CQB City up in Stockton, California a couple weeks ago.  However, all respect must be given to the MSJ, because putting together a quality airsoft war video is not as easy as he makes it seem.  There is really no substitute for his gameplay capturing wizardry.

Due to a series of unfortunate injuries, including a recurring shoulder dislocation problem stemming from an outing last summer while the MilSim Junkie was visiting me in Southern California, I have been limited to working behind the camera while my buddies, Dave, Todd & Luke got to tear it up on the field. Dave was using his Elite Force HK416 CQB AEG with a giant Surefire tac light while my brother, Todd, ran around The City with my Elite Force HK417, which has been downgraded for CQB use. Luke, on the other hand, went with his self-built, fully customized Magpul stubby CQB destoyer with a Speed Trigger and a Gen 2 ASCU MOSFET trigger unit.

If you're in the market for a top-of-the-line Airsoft AEG, you really need to look no further than the Elite Force HK416 or HK417.  If you've already got either of those, but are in need of extra mags, I have your solution:
Extra mags for the Elite Force HK416 AEG
Extra mags for the Elite Force HK417 AEG - 100-rd Mid-Cap
Extra mags for the Elite Force HK417 AEG - 500-rd High-Cap

Here is the video, I do sincerely hope that it brings you joy and harmonious Airsoft love.

It seems like each year, a story breaks of someone getting their stuff jacked from the floor of Shot Show.  Last year, I suppose the biggest story was probably the Crye Precision prototype jacket that got stolen from their booth.  Well, this year, Elite Force has either decided to produce a new variation of the HK416 or they have become the victim of a most heinous crime.

See what happened after the jump...

Today, I'd like to highlight an organization within the Airsoft industry which I think is going to do very good things for our community.  American MilSim.  They are a team of dudes from the Dirty South who have been, and will likely continue, putting on some incredible MilSim events in various parts of the Southeastern quadrant of the United States of America.  Their prior events have included fantastic AOs like Ft. Hood's MOUT site(s) & the Government Training Institute, helicopters, tanks crushing cars, sweet pyro, busting doors with battering rams, Andy Green wearing pants, busting doors with pyro, Direct Action Missions which are fairly elaborate little mini missions woven within the fabric of the overall OP, more pyro, explosions, Andy Green wearing goggles, & other cool stuff.

They've got several sweet events already in the works for 2013, among them being OP: Broken Home II, OP: Faded Giant, something called "End State" and OP: Reindeer Games.  If they keep it to just those four events, it will still be a fantastic year for anyone fortunate enough to attend.  They may add even more events to the calendar at a later time, but who knows for sure?

I've taken the liberty of including some pretty sweet videos relating to American Milsim and their instructional arm, MilSim Mechanix, which I will go more into detail about at a later date.

My 2nd son was born today, and I didn't have a chance to prepare anything in advance for the blog today, but luckily I have a number of selfless friends and one of them, Dave Bakholdin (Airsoft Report, LLC), graciously agreed to take some time out of his busy schedule today to come up with something for you wonderful readers to feast upon.

Here what Dave had to say about things today after the jump...

Believe it or not, this is a review of the still-fairly-new
Elite Force Universal M4 Mid Cap AEG Magazines.

I realize that the image above has almost nothing to do with the magazines themselves, as they are barely visible in the shot, but I thought it was a lot more attention grabbing than just a shot of a bunch of Airsoft magazines. So that's what I went with. But to satisfy both parties, here's one of just the Elite Force Universal Mid Cap Mags all by themselves.

In addition to the plethora of video I captured while at the 2012 U.S. Airsoft Expo, I snapped a couple photographs as well.  Since it took forever and a day to process all of them cuz my computer is slow, I'm not going to spend much time writing.  A blessing, I'm sure, to those of you who only come here to look at the pretty pictures and then bounce without giving me a hug or even saying goodbye.  You just use me as your Airsoft photo booty call and then leave.  Real nice.

Believe it or not, there are photos in here that I have not published before, but you will have to check them out after the jump...
