Exciting news for the Vietnam era weapon lovers out there.  Spartan Imports announced at their Shot Show booth this year that G&P will be releasing the CAR-15 AEG airsoft rifle.
It appears to be a fairly accurate representation of its firearm counterpart, including the one-piece receiver (upper & lower do not separate).

The rifle is a very solid build, and I would expect nothing less from G&P, whom, as you may know, makes really nice stuff.

Magazine is 190-round mid-cap, I believe.  I'm sure there will be a high-cap option, if there isn't already one on the market that will work.

Price point will likely be at least $350.

Certainly a unique variation on the plethora of M4 & M16 rifles available on the market.  I think it's pretty obvious who this rifle is aimed at.  Yep, if you like Vietnam-era Airsoft guns, chances are, you're at least moderately giddy about the release of Echo1's new Vietnam-era AEG.

If you're still interested at this point, best thing to do is to take the jump to see the rest of the photos and get all the specs on the new Echo1 SOG-68...
